Kohls is the best of the big box department stores...hands down!! The stores are always clean, properly managed, and welcoming when you walk in. The shelves are plentiful and consistently being organized to keep the store's appearance orderly--unlike some other stores. The rewards program they have is awesome, join their mailing list for 10-30% off your purchase and then you also get $10-20 Kohls Cash. Lastly, their staff is professional, friendly and very helpful. All I did was try an return my Amazon items as set up on the phone. There were 2 tellers a young black girl, and an older large loud lazy teller. She spoke to me like trash! Lazy! Ignorant! I'm a combat vet w PTSD I was almost triggered. Had it been a man? OMG. I told the manager and she calmy explained some items ups will pick up. She showed me how. Took 10 seconds. I'm disappointed you employ someone w that temperament. Laughing at me? When I asked a random cashier for a manager she knew why and the ladies name. Ignorant trash! I've been shopping here for over a decade and the customer service has sunken lower and lower in recent years. I did an Amazon return today and I got kohls cash. I figured I would go ahead and use it or lose it. I was a card holder for years also until I was charged late fees for two months over a mistaken charge of under a dollar. It took me forever to get it straight and once I did I closed the account immediately. Either way back to this hot mess. I got my daughter a shirt and a pair of pants for school. The young man working the register had absolutely no customer service etiquette. So basically as a customer I had to greet him. He rings up my items and tells me my total is over $85. The pants were on sale for around $34 the shirt was $16.99 and I had $5 kohl's cash. So I said how much did you say and he repeated it. I said no that's wrong and he shakes his head no. I said yes, you over charged me, he said no. I said yeah you did this shirt and pants are not $85. So he looks at me like I'm crazy again as if I'm the one who doesn't know what I'm talking about. I said you need to check your screen because your wrong and guess what!!!!!! He charged me twice for the pants. Now I take no issue with the mistake itself because things happen. My problem is his ignorance and disrespect. Now because I also have a customer service background I'm not going to be unreasonable and say the customer is always right, but before you decide to insult your customers intelligence you need to make sure you are not in the wrong. His behavior was so ignorant I decided I wasn't even going to spend my money there. I started to leave and then I went back and asked for his manger. Her name was Marlene and she wasn't much better. She was looking at me like a deer caught in headlights making excuses. She lacked effective listening or authority. I can see why her staff thinks it's ok to be unprofessional. She was ready to just ring me up to get me on my way with out even addressing the behavior of her employee. I didn't request a manager to ring me up I requested a manager to deal with the fact that I was about to be over charged close to $35 with out a care in the world and I had to go back and forth with the person doing it as if I was the one trying to get over. There's definitely a reason why I stopped shopping here and if it wasn't for Amazon I definitely wouldn't of been there today. Buyer Beware! read more

The staff was extremely friendly ans greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. It was about 10 minutes before closing. The store looked clean and zoned well. The parking lot was also very clean... Considering it was right next door to a Home Depot. The amount of money I saved was greater than the amount I paid... Which is a win in my book! read more

K. Yeah, I know I said I would never be back to this location. But I have, many times. Surprisingly, it's like a brand new store. I don't know if my last review had anything to do with that, probably not, lol but I'm glad they have corrected their short comings. I've had attentive service at the Jewelry counter, personal help in the beauty dept (HELLO LORAC AND PUR! I was also the beauty dept supervisor when I worked Kohl's and I WISH they had those brands when I worked there! It's really beautiful, and the beauty dept is kept really nice and clean, even on busy Saturday's.) I've been greeted while shopping in other depts and asked if I needed help. The dressing rooms are always clean and free of hangers and loose clothes. The sales/clearance racks are actually shoppable now. Easy to navigate without tripping over anything and plenty of room between racks. They re-designed the area and it just works much better now. The only problem that hasn't been corrected is that clothes are forever on the wrong hangers, still. (a size Large shirt is on a size small hanger, etc.) Which is extremely annoying and it CAN be fixed, you just have to get your supervisors to really start paying attention. Also, I took a men's croft and barrow sport jacket/blazer to customer service bc it was on the clearance rack but did not have a price tag on it anywhere so that I could find out the price. It was a really nice jacket. They told me the clearance price, but wouldn't give me a discount bc it was damaged and said that was why it was on clearance. Unfortunately, that is not Kohl's policy. The policy is to damage out any damaged merchandise, NOT to put damaged merchandise back on the floor for sale. If something is damaged the customer can get a discount. I've done it a thousand times, and been told by the E3 to do it a thousand times. (The croft and barrow label on the outside of the jacket on the bottom of the sleeve was ripped and hanging off.... it can be fixed, but it's still damaged.) I still bought it bc it looks fantastic on my hubby, but it should have been at discounted price. :/ But I've noticed LOTS of damaged clothes on the sales rack. You really have to be careful and look the clothes over to make sure they don't have rips or tears in them, especially misses sweaters. It happens, and lots of times the employees just don't notice it. It's hard to notice those things though, it's honestly not even their fault. The reason I had to take the jacket to customer service was because ALL of the price checkers are broken. I think one of them was working in housewares, but the line was like 4 people deep trying to scan 10 things. Nope. Another thing I've noticed, and it honestly has nothing to do with this store and more of a corporate thing.... Is that the regular prices have sky-rocketed. CRAZY expensive for things, so that they can mark it down to the sale price. Which means even the sale prices are over-priced now, even the clearance prices have gone up. Some things, most things... just aren't worth it. There are still deals to be had, but it's getting a little ridiculous. So does the store still have some short comings? Yes. But it's night and day better than it was 2 years ago. I actually have pleasant shopping trips there now. Maybe it will continue to improve and I can update this review again. :) read more

This is not kind of place to shop, took my mom here, sometimes you'll find cheap little beat around tee's to wear, nothing what I Would like .Even there designer Line is cheaply made. The juniors carry some nicer casual wear, but not into Kohl's, never have been. She would find some OK looking tops, knits but rarely go in here. Couple times been in, so messy. This one tends to to messier every time I go. The incompetence of the employees astounds me. Once went with my mom, I told the cashier, put 12.00 on card, rest in cash, they told me , the register doesn't do that. !!?? Are you kidding me.??!! My old ancient -Casio register at my 1st job did it, so Stupid, that is why I could never do retail management again, fired all of them, start from scratch!! read more

I have never been so disappointed with a Kohls. I love Kohls and it's usually my first choice for kids clothes. Actually it still was my first choice but after seeing the babies clothes area I didn't even want to stay and look for what I needed. I tried though. I was in desperate need for boys 3 months sleepers. As soon as I walked up to the baby clothes I was worried. I have never seen such a disorganized mess. You cold not tell were the girls clothes where vs the boys everything was just mixed in together. As for finding sleepers I found 2 but they were the wrong size. I didn't even know where to look for more bc all the clothes were just mixed togther. I made a comment to another women passing by "have you ever seen such a disorganized mess" turns out she was an employee didn't even acknowledge I spoke. I have a gift card and Kohls cash I need to spend but I will not be spending it at this location. As for the sleepers I needed I got a good deal on them at Target next door. read more

Went in to purchase two pair of New Balance sneakers.....the shore department was a total disaster area.......shoes in wrong boxes, paired shoes on display, no order to the shelves at all, associates standing around talking on their phones instead of making any effort to service customers or maintain department......Rest of store was a mess as well........After I found the sneakers I proceeded to checkout. The cashier was nice but seemed a little pushy trying to sell me a Kohls charge......I said "no thank you" twice and feel it should have been dropped right then and there but she asked three more times......she did check both boxes to assure sizes were correct amd mated as well as tags were removed. Really want to rate higher but disorganization and employees on phone really hurt...I will likely purchase sneakers elsewhere in the future..... read more

This is a shame to have to post this! But I was so angry when I left yesterday I almost said something to the cashier, but instead, I tried to turn her snippy attitude around so she could have a better day, which I hope I did!! I was standing in line in the woman's section to pay and I heard a very condescending cashier speak very brash and snotty to the woman purchasing items in front of me. There seemed to be a language barrier and the woman thought that her purchases were supposed to be less, as they were marked that way. The cashier was almost arguing with her and I found it to be most uncomfortable to shop there and see this type of interaction between a patron and an employee. (i later found that woman in the parking lot and I APOLOGIZED for the service she received, she agreed with me and I advised her to write to corporate, which I am also doing) (they want you to rate them on the receipt that they give you; I will rate them, HONESTLY) I only shop here for emergency items and now I am glad that I curb my trips to this Westampton, NJ Kohls. I foresee in the future that this store will be closed. Not only was I upset with the service I witnessed, I am so incredibly disappointed in the messy, unorganized, and choices of clothing that this store has to offer. They seem to be understaffed and the clothing sections are a total disaster, so I think that the employees they have there don't give a crap and collect a paycheck. Also, there are NO dresses anymore; at least ones I would dare to wear. WHO buys for this store???? I hope you find this helpful and if you want better service, and deserve better service, find another Kohls that treats patrons like they actually want them to shop there. read more
