Whenever we have any issue at all, CiCi is quick to get someone to respond to us so the problem is resolved quickly. Even when something may not be handled right away, she informs us of the status so we know when we can expect it to be resolved. When something is more urgent, it's taken care of swiftly. For example, on a Friday night when our oven went out, CiCi communicated with us over the weekend and we agreed that we would wait for the owner to provide a new stove/oven. That only took about a week and then the owner came to supervise the installation of the new stove/oven. Both CiCi and the homeowner agreed it would be better to put in something new versus trying to fix the old - it's rare that you see that in renting, so we really appreciated them looking at was the best long-term solution, rather than a quick fix. I rented two apartments from timely properties over the course of two years and had many issues…read morewith them. Both units ended up getting mold, the first being black mold that ruined my bed and mattress. All timely did was offer a dehumidifier. The second apartment did not have a working water heater for the first 7 months of my stay due to them installing a new water heater that did not have the proper wattage, and not getting a permit from the city. Nothing was done to compensate me for their mistake. The toilet in the unit also did not have a wax ring for the first 8 months of me living there and was only discovered when there was a leak. When I gave proper notice and vacated the second unit they did not get my security deposit back to me for 6 1/2 weeks. They also constantly spelled my name wrong in interactions despite me correcting them several times. I never felt any kindness or empathy from the staff in my many interactions with them. The only reason for 2 stars is due to the somewhat affordable rent, and simple maintenance requests being fixed. Avoid renting from them if you can.

Their trustworthiness and integrity are not often found in the property management business. They take care of everything once you set up certain parameters at the outset. This company came highly recommended by a neighbor and I had a very pleasant phone call with Vera two weeks ago. We were ready to sign a contract so they could rent our townhome until I reached out tonight with questions. See the email interaction below. Hi Vera, Thank you for sending a copy of the contract. We have a few questions. We would like to keep the condo on the market for sale but would also like to list it for rent. From my understanding, we can pull the sale listing once the renter's application is approved. Is it possible to ask the potential renter if they would be willing to do a six month lease and then go to a month to month lease? What about utilities? Do we pay for water and trash and the renter covers electricity and cable/internet? Vera's Response: Hello It appears you are thinking about renting for a short term and then putting the unit back on the market. Unfortunately, we do not take on short term rentals. For tenants, the work and cost of moving is exhausting and expensive. Placement - advertising, answering inquiries, showing the unit, screening tenants, creating a lease, moving in a new tenant - is the most time intensive part of our business. I believe there are other property management companies in our area willing to take on short term rentals. Best wishes My Response: Hi Vera, I was simply asking for information so we can make an informed decision. I explained to you when we spoke that we would prefer to sell, but the market is not cooperating therefore, we are open to the idea of renting. We are still open to the idea of renting the unit for a year or possibly two, depending on the market. However, since you could not just answer my questions, made assumptions, and felt the need to try to shame me with your response, we will find another company. You don't have the right temperment to work with me. Luckily, we found this out before we signed a contract. I will also be sure to pass my experience along in a review. Good luck and try taking a breath next time before answering an email.
