She explains everything clearly and thoroughly, making you feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way. Our entire family has been coming to StadMed for years, and every visit has been a positive experience. They make us feel like more than just patients. they make us feel like family. Not only were they able to see me in a timely manner but they were able to do X-Rays on site (on a Sunday!) and provide a prescription to help with the pain. In addition, they recommended that I see an Orthopedic doctor and gave me the name of one that took me on short notice, because I was referred by STATMED. He saw me for chronic pain & when focusing on nerve pain prescribed Cymbalta saying he takes 2 every morning himself for back pain. Red flags piled up in the few appointments we had with him between Sept-Dec 2020 & then the bill arrived & was coded for a mental health visit for just me, the one who was given an anxiety med for nerve pain. We called the office & his staff even felt like this was an error & assured us it would be taken care of & Dr. Swoager would call us back. Instead the front desk called us with a statement saying the DR believed I was depressed. We never once discussed this in the office ever & I had family there with me every time. Misdiagnosing someone is serious and stealing money is also a crime. I have PTSD but never discussed this with the DR because I was seeing him for pain. I vaguely mentioned some of the conditions I had previous diagnosis for but continued seeking help & an MRI for pain & a tumor I have, not anything else & that was clear. Dr Swoager took full advantage of me and my family, our health, & finances. Medical care isn't cheap which is why most have to pick & choose what they can afford to be seen for within that year  & Dr. Swoager took that right away from us. The 3 people in my family (self included) needed medical care and paid with time & money & still need to be seen to this day for the issues we saw Dr. Swoager for starting in September of last year and we are just now receiving more bills being charged at the higher mental health rate, not all, just some & no explanation for why other than a false diagnosis from a doctor who never discussed my mental state with me ever.

Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Anoop Goyal, who is a part owner of the practice, was the complete opposite. Dr. Goyal was the physician I had previously seen in his office and the person who ordered my endoscopy and colonoscopy. Despite that, before I was sedated for these invasive procedures, he did not introduce himself, say hello, explain what was about to happen, or have any meaningful conversation with me. When a physician who already knows your case is about to examine your stomach and intestines while you are unconscious, basic communication and reassurance should not be too much to expect. When I woke up from propofol, I was still disoriented and emotional. Dr. Goyal told me that he had taken biopsies but that it looked as though I "probably just have IBS." He provided no further explanation about what he saw, why the biopsies were taken, what they were testing for, or what would happen next. While he was there, I asked him to please ensure that my work note included the previous day, when I had been required to complete the colonoscopy preparation. The prep involved drinking a bowel-cleansing solution that caused constant, urgent diarrhea and made working completely unrealistic. I explained that I had a new job with no PTO and that I could lose my job and health insurance without documentation. His exact response was, "No way," and then he walked away. I left feeling dismissed, uninformed, and unsupported during an extremely vulnerable medical experience. The nursing and surgery center staff deserve recognition for how kindly they treated me, but that does not make up for the physician's lack of communication and compassion. I cannot recommend Dr. Goyal or his practice. If you want a physician who will speak to you before an invasive procedure, explain the findings afterward, and acknowledge the practical realities of medically required colonoscopy preparation, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. The star is for the staff but if it wasn't for them I'd rate this with a fat no star if possible. What kind of doctor won't give you a note, seriously?

I'm only 20 but went in for a colonoscopy just to be sure that all was okay bowel/gut wise. I'm lactose intolerant and thought I might also have IBS as I cramp a lot in the abdominal region regardless of what I eat. I'm also in the restroom more than a few times daily which I felt wasn't quite normal. But all was fine and nothing was found to be of any concern. You must take into account the nature of this office as a walk-in- clinic. There are priorities of seeing more acute patients first. Some have to wait. They are kind, compassionate and caring. They respect and listen to you. Since they are a walk-in, they may be limited in their orders. They are open and honest. Just what is expected. I will never hesitate to go there. You shouldn't either. There is a horrible virus going around which we contracted from an ill family member. He acquired at a hospital and brought it home. We are all very ill. I thank all the staff. Everyone protect yourself from anyone coughing. It might start as a cold. It is not in standard flu sets.

Besides my initial visit I needed to come in for an upper respiratory infection. I called late in the afternoon and the receptionist actually got me in early the next morning. The location is so relaxed and patient friendly on hand were snacks, beverages and a large screen tv. Did I mention the fireplace?? I was seen in a rather short time by Dr. Pederson who was extremely patient and attentive. He listened to me and what complaints I was feeling and he took the time to consider my thoughts before he or should I say we took as a course of action. I never felt rushed, I felt like I was heard and I was part of the process in what medical solution that was chosen. I had two other interactions regarding the refilling of prescriptions. I actually requested a prescription on a weekend online on Highland Health's app and wouldn't you know it within a few hours my prescription had been ordered at my pharmacy. I had another prescription that I called into the office and again within hours it was already ordered at the pharmacy. I feel so comfortable and satisfied in my experiences with Dr. Pederson and his friendly caring staff.

He's been great and helping my mom navigate some medical issues that she's gotten as she's gotten older. A few years back, she was in a bad accident too and had to go into a rehab center, and they even came by a few times to just check in with her. The office staff and front desk are welcoming and helpful, answering questions. And the nurses are absolutely the friendliest. The office itself is clean, very patient-friendly, and easy to navigate. Another bonus is they have onsite blood work - phlebotomist Dale is super great!
