It looks like doing business with Brian Raleigh will cost me for the rest of my life. I was put…read moreinto an annuity without being told the entire story. I was told that it would protect my money. I was not told that it wasn't my money and what it would cost to use any of it. However, that is not why I am writing today. This practice is common and not worth the time to write. I am writing because after Brian's firm got my money I was cut off and this has put me in a position where I will never make up the loses and well into my retirement I am still paying out, not getting back I was old enough to take money out without IRS penalties and needed some money. I called the office to ask Brian about it. He had always been so nice before he had my money. I was told that I couldn't talk to him I had to go to the annuity company and did so. That is when I learned about the annuity penalties. That was bad enough, but a few years later I learned that I could have gotten the money in a way that didn't cost penalties. If Brian had spent 10 minutes talking to me, he could have steered me in a different direction. But he wouldn't do it. I not only lost that money, but because I had no advice, I got a lot of extra taxes, both federal and state. If Brian had talked to me those could have been avoided. If Brian had spent 10 minutes talking to me, that could have been avoided. A while ago I wrote him a letter, it wasn't going to change the situation, but I wanted him to know. I paid to have it sent registered, signature required. I told him the whole story in more detail. Brian Raleigh, ignored that and I have the receipt that he got the letter. He used to have a radio show, may still have it, and it makes him look like a big expert. Do know that that is just paid advertising. I have lost all my money and more, thanks to Brian Raleigh's not giving me 10 minutes and a bit of advice. But he had all my money by then so I can only guess that he was no longer interested.

In the first…read moreyear of business my interest rate went from 4.5% to 11.25% which doubled my initial loan payment. I reached out to the SBA officer for the bank for help. There was no help offered. I even tried to utilize the property with a different business model and was turned down because the property would have to be rezoned. Within 2 years I defaulted on the loan. They auctioned off an $800,000.00 piece of property for $362,000.00 instead of putting it on the market to possibly get a much better price. My home(which was paid for) was also collateral. They foreclosed on my home and actually declined offers from my family members to purchase the home for a fair price. I have worked hard all my life and served my country in the US Army. So much for my American dream. I lost everything. Beware!!!! They have no empathy or desire to do what's right for their customers. Shameful way to do business.

They are knowledgeable and so helpful. They go above and beyond each and every time even asking me about my family. I am also a member at a local credit union but the attention these great ladies show doesnt compare. You immediately see the warmth and hometown difference when using a smaller, local bank rather than some of the larger, name brand banks. Thank you all for your kindness and consistency and most of all your great customer service!!!

First and foremost, I have to thank yelp for helping me find Sandi and Hello Seacoast in the first…read moreplace. Secondly, I want to thank Sandi for being so supportive and taking the time to learn about our situation. My dad has a lot on his plate, but I am learning that there are multiple ways to support full-time family caregivers so they can find balance in their own lives despite the 24/7 responsibility. One of the challenges I see from the outside is a lack of time to get household chores done, enjoying hobbies, or even ongoing projects that are on hold 'until I have time'. I also have adopted the procrastinators mantra- why put off what you can do tomorrow until the day after tomorrow!!! -mark twain So, needless to say, over time, accumulation of stuff and piles is likely inevitable. My dad said working with Sandi changed his life, and from his daughter who lives halfway across the world, to witness the transformation has been humbling and a relief. Over the years of going back to visit, I have not been able to figure out a process, there's never enough time! And this is coming from a profession where my duties are in project management and require organization! When he admitted he could never have done it alone because it had become so overwhelming was a surprise. He said being able to breathe easier, feel like the space is open and welcoming, gives room for creativity and growth rather than stress and negative self- view. The space that was cleared is now nicknamed 'the sanctuary' and is the most peaceful place in the house. Manageable amounts of time for the sessions themselves and multiple sessions allowed him to get into a routine and I saw him wanting and looking forward to her help. It has showed me that there is vision and skill involved from an outside perspective which is virtually impossible with family members. We are all in need of support with these demanding lives we lead. He is so motivated to keep going with all the other spots he works in!!! What growth it showed that my dad was open to the guidance and transformation!
