But I was in the ER with pneumonia Friday, 4/7, and Dr. Burca's office called me Tuesday to ask how I was & to schedule a followup visit. THAT was impressive. Today (4/14) was that follow up, and she is extraordinary. She went over my tests and records from ER, and past records from my previous primary. She was thorough, intelligent, and kind. She recommended a pulmonologist for my prior lung issues, recommended a follow up in a month to be sure the pneumonia was gone, and changed my June appointment to a wellness check & physical. Meanwhile, she asked me to please call if I got worse or needed anything. SHE is impressive! Her office staff is friendly and efficient. Erin was the one who called me Tuesday and I met her today when I checked in. Shameeka took my vitals before I saw Dr. Burca. Tracy checked me out, making my future appointments and giving me paperwork for referral & tests. All three women were cordial and skillful.

Today is my consult with Dr. LaCamera for my 4th one in 18 years. The first one in 2003 was good, with no reason to see him for ten years. But two tumors in 2009 necessitated another colonoscopy in 2011. Those polyps put me on the 5 year plan. The third, in 2016, resulted in 3 undetermined polyps which put me on the 3 year schedule. I'm hoping that the next scheduled colonoscopy returns me to the 10 year schedule. Dr. LaCamera is patient, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. My consultation with him is a back and forth of questions and answers - concerned and friendly. His staff mirrors his positive traits - always professional, patient, kind, friendly and knowledgeable. If I have to undergo this necessary procedure with it's cumbersome, unpleasant preparation the day before, at least I know that my surroundings and the people in those surroundings are wonderful & beyond reproach!

Without hesitation, we figured we'd eat, then we'd grab a seat, in the bus. If just felt right to give a gift. A gift of blood. We had NO IDEA that giving blood would be SO MUCH FUN! For when we stepped outta the Florida heat and took our seats, we were greeted by the Tag Team of Julio & Nick! These guys should go on tour. Comedy! Action! Even though we were laughing and having a bloody good time, we knew for sure we were in good hands, too. Funny, how you can be totally professional while being absolutely endearing. I was given a questionnaire to fill out, and then we exchanged the form with a tablet to answer more health questions. My blood pressure was taken, and my iron count was taken. We walked into the donation area, where I sat in a donation chair, and the donation routine began to take my blood. After about 8-10 minutes, I was finished and got up and left the facility. The technician was friendly and was very good at inserting the donation needle into my arm. There was some informal conversation, and it was a very nice experience. I have been here many times before, and I will return when I can donate again. I've been donating blood since 1969 and feel I am giving life to people who need this to survive. Feel Good about yourself and give blood. One Blood has great employees working there.

All 3 of us went (2…read moreadults & a teen at diff times) and the DR didn't once examine any of us (2 had injuries) even calling the one with a back injury healthy before moving on. He saw me for chronic pain & when focusing on nerve pain prescribed Cymbalta saying he takes 2 every morning himself for back pain. Red flags piled up in the few appointments we had with him between Sept-Dec 2020 & then the bill arrived & was coded for a mental health visit for just me, the one who was given an anxiety med for nerve pain. We called the office & his staff even felt like this was an error & assured us it would be taken care of & Dr. Swoager would call us back. Instead the front desk called us with a statement saying the DR believed I was depressed. We never once discussed this in the office ever & I had family there with me every time. Misdiagnosing someone is serious and stealing money is also a crime. I have PTSD but never discussed this with the DR because I was seeing him for pain. I vaguely mentioned some of the conditions I had previous diagnosis for but continued seeking help & an MRI for pain & a tumor I have, not anything else & that was clear. Dr Swoager took full advantage of me and my family, our health, & finances. Medical care isn't cheap which is why most have to pick & choose what they can afford to be seen for within that year & Dr. Swoager took that right away from us. The 3 people in my family (self included) needed medical care and paid with time & money & still need to be seen to this day for the issues we saw Dr. Swoager for starting in September of last year and we are just now receiving more bills being charged at the higher mental health rate, not all, just some & no explanation for why other than a false diagnosis from a doctor who never discussed my mental state with me ever.

While she was there his nurse practionier Weston prescribed 2 new medications on Nov 4th. On Nov 9th I went to visit and asked My mom how new medications were going. She said she never got them. The nurse at Mease didn't know anything about them. We called pharmacy they were never ordered. The written orders were still in a folder in the nurse's office. I took picture of them. The nurse director after looking into it said they gave my mom the new medications from someone else's bottle. When I asked for medication administration records Mease refused to show them to me and gave my mom 45 days to leave. I spoke with Dr. Scott on the phone explained all the above and his only words were good luck at new facility.

Even though i have, and others doctor offices have requested my Medicals records over the years Dr Patel's office now says that they still have them but it's been too long and that they are not required to sent them to my new doctor who needs to see them. I think that this is very unfair and that if Doctor Azneer was still around he not agree with this policy at all!

First of all you are always given her full attention.. no rushing or long waits. It is her and her two Nurse practitioners , so you never see an unfamiliar face at your visits (I love that). You can tell she truly cares and takes her time and REALLY listens when you see her . What I love is she also does female exams so no seeing a separate Doctor for that !!! I am comfortable with her and she always puts my nerves at ease. They always get me in when I need and they have a patient portal for convenience, I have never not got a response with questions or concerns ,they are always on top of it. When I moved away to Massachusetts for a year I wouldn't see another Doctor I would just see her when I was visiting home. I feel like I hit the lottery Doctor wise with her and her nurses.
