I got Scott's information from a neighbor because I was new to the neighborhood…read more First day on the job, he put up one side of the railing crooked and left for the day. I was scratching my head when I saw that, as in, how did that ever happened? Didn't he have the basic tool, like a level? His partner even said he had told him it was not straight. The next day he came back to fix it, but I already had a bad feeling about that. Long story short, a couple of months later, one of the balusters fell off to the ground. It was then that I realized he was using screws to tighten ONLY 1/3 of the balusters, he was using skinny nails for the rest. The balusters warped and moved because of exposure to the outdoor elements and popped out. We had to get replacements to fix the issue. I got 10 and I used them all, because more of them fell off or became warped. Then yesterday afternoon, I was just slightly leaning on one side of the railing and it shifted under my 125 lbs weight. I immediately contacted Scott. He read the message for sure, but he hasn't replied. My recommendation: do not use SJS handyman at all cost. It took him and his partner "5 days" to finished the job, because for a couple of days he would leave for late lunches and didn't come back. He even walked off middle of the job one day because of a heated argument with his partner. He's very unprofessional and without my knowledge, used some of the 20 year old existing wood added to the new deck.

Kelly Manring dba Circle Sewer Service is not only professional with decades of experience he is…read morehonest and very reasonable priced. We called him out after Tiger told us it would be $12,000 to redo our sewer lines and rotorooter told us we had mud in our lines which would be more money to run cameras before we could get a bid. Mr. Manring came out inspected the cast iron pipes, suggested we replace with plastic only to where damage was in the line and install an outside clean out so if we ever had a blockage again the service tech wouldn't have to come through the house and possibly damage my new basement carpet. He did everything for $2000 and it passed inspection immediately. Another person on here talks about how horrible he was and how everything was installed wrong, there has to be more to the story or he would not be in business for over 35 years. Don't rely on me or another post. Call him out for your issue and see for yourself the kind of businessman he is and his quality work.

Would not return my messages asking when he was returning. Let sewage run above ground in trench for 2 days. Put septic in ground too high so had to drill a lower inlet hole to match up with pipes from house so now it sits very high above ground. His reply to my concern about this was , don't worry- I will grade your whole yard to make it look good if I have to. We had someone come to our house and they called from the driveway to make sure they were at the correct location because he said he thought it was a vacant house from all the mess. Kelly left large piles of dirt on ground not dug on. Left pile of rock covering half of driveway so had to drive on grass to go up it. He would not give us any return dates info. We Didn't know if he was even coming back. He did business under Circle Sewer but would only accept down pay and final pay in his personal name, Kelly Manning. Sept 7th he requested final pay. I questioned his work and asked if govt inspection passed. He said yes, all done and good. I was stupid and paid him even tho I was not satisfied with his work, ethics, or communication. I called Madison county planning and development on sept 10th and was told the inspection was not completed yet. It has been a big mess and concern since day one. It is sept 20th and I am still in same situation.

Two men came the same day I called and determined the problem quickly and resolved the situation thoroughly. They could have performed all sorts of activities to run up a bill and taken advantage like others have done. I would have not been the wiser. The issue was simple. The bill reflected it's simple solution with a service call fee. They even cleaned up some of the iron shaving that came from the under the concrete pipe that caused the backup to occur. I could NOT be happier to give this company the highest rating and give them the highest accolades possible. I would NOT hesitate to call Red's Sewer Service and would encourage you to do the same. NO ONE likes to overpay and be taken advantage of by a service company!!!
