I went to the Springfield, Il store on March 24 to purchase a gift. I ended up buying a few small items and a gift card. (Paid cash) The sales associate kept trying to get me a better deal. (I didn't ask for this) Although I had a Kohl's charge card, apparently it was expired. So the associate pushed through a new application to see if I could get an additional discount (which didn't make any sense, since I was mostly getting a gift card.) Today I received a letter from Kohl's credit division telling me I was denied the card because of "Excessive obligations in relation to income." Here is the rub, credit score is 881 with no obligations whatsoever. End of story - I will NEVER GO to KOHL'S AGAIN! read more

Black Friday shopping here is a disaster. The store is clean and well lit, as well as the prices were very low but that doesn't matter when it takes 45 mins to checkout. The store took out the other section of checkout machines and it was a serious mistake. The workers were very helpful but they can only do so much. Their selection is great. read more

Kohl's - Department Stores Near Me - SPRINGFIELD, Illinois

We purchased a Kalorik Air fryer in December 2019. We loved it and used it approximately once a week. In May 2021, 17 months after purchasing , it stop working midway through dinner. I contacted Kohl's and was told to contact the manufacturer. I contacted Kalorik and was treated very rudely. I wanted to know if I can get a manual that told me if there was a reset button or something I could check to see why my unit quit working. When you spend $150 on an appliance you expect to get more than a years worth of service out of it. After contacting Kalorik and getting nowhere I contacted Kohl's again. I explained I was disappointed that Kohl's would support and promote a product that was inferior. They didn't care. So now I have $150 paperweight. I am very disappointed that I cannot get some support regarding if there were some simple solution or fix for my defective unit. I am really disappointed in Kohl's. We have been Kohl's customers for over 20 years. We are rethinking our relationship with goals. Be leery and do not buy a Kaloric product. read more

To the man working at the Amazon Returns desk today around 12:00pm. I was the Mom who didn't want to maneuver my stroller into the bathroom to feed my Son. You gave me a chair when you didn't have to and made sure I was comfortable for him to eat. Thank you for not complaining about it or telling me that the stroller would fit in the bathroom. Wanted to buy a birth stone necklace for a gift, looked online and Kohls and JC Penney were closest options. Tried Kohls first. Waited at the jewelry counter, they had 1 employee working on a Saturday and but only 1 customer in front of me. So I made eye contact with employee and patiently waited my turn. She showed the customer several pieces and told her about all the sales etc/so far so good, she finished up with the customer after about 10 minutes and another walked up and asked for help. Employee helped her and totally acted like I wasn't standing there waiting. Walked out- hoping for better service at JC Penney. read more

Great store to visit when shopping near White Oaks Mall. Always a sale going on and always a coupon available to bring the price down. I have honestly walked out with an outfit for $10. Very well organized and always clean. You can find anything here from clothing to home goods. Dressing rooms are always available and the lines roll out the cutomers like an assembly line while always wearing a smile. read more

Kohl's is a bit on the pricey side but luckily you can still get a bargain if you have a coupon with you. I purchased a very lovely area rug for my living room. It had a gorgeous pattern and colors in it. It really enhanced the overall look of my living room. The rug was on sale and by the time I used my coupon, I had saved a total of $65, so I was happy. read more

Visited the store 10/22/18. Lot of big red "sale" signs, but the sale price was marked the same as the original price. Not recommended.

This is a great location. They have several discounted racks throughout the store in both the juniors and women's sections. The discounts were for up to 85%. While I was unable to find anything I liked at an 85% discount, I did buy two pairs of jeans as well as one pair of shorts at 70% off. I loved that there were many clothing options in every size from XS on. Most of the clothing in the women's section was high quality and they even had designer jeans on sale! I took off one star because management did not allow me to use an online coupon code that was not expired and did not have any restrictions on it. Other than that, my experience was great. read more
