Scotty has been doing my lawn for about a year now. In the past I had checked into lawn care and land scrapers to do some small jobs on my small property. I hadn't had much luck getting anyone to respond on Yelp. My prior Gardener just disappeared during the start of covid lockdowns. I was stuck inside myself, and by the time I could go outside I had a jungle of a few weeks. This time I was blessed because Scotty was actively looking to grow his business and responded. I couldn't have been more pleased. He was so careful with Covid guidelines and positive and willing to help me. Scotty has been a blessing. He has helped me keep my property in good shape all through the Covid year while I was overwhelmed with work. He even did an extra job planting some sod in the front of my house for me. I always look forward to his visit because he takes pride in his work. He will happily send you photos with a before and after if that will help you. He is open to doing additional small or large tasks for a fee and tries to fit you in his schedule to the best of his ability. My neighbors saw that he does a good job taking care of my property, and they asked for his business too. I would say that speaks highly of him. After my previous gardener of 18+ years moved in July, I started calling around to get quotes for basic front/backyard mow and edge & some trimming of a palm & bush in the front. Received quotes nearly double the amount I was previously paying without even coming out to look at my yard because their quotes were a "monthly flat rate". Called Kokonut lawn care for a quote to cut my lawn & trim a couple of my bushes. I spoke with Scott he then came out and gave me a quote for monthly maintenance. I asked him if he could start the same day and He said yes. So he did and After he was done with my lawn & bushes he even did extra for me. First visit today from Skotty. Let me start by saying our grass is horrible, it is spotty,has two different types of grass and does not grow well. All the concrete work was a mess when we moved in definitely not very pleasing to look at. Their was a lot of clean up to get done since the yard has been neglected for the last three months, between a sick elderly parent and four children to care for and housework(moms i know you are feeling me on this one) i barely have time for anything else. The yard looks WAAY BETTER Skotty stayed for hours to make sure all the leaves(a ton of leaves near the gate)all the weeds on both sides of the house were done and i only asked about one side of the house being done because it was like a jungle of weeds but he did both sides...pretty awesome. If you want someone who will come in and take the time, who is nice, polite and easy to talk to and makes sure to communicate well with you on ur lawn needs then Skotty is a good choice! My lawn was overgrown and most importantly covered in weeds. I asked about a quote to do the front yard for a one time fee and ended up seeing my front yard the best it's ever looked. He pulled and cut the weeds in between our bricks . Absolutely loved the way the front yard looked and asked him to come back. He even made time to do our back yard while he was here. I have rarely met someone with such a great attitude and the love for one's job that Skotty displays. Our front and backyard was overrun with weeds after all the recent rain and we needed them cleaned out ASAP.
