I like Kohl's for several different reasons, prices, cleanliness and helpful employees. I usually come here looking for dress shirts and ties because they have pretty nice stuff and the prices are amazing. Kohl's kind of reminds me of Mervyn's, Sears and Penny's but that's okay because like I said the prices are very wallet friendly and I can always appreciate that. Also Kohl's is pretty huge and has tons of sections and has just about everything you need. They also have a nice little jewelry section which I was very surprised by because I thought they would just have costume jewelry but I was wrong. To be clear, I love the store and the people that work at this store. I give them a 5. HOWEVER, I recently ordered from the Kiosk (BTW they need to either fix the Kiosk or get rid of it!) I ordered some sandals. When I received the package there was 1 very used sandal, ONLY ONE VERY WORN SANDAL. Unbelievable. DO YOU PEOPLE NOT EVEN LOOK AT WHAT YOU ARE SHIPPING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS? WOW. I have completely stopped buying clothing from Kohl's because the clothing is completely saturated with formaldahye. I have also stopped purchasing towels because the dye from the towels left dye marks on my brand new dryer. Now, I think I am completely done with Kohl's. Again, the staff at this store is awesome. The problem is the shipping department and the quality of items is in the TOILET. read more

I ordered pots and pans on 11/6/20 they were to be delivered on 11/10/20 it is almost impossible to get a live person on the phone. I finally kept pushing 0000000 until someone from another country answered. Apparently the order is lost and to call back on 11/13/20. No resolution. I have made several call to fed ex and they are helpful however they tell me it is a Kohls problem. I called on 11/23 to Kohls as instructed and still no resolution and now I am told to call on 11/24. Kohls has doubled and triple checked and all has been entered correctly on my side. I am only giving a five star review based on my interaction with one of the cashiers on the night after Thanksgiving! This young lad's name is Edris and I loved how bubbly and energetic he was. He made everything a breeze at checkout. He thoroughly explained how rebates work, bagged my items carefully and made sure I got the discounts that I qualified for. Working at retail stores during the holiday season is not very easy. But this young man was very positive amidst all the chaos in the store. He had a smile on his face from the very second he called us to go to his register and up until he bid us goodbye. He is definitely a keeper! Kohl's better give this young man a raise. read more

I will not be shopping here again. I keep getting harassed for their stupid credit card. I keep getting asked and they wont take no for an awnser. I've been followed by workers to see if I want one and I've told them no and to leave me alone. Their managment is a joke and I have witnessed them harassing their own employees. You really want to support this kind of store and managment? Theres no need to ask us customers 4+ times for their "crd" and not accept our answer. read more

My store pick-up experience was awful. I typically order online with free delivery and for the most part I'm happy with the service (although items are sometimes missing). This time I opted to pickup part of my order in-store and the runaround was absolutely ridiculous. My order was placed through MY account, using MY card, with MY name on it and somehow my husband who is the prime account holder had to authorize my pickup. Once that was done, I was hassled on my identity (after clearly proving it) and ended up having to use my passport to prove my identity. I agree with the other yelp reviews - the customer service is non existent. read more

A co-worker suggested that I try to look for my elusive winter coat at Kohl's. She said that they are just like Ross or Marshall's except they have a larger men's section and that they carry coats as well. I thought to myself, "maybe I can score a good deal...hmm very interesting." So I walk into the store and immediately notice that this store is nothing like Ross or Marshall's. This store is exactly like Sears or JCPenney. I was immediately disappointed. I drive by this store several times a week but never ventured in until today. I always assumed it only sold women's clothes. The assumption is based on the fact that only women talk about this place. So what's the point of this store if Sears and JCPenney already exist? Don't we only need two chains that offer non-brand name clothing? The stuff in here was horrible. I saw Yosemite Sam suspenders on sale here. Yosemite Sam! If you've watched the Bugs Bunny show, he's the frontier guy who's always trying to blow holes through Bugs Bunny. You can also see him on wheel covers or mud flaps along with the saying "Back Off" written below his bow-legged pose. I tried to give this store a chance, but it so isn't my cup of tea. I was lured in by a mailer, $10 off any purchase. When I walked in I saw clothes and more clothes. I really hate clothes shopping so opted for the home decor section at the back of the store. I found some interesting things, metal art, yankee candles (who doesn't love those), frames...but the prices really were nothing special and actually kind of high for most things. Now I know why they have all of the sales all the time. Then, they email me a code for $$ I earned off my next purchase. I decided to do this online. I really tried to find some clothes I liked at this store bit it was more difficult than I had planned. I ended up with some pajamas (that I love) and a few sweaters that sit in the back of the closet now as hubby says he doesn't like the 'librarian' look. When Thanksgiving rolled around, I received a mailer with men' wool jackets on sale at 50% off. I never knew they sold men' wool jackets as I don't shop in that dept. but I dragged hubby to the store. We asked one employee, but she was sorry, she did not even know what wool is. She summoned another employee who may or may not know what wool is, who may or may not have been sleepwalking...It was a confusing and tense moment, maybe we were being punked? But no camera crew ran out, so we just bit our lips, and walked away. read more

Beware of high fees if you're late for any payments on your card. God forbid you have a busy life and overlook a payment due. Good luck to all of you out there using a Kohls credit card. Whatever discount they give you is quickly made up and then some by there late fees. I won't be using that card again. read more

Since 2010, I've utilized a Kohl's credit card with all payments made promptly until February 2017.  In January 2017, I modified my billing method from "paper" to "electronic" and in March, 2017, Kohl's telephoned stating I neglected to pay them for the months of February and March, so I immediately sent the full amount owed.  Upon investigating, I discovered that switching from "paper" to "electronic" billing, sent the Kohl's bill to my "spam" email folder without my knowledge.  Meanwhile, we were busy preparing our home for sale, and I lost track of the fact that my Kohl's bill was delinquent.  I subsequently sold my home and made an offer on a new home that we no longer qualify for because Kohl's reported missing payments exceeding 30 days to the credit bureaus.  I reached out to Kohl's Corporation Executive Michelle Gass on Friday, April 7th, and a representative from her office, Nicole Jensen, contacted me April 11th.   I requested a letter to be faxed to my mortgage broker to include the following information:   1.  The customer is current on the account. 2.  The customer's credit status is: "payed-as-agreed" with the "late fee" designation removed.   The letter Ms. Jensen faxed lacked the requested information, and so I contacted her and she reluctantly agreed to a conference call to include I and my mortgage broker on Wednesday, April 12th at an agreed time of between 9- 10 AM Pacific time.  We telephoned her at 9:15 AM, but she did not answer so I left a message and, thirty minutes later, telephoned again, and, again, no answer so I left an additional message, and she responded to neither.  It is currently, Friday, April 14th, and we will lose the house we placed an offer on because we cannot qualify for our new home loan because Kohl's neglected to respond to my request. While I acknowledge Kohl's entitlement to collect debt, as a trustworthy card holder since 2010 with no late payments, I believe a "courtesy" call was suitable before reporting unpunctual payments to the credit bureaus.  While I acknowledge responsibility for this circumstance, it resulted solely from the electronic bill notification going to my "spam" folder as opposed to an effort to avoid financial obligation.  This was my single missed payment in 7 years, resulting from an unforeseen computer glitch and now I must explain to my family that a department store is acting like a bully resulting in us being homeless in two weeks. read more

Visited this store to retroactively get my $10 coupon deducted from my bill. Since the purchase was made at another store they would need to refund the sale then ring it up again. Turns out a few of my previously purchased items were on sale plus I earned $20 kohls cash. Extra discount plus more Kohl's cash, Yay! The girls who helped me in the customer service department were the best. Friendly, patient, and deftly capable of tackling my issue. Even when I returned later to resolve my charging it to the wrong credit card and having to rering it. The friendly smiles of associates throughout the store belie all the negative comments. I have always shopped at my local Koehl's (Temecula, CA) with no issues. I shop at Koehl's specifically for professional dress clothes, suits, ties, Star Wars merchandise and most importantly for the pricing, convenience, cleanliness and the friendly customer service by the Koehl's staff. In my opinion, the Koehl's level of customer service sits atop the apex of retail stores; paramount. I have NEVER had a negative experience at Koehl's and have always been generously helped by every Koehl's employee I have ever come across. Tonight was no different. Pricing was on point and as always the service was exceptionally wonderful and gracious. Tonight I had the pleasure of being assisted by two employees; Dakota, the cashier, and Miya, the manager on duty. Both Dakota and Miya were both extremely helpful, professional and friendly with tremendous upbeat attitudes; attitudes for which suggest they both take pride in their jobs and love the company they work for. Beware when purchasing items online and picking them up at this store. I ordered a pair of white converse online and picked it up at this Kohls in Temecula. After I received my order, I quickly checked to see if it was the color and size I wanted, but I realized now that I should have checked my order closer. I gave the shoes to my daughter a few days after I received them and we realized the converse were USED and not even close to new! They were dirty on the outside, worn on the inside and the soles on the bottom were worn down. These shoes were clearly worn by someone for an extended period of time as they were in very poor condition. I understand things happen, but giving someone a USED pair of shoes is absolutely unacceptable. Check your items closely if you order online! read more

I love kohls and this kohls is always clean and always has a big amount of stock. The ppl working there are nice but sometimes they need to open more cashier regesters. I too have had the problem with HOLES occurring in almost ALL of the clothes I have bought there. I think it is a moth problem sent to us from their cheap clothes from China. I am done shopping there. And now I am really angry because I placed an order online just now but didn't realize their customer service dept. is on east coast time, therefore closed, and now I cannot stop my order from going through. The confirmation email showed that it would ship the item to ME instead of to my dad in another state for Father's day even though I typed in his ship to address. I am really aggravated now. I now have to wait until tomorrow to try and stop the order. I guess if they are closed on the east coast the order won't start processing til they reopen tomorrow anyway??? hopefully?...aaaagggghhh! read more

They must all hate their jobs. Went in 90 minutes before closing and was greeted by scoffs and rolling eyes. There were groups of employees, giving hateful looks, surrounding the shoppers and making them feel uncomfortable. I walked in planning on spending a few hundred dollars but ended up spending only $15 due to the lack of customer service and general disorganization and clutter. I bought the rest of my items online and picked them up in-store. I was the only one in line at customer service and it took them 20 minutes and 2 different employees just to find my items. I think I'll drive the extra 10 minutes and go to the Murrieta one. read more

Wanted to put downpayment on acct as usual at cash register . The girl was totally NOT trained to do so, NOR did she care! Waited for supervisor to help and he too messed up twice , entered wrong amounts! Then in the middle of transaction the girl walks over to another cash register and leaves me there...I asked her what she expected me to do. In return she waved me over!! Why? Only to find out that this was a nonfunctional register and back we went to # 1! I had spend at least 50" there and I furiously left the store! Incompetency!!!! read more

I didn't get 2 steps into the store and was instantly harassed to sign up for a store credit card. Even after I told her no and as I was walking away the she still continued to harass me. I like this department store a little more every time I go. There always seems to be an employee around willing to answer any question. The selection is decent when it come to products, but a little limiting when I come to brand. The prices are fair, but when you use coupons it can really lower the prices. read more

Kohl's is not too bad... It is your average department store. I have been to several locations within Southern California and this particular store is one of the cleanest and most organized locations I have shopped. One tip I have is that you really need to pay attention use their weekly ads and use their coupons to get the best deal. If you don't use their coupons or shop the ads, you will pay about the same price you would at any other department store. Their return policy is one of the better ones out there. I have brought back items for return or exchange without any questions asked - it is obvious that some items are sold exclusively at Kohl's so if an item fits this category, you don't need your receipt, just expect to get a store credit or even exchange. Also, I have not had any problems with price matches and adjustments. It sounds like those of you that have had problems have not fully utilized your resources to resolve a situation. I don't have any problem shopping at this store and will return without hesitation. read more

My experience was fine at Kohls. What would have made it 5 stars is if someone would have asked me if I needed assistance. I did find what I was looking for and there was plenty of selection. This specific location doesn't always have everything in stock but when they do they have amazing deals. The best part is that they let you stack your discounts such as 30% plus Kohls cash as well as your yes to you rewards. They employees are very nice as well, I haven't encountered any rude employees and I have been shopping here for years. read more

So I'm christmas shopping, singing along with the jingles, fun day, great mood--finding bargains, etc. I go to get some Levi's. Being that I've put on some extra pounds, a few yrs older than last time I bought them, and new arthritis in my knee, I made a joke-teasing with the stone-faced cashier that "the schematic is backward , they should put the britches for us older fatter folks up top and let the skinny sprite younger ones kneel down to grab their size." HAHAHA I still think it's pretty clever. It was not a complaint but a tease. The cashier next to us even laughed! But the cashier, void of personality was so stone faced, said nothing, didn't even look at me, just quietly-and clearly annoyed with me- continued with my order. I may as well have been rung up by a stepford robot. Lol!! Finally after I bantered back and forth with the cashier next to us he sternly chimed in to set me straight and tell me that it's because those sizes are more popular. Oh. Lololol anyway, went in feeling happy and fun came out feeling insulted, ignored and annoyed. It's really such a small thing to engage your customers regardless if you their jokes aren't your humor-- if you can't find a personality perhaps customer service is not the right fit for you. read more
