Real Property Management Triad

After trying to sell our home through the fall with little to no notice, we contacted RPM and spoke…read morewith Pam McGinnis about RPM managing the condo as a rental. Within ten days they have a client moving into what had been a huge black hole on our budget. Their prep work was extraordinary; their photos brought out the work we'd put into getting it ready after an earlier renter (a former friend) had trashed the place and now we have the condo is a positive influence on our budget. If you have property in the Triad area, give these folks a call today!

My sister had an awful experience with Real Property Management of the Triad. Her HVAC stopped…read moreworking in early August and was not fully repaired until mid-September. During that time, the home reached over 95 degrees, her teenage daughter passed out twice, and the HVAC flooded part of the home. She was only given a $250 credit even though her rent is about $1,300 a month. We were also told that repair delays can depend on the property owner's approval and financial circumstances, which was extremely concerning considering the seriousness of the issue. More recently, a plumbing blockage caused the toilets to overflow and sewage to back up into the bathtub. Emergency maintenance was unavailable, and the family was left without a usable bathroom until the next day. These were not minor maintenance issues. I would strongly recommend asking detailed questions about emergency repairs, response times, and repair approvals before renting through this company.

This bank has difficulty remembering that without their customers they would not be in business…read more We have been with this bank for 25 years and through the years we have watched amazing managers and staff leave and be replaced by some very rude and arrogant people. They do not respect privacy by leaving office doors open allowing everyone to hear other customers business. We went to deposit a large closing check drawn on Truist into our account and withdraw funds. The response was, what are you going to use the money for, with a jack o lantern smirk. When we told him what we use the money for was none of his business, it put a bigger smirk on his face. He went into a big speech as to why they do it. Finally, I told him I have stage 4 cancer and if I wanted to give it all away it was none of their business. I was then told it would take 2 weeks to clear and 3 weeks to be able to draw from. When we told him it was unexceptable he said we would have better luck at Truist with a smirk. I asked him if he thought this was funny. Jason of the Oak Ridge office snickered. At that point, we decided to leave the arrogance and insulting abuse. We went to Truist, who treated us with the utmost respect. Our funds will be available in 2weeks. In conclusion, the Bank of Oak Ridge is a very small fish appearing to struggle in today's world. We have decided to move to a national bank.
