Kohl's has become an Amazon return drop off location which is what usually brings me in here and what usually leads me to shopping in Kohl's .Everyone is always friendly and helpful and the store is small enough to where it's very easy to navigate and find what you need without asking for assistance. They've got a loyalty program that can earn you Kohl's cash to spend within the store and they always seem to be running seasonal sales. There's a large parking lot and they offer curbside pick up as well as plenty of handicap spaces. read more

She is very informative and hilarious with her jokes while bagging my items, was quick and efficient, and made sure I got all my discounts even when I wasn't paying attention. The clothes here are very much worth the price, amazing quality they last a lifetime, and if you are balling on a budget they have one of the best clerance racks in chs. I visited this Kohls location the other day for the first time. Parking is kinda crazy and it is located in busy shopping center, but it is also close to Christmas, so that does not surprise me. I stopped in initially to return an Amazon order, which I had never done before, so I was not sure what to expect. Their customer service and return center is right up front, inside the door, which was very convenient. I am used to having to walk all the way to the back for returns, so this was a nice change. They had the floor labeled for the line for Amazon returns and made it super easy. All I had to do was let them scan the code for the return, they took the item and will package and label everything for me. They even printed out my return receipt and gave me some extra coupons!! I decided to look around the store and found a great deal on a purse - 50% off! I like their selection and they always seem to have sales going on. So, I've always been a little eh toward Kohl's. Probably because locations I've previously been to are so awful. This one though, complete opposite! While the store, no matter what location, always seems to be crowded with merchandise- this one is easy to navigate through. Even on days when they are very busy with customers. There is always a staff member around to help you with anything you need, which is great. I was shopping alone and had to keep going in/out of the dressing room for different sizes. An employee noticed that and helped me out by getting all of the things for me. I really appreciated that. Checking out at this store is probably one of my favorite things about it. Usually Kohl's is super weird with their checking out area. This one is well organized and run. A manager is always standing nearby and directs people to an open cashier or will take them at customer service to get checked out. It helps the lines move efficiently and quickly. I certainly appreciate that. The store is clean and well taken care of. Kudos to them! read more

This review is strictly in regards to the convenience of doing an Amazon return. I happened to previously live in Menomonee Falls Wisconsin... The town where Kohl's is actually based. They rolled this out several years ago locally for us to try. Seems like it's just getting momentum. Have to say they make it as painless as possible. If you are an Amazon shopper once you set up your return all you need to do is show up with your phone, the QR code and the item to return. No original packaging or explanation needed as hey take care of everything. At the West Ashley location the Amazon return counter is straight in and towards the back. Kohl's is ok. To me, it's a mix between a Walmart and Belk. This isn't one of my go-to stores but my mom wanted to stop in. There were serval employees just standing around by the registers. They always seem to have a sale going on so I'm sure it's easy to find a deal. The store seemed cluttered with items, particularly the clothing departments. The beauty department is ok. The shoe department is lacking--the shoes seem outdated and low quality. I've purchased some Nike workout gear from here--I like the buy one get one half off. I think that would be the only thing that would draw me back in. read more

This is a clean, non-cluttered Kohl's. Except for Black Friday and maybe just before Christmas, you never stand in the checkout line very long. No issues finding a parking spot. Been here several times and it's always an easy, pleasant experience. The main thing with Kohl's is you have to look for the good deals and take advantage of percent-off offers and Cash Back times. Some things in the store are always on special (I guess it boosts sales if people think it's on special), but they should just call it their everyday price - such as buy one get one half off on socks and belts (that's a 365 deal). But you can find some good deals on clothes, shoes and jewelry. Just don't expect great deals on kitchen, home, and outdoor items (go to Walmart for that stuff). read more

This Kohl's is on the small side, but they have everything you need and usually pretty good prices. Sign up for their email list so you can get coupons- usually for 15-20% off. They also do Kohl's Cash sales and sometimes randomly send you coupons in the mail. It's a lot easier to shop here than venturing to a mall sometimes, especially if you live in suburban West Ashley. Very convenient to I-526 too! The selection isn't too bad, and the clearance racks can be great if you catch them at the right time- even 80-90% off! read more

Kohl's in West Ashley in Charleston is a great place to find quality clothing, shoes, and home goods. I really like their men's clothing sections as they have a wide variety of different brands and styles that takes up much more of the store than a typical department store that has the men's section relegated to the back corner. The store is always clean and well organized as I can find exactly what I am looking for in no time at all and be on my way with something good. I really like the customer service section and return polices as this is right up front at the store and easy to use. The staff here is very helpful and offers efficient service to help you with anything that you need help with. This Kohl's provides an excellent shopping experience. read more

I went in to return items and hoped on getting a different size. Since this store didn't have the size I needed I asked if she could look it up and have it either delivered to me or the store for pick up. She stated 'we don't do that. Use the kiosk'. This is exactly why I HATE kohl's. I never ever shop here. These were gifts and I just wanted a different size.... I went to the kiosk to look through 212 pages of girls toddler clothes, with my 2 year old in hand and decided to give up after the 89th page. I asked if I could scan the item I returned to help find them and apparently that was an impossible task. read more

Kohl's is a great department store! They have amazing sales all the time and they sent out coupons for up to 30% for Kohl's members. Also, they occasionally offer Kohl's cash which is essentially a gift card to use if you make a purchase of at least $50. Staff here is very friendly and professional and bends over backwards for customers. In the same shopping area is a Marshall's, Jo-Ann, and Shoe Carnival while Citadel mall a short drive away. Personally, I like the Kohl's in Summerville more because they have a larger store and more selection, but this Kohl's is more convenient if you live in North Charleston or West Ashley. read more

For my first review of 2017, I'd like to tell you how much I enjoy looking at my Kohl's receipt and realizing how much I saved by shopping there. The key is to only shop there when you NEED something, and not just because of the good deals, otherwise, you're not really saving anything if you wouldn't have spent the money anyway. On that note, I went in there with the sole purpose of picking up some new Christmas ties to add to my collection (for next December) and found several of "my brand" on sale, in addition to the already low price. I paid $32 for two ties, when normally that would've been $80. The store is set up like most of your other Kohl's, and once you get the idea of how things are set up, it's fairly easy to navigate. I'm pleased with how clean the store is and how you don't feel crowded in the aisles. There is (was) also plenty of (free) parking. read more

Kohls' has pretty good prices usuaally...but if you check the clearance racks, you can get a lot of good deals -- and what's awesome about Kohl's is that you can get your 15%, 20% or 30% discount that comes in your mailer on top of the clearance prices. This location is smaller and less well-stocked than the Summerville location, but the cashiers are friendly and helpful. There's hardly ever a wait to check out. read more

Stopped in here for the first time with my $50 gift card...attractive selection of merchandise at higher prices if you're used to discount places like Ross and the french boutiques "Le Goodweill" . The have an ample petite section which is a plus for horizontally challenged people like me..I was just too happy to go home with two pants that didn't have to be hemmed up! There was also a folding man chair for your significant other to wait in. The only down experience was when I was done in the fitting room I handed my clothes to a lady worker who was taking some new jeans stacked on the floor out to sales floor to hang. She just looked at me and said nothing and left to go back out to the floor. She came back and I handed them to her again and again was ignored. So I hung them on a rack I saw and did notice a high sign that said to put clothes here and we'll take care of the rest. She could have just told me that? What if I was a foreign or visually challenged person and couldn't read the sign? The checkout experience was more pleasant...I did have to still pay $17 even with the $50 gift card.. I got 2 casual pants about half off and a batch of 3 socks 20% off. They do have clearance racks, otherwise even with sales you will pay $20-25 at least for most of the clothing marked down outside the clearance racks. I will get $5 off my next purchase for providing my email address and if I had signed up for their credit card I could have gotten 20% off I believe. Didn't have time to check out the housewares or the shoes....nice fashionable jewelry area. read more

Amazing, Kohl's dollars, discounts. 10, 20 30 % off plus buy one get one free! Ahhhhh! so much to remember! Ir would be nice if the store had some way to combine all that info. Yep they did, they have a Kohl's app! Put all the discount goodies you have in one place and shop and save. This place has a a nice selection of items for men as well as kitchen items.There jewelry selection is very nice and affordable for those of us who want the wife to look nice and be happy but we can still pay the mortgage after Christmas! This store is conveniently located off 526 and is easy to get to from west Ashley as well, plenty of parking. But Mike arent you forgetting something? Oh yeh the restrooms are spot on super clean!
