Do not go to Guidewell, if they call an ambulance without your permission you are responsible for paying the bill ! I have gone to them concerning my bill of $980.55 and they said they would take care of it. that has not happened and here I am trying to find out why they think it was not medically necessary. My husband was with me, he could have driven me to the ER. I ended up in the hospital for four days !!! No matter how much I like the doctors there, I will never go there again. If I could leave less than one star I would. I took my son to guidewell emergency doctor They billed my insurance company (code 99204 )for $1258.00 for a new patient office visit They charged me $154.00 for my co pay and my insurance adjustment was $611.00 Now the expect me to cover the balance of $ 493.00 After the fact I asked how much would it have been for a no insurance patient I was told $109.00 This seems unreasonable for the large monetary disparity. The only person I can talk to about it is a third party billing company. Who told me they can't do anything. read more

When my husband & I were diagnosed with Covid, our doctor insisted that we get monoclonal antibodies. We could not find a facility with infusion appointments, until we happened onto the Guidewell site. We were both able to book appointments within in two days. I can't say enough good about this facility or the staff here! Everything was immaculately clean & everything was handled very safely. I would love to mention each staff member by name but the fact is, EVERYONE, from start to finish was wonderful! The check-in process was pleasant & easy. The nurses & Dr Snyder were top notch! We have been here twice and both times great care. CRNP Kathleen Garnett, and Dawn were fantastic. All of the staff very friendly and helpful with every patient, I pay attention to those things and was impressed with the staff's genuine effort to be helpful. I have been through a lot this year with my health, very serious issues and I wish all of the medical people that I have had to deal with this year were as kind and generous with their time as the professionals here have been. Not a good experience. Rude office. Didn't see a dr. She was a pa. I have chronic bronchitis usually twice a year. My dr office was closed so I went here because my primary dr recommended them. They try to do Covid test But since I'd already done that at home, I didn't want that. They also want to do a flu test and I know I didn't have the flu because I know what this is. And because I would not allow them to do a chest x-ray because I only had one eight months ago the PA would not give me an anabiotic so it was a waste of time now I have to wait until my doctors office opens tomorrow read more

Plenty of parking. Staff is friendly. Their insurance billing is horrific. Not sure if I would return because of the billing issues they have. read more

My mother and I both have visited this place when we were not well. The staff are friendly and they were very helpful. I don't get medical help very often so It's hard for me to compare this to many places. I have had urgent care in the past and this place is better than those facilities. read more

THE best Urgent care I've ever been to. Fast! Efficient, reasonable cost compared to the ER or even cash pay with a doctor. Excellent model of care. My eye infection was treated and is resolving. I would give ten stars if I had that option. read more

My son was misdiagnosed. We took him on a Sunday for ear pain. I had a suspicion it was swimmer's ear but the doctor came in asking about his sore throat. My son said it's my left ear, not my throat. The dr. looked at his ear and said it was a little red. He dismissed my question about it being a swimmer's ear even though I also mentioned he had been swimming the day before. Looked at his throat and said, it's not red. Said to treat symptoms with decongestant and Advil. As the day progressed his ear pain got worse so I scheduled an appointment with our pediatrician for today who said it was a classic case of swimmer's ear and prescribed a steroid ear drop. I doubt we'll be back which is a shame because with our insurance there was no co-pay. read more

I had just moved to Florida and had suffered an injury to 2 fingers prior to the move. I made an appointment to get the fingers checked at Guidewell emergency in Palm Harbor. They provided excellent care and were available right away, I highly recommend Guidewell emergency. read more
