This place may be the hidden gem I'm glad I stumbled upon. Quick and easy ordering off a touch pad, the food came out within 2-3 minutes. What was so reassuring to hear was another customer who happened to be finishing their meal spoke to our group giving his recommendations, but ultimately saying there isn't one thing on the menu that they hated. And they were not wrong. Something that looks so simple packed so much flavor. The paratha bread was flaky but also had this depth to it and paired with the house made Kolachi sauce and tender chicken, I'd be lying if I said I didn't go back and order 2 more right there. Highly recommend, small little spot, so not much seating, but easy to grab on the go! Will be back soon!

4.5 I would think this is Pakistan's version of Kati Roll? It was very tasty and even better with the Kolachi sauce. The wrap was little flaky which was unexpected. It was good (means more butter) but made it little harder to eat as the pieces are easier to fall down. Yummy regardless!

I was so excited to try this little Pakistani hole in the wall dishing out my favorite Pakistani street snack, the undefeated and highly addictive paratha roll. This space is small but airy with just enough seating for you to enjoy your order and keep it pushing through your day. The menu is just the perfect length and I found the prices to be very reasonable. I ordered the beef roll and the garlic mayo spicy chicken rolls, both of which are reminiscent of traditional Pakistani flavors for me. First off I do like the size of these rolls they're not too big and you can eat multiples of them. The beef roll has very little meat in it which was disappointing, the breading was overwhelming. Speaking of the breading aka the paratha itself - this is way too greasy and deep fried, and hard and flaky in texture which is off putting. A paratha roll should be soft and pliable and not deep fried. I also think the beef roll could use more chutney like green sauce and imli sauce and a lot more meat for sure. The chicken roll was slightly better in terms of meat to bread ratio but the spiciness never came through. If they dont want to make rolls too spicy there should at least be spicy sauces available on the side. I think this place definitely needs to improve some things before I decide to visit again. Even though the product is ok tasting, it is far from excellent.

Pakistani food is underrated in general. This is a great fast casual spot in NYC to try the cuisine at an affordable cost. Whatever you do, be sure to get the fries and dip them in maple syrup. The staff is super helpful for those who may be unsure about where to start their selection of paratha rolls. Accompanied by great music and good vibes, it's worth checking out!

I really did enjoy the service they were very friendly and their rolls were really good my favorite was the beef and their fries dip have spice to them! Definitely worth a quick bite and try, grab their syrup drip to lighten the heat from the fries!! Their Chai latte was okay too

Tiny space with only a few menu items. We got the Chicken Garlic Mayo Roll and the Beef Roll. Both were savory and mayo-packed rolls, although quite oily and excessively flakey. The roll portion sizes could have been a bit larger for the price. The chicken was bitter for some reason--unenjoyable. The beef was delicious!

I'm such a big fan! Came here after dinner nearby and this was actually the perfect dinner snack. We ordered a beef roll and the fact that it was only $6.50 made me so happy. The rolls were also delicious, dare I say it kind of reminded me of an eggroll but with Pakistani flavor? The cumin and curry sauce covering the steaming and the crispy eggroll was absolutely delicious. Also I loved the tender beef inside as well. I could easily eat 3 of these and call it dinner. Overall, so happy I found this gem of a place in East Village and I can't recommend it more!

Listen. Kolachi brought my husband and I back to 1998. We were put in a time machine to our childhood. The menu is so simple, the concept is so simple and yet the impact is so profound. We got the spicy chicken roll which we preferred over the beef roll simply because we liked the kick to the spicy chicken roll. Would love to try the diesel fries and chai next time. Excellent stuff - check it out!

I'll be completely honest with you. I like to consider myself a diverse person, but despite that l'll be the first to admit that l've never tried Pakistani food. I didn'teven know what a Paratha Roll was until today. (It's kinda like a Shawarma, but it's a flatbread that's wrapped around beef, chicken, or vegetarian deliciousness.) I had the two meat options and if you asked me which was better, I honestly couldn't tell you. The rolls werewell seasoned as were the fries . And the place itself was simple and clean Sometimes it's the hidden gems or places you just stumble upon that have the best food!

Ring the bell if you walk in and there's no one at the counter. They make the food poorer and if there's one staff member he's usually right behind the wall in the kitchen. During the day it's slower so you may get a seat at the counter. This used to be a late night spot and opened late evenings but now the hours have extended to lunch . The paratas are filled with chicken, spicy or regular and beef. Vegetarian option available. This is the perfect hand held grab and go light meal. Definitely get the fries ,they somehow remind me of deviled eggs ,(weird comparison but you'll see). Whatever potato they use is perfection- fluffy and mealy at the same time. Then dusted in spices. Sauce opinions include the signature Kolachi sauce, maple syrup and lemon garlic. They also give you ketchup packets but I'd personally use their sauces . They have hot chairs which was okay not the best but on a cold day/night it hits the spot. The flavorful food here is thebhigh point. This place gets super crowded at night,it's a hot spot for after parties/clubs goers. 5 stools and counter space , no bathroom , accessible entrance.

This was such a great snack to grab in the middle of a busy day. Still thinking about the chicken roll days later. I like that the menu is simple so you don't have to decide between much but it would be great if they added another drink like iced chai. For those who are used to indian / Calcutta style Kathi rolls, these rolls are similar but they are less spicy and less greasy (so unlikely to give you a tummy ache later!). They still pack a punch in terms of flavor so will definitely be back here for more soon!

Kolachi's menu is tiny but mighty. One of the best things I have ever eaten. It's budget friendly and great for a quick lunch on the go. The space is bright with limited seating. You can either order with someone or use the self serve kiosk. Either way the food comes out fast and piping hot.

Crispy, salty, TASTY. And the burgers are CHEAP by NYC standards. So anyway, I'm sold and this burger place is on my list now.
