We decided on kolache factory for Saturday breakfast. I ordered the sausage kolache. The sausage was very good and had a lot of flavor. The dough was light and fluffy and was also very good. Will definitely be back

Pepperoni Kolache with little to none of this so called Pepperoni!!

To be Frank, i only come to this place for the pizza kolache. In the past this place used to serve a decent amount of pepperoni with cheese. Nowadays you'll be lucky if a staff member who's making them puts enough pepperoni. I left a picture of what they're doing nowadays which is horrible.. especially for the cost per each one smh!

I ordered a potato and egg Kolache. It was filled pretty good. The bread is a little bit on the sweet side and I kind of liked it .

Kolache where have you been all my life ?! Lol We visited on Veterans Day for the first time and received one free with military ID. I inquired which was the most popular... drum roll.... BBQ brisket! BBQ brisket it was, and he warmed them up for us. Omg deelish! Warm, soft , slightly sweet bread generously filled with BBQ brisket. The perfect size. Looking at the menu, there are a variety of items to choose from - sweet and savory. We will def be back to order dinner rolls and kolaches for Thanksgiving ! Thank you

Mmmmm, soft, delicious kolache goodness! Even though you're far apart, you're always in my heart! Kolaches are a staple of love and care and when you find a place like this, hold on to it until the end. When I walked inside it was very welcoming and the cashier greeted me as I came in. A plus. Super plus for having a drive thru! Besides Shipley's, I don't know of a kolache spot with a drive thru so if you don't want to go in, there's your option. But I think you'd like to come in because the ambiance is calm, relaxing music. It's clean and has a great interior design. I just took a sip of the frozen hot chocolate and i said, "oh wow" out loud. Why? Because of the powerful punch of chocolate hitting the flavor fan of my mouth. This is so decadent and delicious! It's hard putting places out here like this because I don't want it to become so crowded that I don't want to frequent it but at the same time, I want the love to pour out the roof for high quality places like this! I want to tell everyone AND keep it a secret! The conundrum is real! I already know the other kolaches will be a treat. I bought and assortment: cheery and strawberry kolaches, bbq beef brisket, Philly cheese and chicken enchilada.

I've driven by over the years and have been intrigued. I love kolaches. And was hoping that the variety provided here would hit the spot. The service was lackluster, at best. We went right when they opened and the girls at the front seemed bored. I was excited to try this place out- I was hoping from some recommendations, at the very minimum some energy. Blah. They didn't seem to be fully stocked, despite just opening and the whole time I stood there, I tracked a fly flying all around the exposed kolaches. The kolaches weren't anything amazing. My son threw his in the trash. We got the basic sausage, cheese and jalapeño. A sausage plain. A sausage and cheese. And an apple. Neither were that great, in fact my tummy hurts 7 hours later. I wouldn't waste my time or money to go back.

I've passed by this place daily and haven't stopped by until now! If you ever get the chance, COME TRY THIS PLACE OUT! I am so happy I got to get a few of their kolache's!! I can't say how the dining area is because I did drive through, but drive through was quick!! Prices were fairly decent as well, around a buck and change to two bucks and change, not terrible at all!! We've never had a kolache before, so we figured why not?! If you don't know what a kolache is, it is a roll stuffed with whatever filling the store has to offer. I learned that there are many different styles of kolaches, but the ones here looked like a warm palm sized dough stuffed with yummy goodness! My husband and I got the chicken enchilada, 2 of the sausage and gravy, ham and cheese, sausage cheese and jalapeno and spicy Italian chicken. I honestly loved the sausage cheese and jalapeno because it was cheesy, had quite a bit of spiciness to it and had bite sized pieces of sausage. My husband LOVED the sausage and gravy. He's from the PNW in a small town so he said the sausage and gravy reminded him of home. I feel like all of the kolaches we got were great! All in all, for sure we are going to come back here to try different ones! Plus, if you check in on YELP, you get a free kolache!!

Kolache Factory - temporarily closed due to fire damage. This is unfortunate and we wish this location a speedy recovery.

This locations appear to temporarily closed due to fire damage . Sunday morning and crew are actively working! Excited to go back when the time is right.

Now these are the kolaches that I have been looking for!!!!!!! These are authentic Kolaches that are much more Czech than the ones you find at most doughnut shops in San Antonio. The savory kolaches is where it is at here! I choose the sausage jalapeño & cheese and the sausage & gravy kholaches. Sweet rolls on the outside and delicious filling on the inside. You aren't going to find a better way to put a smile on your face in the morning. The sweet kolaches weren't as mouth watering as the savory ones but not bad. A lot of different fruit flavors and cream cheese as well. Plus a mix of cinnamon rolls and Strudel. I'm a fan of this Czech chain of Kolaches. Free the Kolaches from these hot dog mockeries made all over Texas ;)

THE LOCATION: in a bustling and popular shopping center with tons of parking, and other fun businesses, right off the 1604 in the Alamo Ranch area. I have no idea what to expect so I just burst thru the doors like I owned the joint ready to embrace something new. THE MENU: aside from some lovely beverages, the dessert offerings are pretty straightforward. CHEESECAKE!!! And in the best possible, gourmet, decadent way. My eyes were popping out of my head! THE SERVICE: Lucky for me, a very patient gentleman behind the counter was available to assist me during a lull. I'm very grateful for the time he took to answer all my questions. THE GOODS: I knew I wanted cheesecake tonight, but after watching those sweet treats watching me right back through a shield of glass, I understood that I NEEDED cheesecake, and stat! While there were sooo many flavors available in the jars, I wanted to eat cheesecake the traditional way; with a fork to slowly dissect and discover the flavors and texture of each layer. By all appearances, these treats are not your average cheesecake and I'm so intrigued. I choose one slice of each flavor available. At $9 per slice, I'm lucky there were only 3 flavors at this hour. Lol! The jars, btw, are $7 each. Now, I had to ask what ingredients were in each flavor becs there is no written description anywhere in the store. The names do no justice in identifying what you're getting either. Names like "Summer Daze" and "Midnight Berry" leave much to the imagination. Sure, you can see chocolate and/or raspberries, but believe me... you don't really know what treasure you've got until it's melting on your tongue. I can't get home quick enough to meet up with the hubby again. Yayyyyyy! Dessert!!! THE TASTES: Heaven. Nirvana. Jack standing at the bow, arms stretched wide shouting, "I'm the king of the world!" That. That's what it's like. And I literally dissected and analyzed each lovely layer, mostly fluffy, decadent mousse, creamy, cheesy and rich. The crust bottoms. Holy smokes! I actually avoid graham cracker crusts but not this one. A-MAZING. Another slice had a crisp shortbread-like crust. Like, WHO DOES THAT?! Omg. I gorged until I regretted rushing in. Total amateur move. I also secretly selected 2 of the 3 slices that I knew my hubby would turn his nose up to. HAHAHAHAHA! Joke's on him. Trust me. Seriously, trust me. If you love cheesecake, mousse, fresh and tart fruit flavors (like fresh fruits and lemon curd!), give a slice or jar a try. And try a lovely match drink, too. Maybe I'll see you there!
