I have been a frequent shopper of Kohl's for many many years. I was surprised I haven't written a review for this Kohl's in Victorville. I am no stranger to it. I have made many purchases primarily clothing from here either via online or in person. Kohl's have many great brands. My favorite brand is Croft & Barrow. Their clothing is always of great quality. This store is bright, clean, and organized. Wonderful selections. Great value. They have Sephora in house. Online purchases are easy to make. Pick ups are usually fast and smooth. In person visits are fun because I get to stroll through the various sections. Staff are friendly and helpful. This Kohl's used to be a drop off location for Amazon and other business returns. I recently found out they no longer offer this service. Bummer! Hopefully, they will bring this service back. What I love most about Kohl's is their Kohl's Cash. I have saved so much money. This Victorville store is the one where I shop in person. I tried to leave a review for something I purchased here, and the negative review was not approved. They routinely deny negative reviews, which is unfortunate because shoppers can't get an impartial opinion on the products they sell. I still give 2 stars for their refund policy. read more

Yesterday my mother (who is 69 years old) was shopping at the Victorville Kohls, she went to pay and realized she was entering the wrong PIN number, so she told the cashier that she was typing in her pin wrong, so the cashier canceled it, she then redid it and my Mother entered the correct pin and it said "approved please remove your card" a receipt printed but they wouldn't give her the receipt or her merchandise because they claimed she didn't pay and they canceled the transaction. My mom then pulled up her bank statement and shows the manager that she did in fact pay, and the manager then accused her of trying to steal and very loudly kept telling my mom that "he wasn't giving her any merchandise and that she needs to take it up with her bank because it's her banks issue" My mom asked for a copy of the receipt stating that it was "voided" so she can take it to the bank, and this manager walked over to the trash can and dug out a wadded up receipt that says it was voided, but it was the receipt from when the cashier hit cancel when she put the wrong pin in. Anyway so my Mom asked if she could keep this receipt that he dug out of the garbage, and he laughed in her face and told her "no but I'll do you a favor and let you take a picture of it. " Even if the manger felt that they did in fact void the transaction, and didn't understand that there was a voided transaction but then she paid, but he didn't even check. He just got loud with an elderly lady assuming that she was just old and incompetent. This is not how we treat people. My mom spent her time and money shopping around this store, just to get treated like garbage and I'm not okay with that. And while all this was going on, there was another lady that said she was 86, she was sitting in a wheelchair waiting for her husband to cash out, and even said to my Mom that she hates coming to places like this because she feels as if they just take advantage of elderly people. I am furious that anyone "elderly" would get treated that way. Kohls in Victorville is trash and will be hearing from the better business department! read more

I normally love this Kohl's despite it being a little bit messy. I love stopping here after a long day at work. Today 08/04/24 was the complete opposite. I just got done working a 14 hour shift and needed to pick up a pair of shoes I've dealt with people and customer service all day long I purposefully went through self check out Because I just honestly didn't want to see or talk to any people . Im exhausted and just want to get my items and head home. Well, I was headed to the self check out. There was already a gentleman cashing out and an employee who was young prob early 20s redhead female on the very slender side wearing black jeans and black top who asked me if I was paying card or cash. I told her I was paying Card. She pointed me to the direction of a self checkout register I went over and started entering my phone number immediately she started grabbing my items from me and started scanning them herself, I said "thank you, but I got it "and she completely ignored me and started typing on my screen and basically cashing me out despite me being in self check out . There was three other open registers so it wasn't like there was a long line of people waiting for the registers and I was going too slow or anything . Which this may seem like a minor thing, but I do believe that it is very rude to do that. She didn't do that to any other customer, only me despite me being dressed professional. I had coupons and such that I wanted to use that I didn't even end up being able to scan because she had typed in everything for me without even asking me. I've worked in customer service for over 10 years the whole point and self check out at the CUSTOMER does it themselves, meaning if I wanted a team member to do it for me then I would have gone in the other cashier line.. not only that there was a pair of shoes that I bought that had two security tags on them. They were the last pair and I wanted to remove them myself because I wanted to make sure there wasn't a hole put in them from the pin. Sure enough now there is a hole because she struggled to remove the tag and was rushing. It wasn't like I looked shady and she needed to do that. I only had two items A pair of sneakers in a box and a bodysuit: She even reached in front of me to grab my receipt and hand it to me and bagged my things taking off the hanger that I wanted to keep and as I left, I made sure to mention to another employee that was rude for her to do that. Or if you're going to take items from me like that, at least asked me how my day was trying to make small talk. While this may seem like a small issue to some people but his was extremely rude and she didn't do this to any other customer but me which I shop in the store probably five times a week and have never had any issues, but I will not be returning after this. Not only is it poor customer service, and just flat out rude to do that, but it certainly made me feel some type away as I looked like a untrustworthy person or I was suspected of doing something wrong. She didn't ask if she could help me or if she could scan the items for me or anything, she immediately grab the items from me and started taking over, tapping my screen and so forth Again the whole point and self check out for the customer to do it themselves . I made sure on my way out to mention how rude this was to another employee, and she seemed to understand exactly what I was saying. Hopefully somebody will say something to this girl because this establishment will lose customers quick. I left the store about 20mins ago now and I can't stop thinking about that transaction like I'm literally here questioning "was it my outfit" , "was it my purse size" like what was it about me that made her think she needed to do that or that it was okay ? She didn't do that to anyone else ... why did she single me out? I went in there in slacks and a button down, nothing suspicious looking . A customer is suppose to leave your store happy with what they purchased , instead I feel horrible thinking maybe she thought I looks shady or like a thief etc. I hate this feeling and I will never return to that store, only for Amazon returns. I don't usually shop at Kohl's very often but I do come a lot because they have a amazon return spot which is such a life saver and after you do your returns you get $5 Kohl's cash so at that point since I'm there already, I might as well do a little shopping. They always have new and super cute stuff plus they have a lot of sales. My mother in law loves shoes just as much as I do so I always come and get her some. I am very picky with jeans but I have found some of my favorite jeans here. They have easy returns and the staff is always friendly. The lines can get pretty long because they get so busy but over all it's a good location. Plus bounce, it's close to my house so I don't have to go far. It's a win win read more

Kohl's! This store is a life saver! I didn't really shop here before because I thought it was more of a higher priced Ross. I am a big enough man to admit I was wrong! Lol. They have a few different ways to save money, dough, dinero, change! From discounts, coupons and sales they got you. I will say though. It seems like some of their merchandise is pretty random. Something different every time I go. One of my favorite services offered there is the Amazon returns! Dude it makes returning easy. Another thing I like is they are open till ten! No need to rush playing bumper cars on the street! No more flipping off old ladies on the street because they won't move off the road so I can get to the store on time! One thing I didn't like is that not all prices are accurately posted. Prices are usually lower and you can see it online but it would be nice to know ahead of time. But I got tired of the ugly women's clothing anything cute was way overpriced what really made me angry is that most of the men's and women's clothing are missing price tags !! I love Kohls and they always have some type of sale going on. If you pay full price for something at kohls you are doing something wrong. They have sales everyday and weekends are the best. If you have a kohls credit card they offer up to 30 percent off all the time. I just opened a kohls account just for the savings. They are really nice about accepting payments right after you charge the amount. I always pay my card off the same time because I'm worried about forgetting about it and that would definitely not save me any money. Returning items are no problem here. I've had to exchange gifts before and they never have given me and problems. The store is always clean and easy to find things. If you can't find a size they will order it for you and send it to you home. read more

I read about a designer collaboration they were having and figured since location wise there aren't too many "fashionistas" in the area they should have plenty leftover. The store is well stocked and had a huge up to 80% off clearance going on so I checked it out but was shocked to see they even see dresses for $150? Really? At Kohl's? And still $30 was too much IMO. I like this place. It is always clean and organized. They have a huge selection of items and most of the time they have the items you come for in stock. A lot of the time the prices for their items can be high, but they always have a sale or some sort of discount available to save some money. One thing to always check is the website retailmenot.com and look for coupon codes to use in the store. Occasionally I want a product that is not available in store and when that happens it is best to order the item from one of the kiosks in the store. By doing this you can get free standard shipping on the item and the selection of items is much larger on their online catalog. My daughter wanted a backpack but when we went to the store it wasn't in stock. We went to the kiosk and discovered that there was about 30 additional colors/patterns available. She ended up ordering the backpack in a completely different pattern than we came to purchase. Plus, with coupons we found on retailmenot.com, we saved 20%. My only complaint about this store is that it is hard to find staff to help you. They seem to not have enough associates on the floor. When you find them they are usually helpful, but most of the time if an associate walks by you they will not address you. I went with my aunt in look for a new foundation for us both at the Sephora in Kohl's, an employee came to color match my aunt named "Lee". She didn't know how to color match and gave a completely different color than what she is. Then I color matched myself and I was shade "sand". I seen there was none left and asked the cashier which also happened to be Lee if they had maybe any others in the back, she came back and scanned it. We asked twice if that was the right one and she said yes. I got home and seen she had just gave a concealer so my aunt called and spoke to "Jessica" she explained the situation and we agreed on going back. We went back and exchanged the concealer for the right foundation, after we went to walk around where the shoes were at Kohl's and Lee found us and proceeded to walk up to us. She explained how she's always in trouble for these kinds of things and seen they were out of stock of the product I wanted so she picked up whatever was there. read more

Ordered backpacks and school clothes from Kohls.Com Never got the order because they didn't have unit number(on line 1 instead of 2) They returned packages but told me I would get a refund, can't resend packages. I reordered 7/17 bcuz my kids need backpacks and I had to pay for second order upfront. Couldn't get backpacks, had to substitute :( In the meantime, I am still waiting for my refund. 7/28, still no refund, checked tracking number and the entire orders 3 packages sat for 9 days. So I call Kohls again bcuz I now received 2 of 3 of the new order and still no refund. Customer service says we can't refund money until packages arrive. So I say that is unacceptable bcuz they are sitting in a postal annex in Victorville, where they were returned in 7/16. I am beginning to think that they lost my packages while I just did here and patiently wait for my money. NO! Either give me my order or give me a refund but it's not my fault you lost my packages. C. S. We will put in an incident report, to see if we can expedite your refund. Right answer but do I believe them, seeing as they sat in Victorville for 9 days. Me: I want one of two things, my money or my stuff. If I can't get my stuff, you need to issue my refund because it's not my fault my items never made it here, or back. Very upsetting experience today. I returned two items with my receipt that shows it was paid for with "visa debit " I no longer have that debit card. I was told their online system runs the cards as credit even though its debit so I would be unable to get refund on anything but store credit or the original card. I again said I no longer have that card and would like refund to go to my bank card . Was told no that is not possible. I asked to speak to a manager and he said no. The items weren't paid with store credit , this is not fair. Now I have $80 gift card that I don't want. Where did customer service go? I have my receipt for crying out loud. The associate Linda specifically was extremely rude and made me feel uncomfortable over an item that was bought in store and just didn't work out for me. This store has good associates when it comes to helping on the floor but not the cashiers and people working in the customer service for returns. On Tuesday, October 24, 2017, I going to Kohls in Victorville, California in search of a black tie and matching vest. Before I had arrived, I call in and spoken to Lesley working in the men's department. She was very helpful and courteous and confirmed that they had these items in stock prior to be driving all the way over there. Once I arrived, I made my way to the department where she was ready and willing to make sure I was completely satisfied. So based on the reviews of this location I'm quite surprised that I am writing a very positive review; mostly based on one particular employee...Suzie. To be honest the store was a little unorganized and was looking for a particular item in my size but couldn't find it. I couldn't believe it when Suzie approached and asked if I needed assistance in finding it. So there we are, searching together for 15 minutes; rack after rack (yes I wanted this item bad! lol). Her assistance wasn't wasted as she found the size I needed! She was so pleasant and truth to be told I tried to recruit her for my business (I hope she calls me!). I have been a customer of Kohl's for over ten years. A few months ago I was in the process of moving and I did not receive a bill from Kohl's but I had a receipt and I paid the amount on the receipt. I thought that because of my move my mail was not forwarded correctly. It turns out that I inadvertently changed to receive my bills to email. I had paid the bill late (but did not know it). So Kohl's charged me a late and sent it to an email that did not exist (I am sure it bounced back). So I was getting additional charges added on each month and had not shopped at Kohl's during this time. Credit Karma sent me an alert that my credit score had dropped over 130 points. I check and Kohl's sent my account to the credit score people for none payment. And a few days later I received a letter from Kohl's that they were suspending my account until I paid. So Kohl's had three ways of contacting me: an email that was no longer a supplier of emails my phone number that has not changed in 15 years and a current address. I have called customer service many times and they take no responsibility to get in contact with me. I am canceling my credit card with them I will no longer shop at Kohl's and I will spread the word of how they will not help a customer that has always paid on time until a mistake was made. I did not try to take advantage of Kohl's and I am only able to speak with people in a foreign country who will send it to another department who then will send me a letter. Kohl's sent me a $10 birthday "gift card" to use anytime during my birthday month. I went in a few weeks ago to use it to buy myself a new pair of shoes. They denied the gift card, stating that the item I was buying was excluded. I was disappointed but I figure I'll buy something else later on. A few weeks later, I go back (at this point my "gift card" is expiring in 2 days) to buy another item, and again I get told that the item I am purchasing is excluded... this was a completely different item and different brand too. So at this point I was really upset. I spoke to a manager, who did nothing, so I left and went to walmart to buy my item. What good is giving you a birthday "gift" if you cannot use it. However, at this location is the infamous high desert, I feel it is of good quality. They help has always been good, locating items is never hard, and their sales are always awesome! Five shirts for 20 bucks. Score. I never shop for jeans here, because personally I just do not like them, but a lot of my friends do. I usually go for shirts and dresses. I never shop at Kohl's, but i gave it a shot. I ordered online, and it was no problem. Then i received my items, 1st- sizes were way off from what the size chart says, 2nd- instead of receiving a Minecraft shirt for my son, i received a package of Men's Underwear! I call customer service, its in the Dominican Republic, which i wouldn't mind if there wasn't a huge language barrier. I didn't want to be rude and ask her to repeat herself every time she spoke, but i barely understood anything. Luckily, we managed, she was very polite at least. This really is directed to every single Kohl's although one of the girls working at returns was rude to say the least. Kohl's Kohl's Kohl's...ahh why is it everytime I shop there I hear over the speaker of how easy it is to return an item..no receipt?....no problem! It's such bullshit. First of all 99.9% of the time I do have a receipt and the other tie I've used my Kohl's card. So you'd think it would be just as easy! Next the Kohl's cash sometimes I hate them. First of all it's for every $50 you get $10. Well I've often had my bill come up to $49.99 cause I only needed 1 item....nope don't qualify....whatever. This incident: Bought a blouse....it turned out to be too big plus I did not like after all. Went to Kohl's to exchange it. The girl asked how can I help you? ( she should of said how can I argue with you?) I told her return ....but I wanted to get something else. She said I had already used the Kohl's cash that was generated from this sale. I told her that I wanted to get something else. She snapped back " you said return not exchange"! I said I would buy something else not to mess up the "Kohl's cash" purchase. So redoes the transaction ....she is less then happy. Finally she blurts out in order for this and the prior transaction to come out "even exchange" you must " buy the exact same item, from the same exact designer and the same exact price". OMG:I snap back " that is the dumbest policy I have ever heard"! Her: well I didn't make it.. Me: Well it is still ridiculous and maybe you should make an employee suggest saying so". It now is an argument between us. Stupid as it sounds. She emphasizes that I must buy the exact item and now go through the regular check out. She is enjoying this ....I say nothing else and walk away. I reported her to the manager. Now for Kohl's to have such a even exchange rule in place is stupid. You just reminded me why I stopped shopping there for over a year. My husband wanted some trunks....I don't need to try them on he said. I told him try them on, and get whatever you want now because I'm never coming back to Kohl's again. I will pay my account off and I'm done. I've always believed that Kohl's inflates their prices....puts them on sale...then you use your "Kohl's cash" and you think you got this fantastic deal but really you're paying what the item is really worth. Took me 20 minutes to try to find boys underwear in my son's size. Bags were open and underwear were all over the place. Sign said underwear were 25% off. Finally found some character undies he liked went to pay for them, they came up full price. I told the associate the sign says they are 25% off, she checks and says that sale ended and now they are buy one get one half off. I told her that the sign is up and says 25% off she said ok thank you I'll let them know to take it down. Instead of honoring the sale price that is up I was told no. I told her nevermind and left with no underwear. As a long time customer this makes me feel like my business would be appreciated else where. read more

Waited over 30 minutes to check out. Manager came helped one man, had to send him to another register across the store. Then she stood there and talked and joked around with the only girl actually working. She then closed her register stood outside the work area and said, "she'll be with you all soon" and stood there! I pushed my cart to her said you can put these away for me and walked out. I know I'm 8 months pregnant but the 3 other people that followed me felt the same way. 40 minutes and she can't help? She's the manager and chose to just stand there and look pretty. I saw at least 12 different sales floor people putting stuff away and no one was ever called. The assistant manager David Ramos was the worst manager in solving problems! , this plAce tried to fool me that kohls policy in returning merchandise just changed and that i cannot return merchandise in certain amount and that the yes or no policy doesn't apply to that locations since it was an expensive amount..it also took me 40 minutes trying to return something but needed up with nothing ! Very bad experience at this store. The employee helping us at the register (Sharon) was extremely unprofessional and rude. It seemed like she did not want to be there and although we were kind and courteous she did not give the same respect. Then, when we went to use our kohls cash and charge card, she charged the wrong amount on the kohls charge card. She was also very distracted and talked to other employees while doing our "transaction". Which never even happened because she was not paying attention to what she was doing. Even when a higher up came over she was not apologetic. She sent us to the customer service counter instead of helping us. Very disappointed. read more
