Kent Thompson added my personal…read moreinformation to their database without my permission after connecting with me on LinkedIn (using information that he obtained through combining dissociated public records and then combined in one easily hacked database) and has repeatedly refused to remove my personal information after repeated requests to do so. Emails sent directly to Capitol Financial Solutions and their Compliance representative (who no longer appears on their site) have remained unanswered. If this is how they treat an individual's personal information when they're trying to win business, I certainly wouldn't trust them with financial information--especially advice. By tax season, he had forgotten everything and wrongly accused me of not actually starting my business. His errors nearly cost me $30K--had I not sought a second opinion, which led to a refund. When I pointed it out, his firm blamed me for providing "nonstandard income documents"--even though I gave him exactly what he requested. Throughout the process, he treated me with mistrust and skepticism about my income level. The experience was frustrating and disheartening. Beware.

I was so impressed with her professionalism and how genuinely nice she was. It took about 3 weeks for preparation but given the complexity of my taxes I was ok with the time. Cindy stayed in regular contact with status updates and even followed up quickly when there were items that needed clarification. I will definitely use Elite again and I hope to work with Cindy!!!
