Unfortunately, I was not a huge fan of this Kohl's. Haven't been to a Kohl's in quite a while; however, I was lured in by the Kohl's Cash Giveaway. Outside, there was a mild scent of garage and sewer. Once we got in, there was no sales associate to greet and hand us the Kohl's cash. I had to find a sales associate who later told me since they have limited staffing - you get your Kohl's cash at checkout only. I asked if we can get it prior to checkout to see if we won big jokingly, and she said no. So, no way to know how much you'll get off until you're rung up. This was later incorrect, as I was checking out - a kinder associate gave a Kohl's cash handout to another customer. I understand that low staffing can be tough, but I wish there was a more centralized protocol in place. Also, there are self checkout options now, which couldn't be utilized for the Kohl's cash giveaway - amounting to longer waits at checkout. Clothes and stuff were fine - original prices are a bit steep for the quality; likely since they mark up with the intention to put things on sale to try and attract customers. Overall, I recommend improvements with management. read more

I love shopping at Kohl's. Such a tremendous amount and variety of clothing and home goods! Great men's styles in every category. Most items have their prices slashed up to more than half off. Plus, there are always coupons to be scanned, bring down prices even more! And, we eat. Kohl's bucks, as well! The Kohl's in Quonset is very large and super clean and neat! Cashiers are super friendly and always smiling! Super great experience! read more

Selection is ok- hence 2 stars. Lisa in customer service/Amazon returns should NOT be in customer service. She seemed very annoyed to be processing amazing returns and that I had multiple codes (standard Amazon process). I kept quiet bc I found her to be very condescending about have more than 1 thing to return , but at the end of the transaction I said "great, am I all set?" To which she responded-- "you've done this before right?" And I replied "yes...?" She continued: "then you know the drill, I have to give you a receipt...". The hot spot in the center of NK. Close to my work so when there is a good sale, a last minute clothing emergency or some Kohl's cash to burn you'll spot me here. They always have my favorite leggings in stock, my man shorts when I want to lounge around the house down to some cool gear I've bought from here. I bought the best pair of Croft and Borrow boots, sandals and leggings that I live in. Some of the clothing is made cheap but it all depends on what your buying. Somethings I find more expensive then what they are worth so I pass. It's also nice to see the high tech kitchen heat they have hanging around the store. Nice to have a franchise in town that you can remotely stop into on the fly. O and lastly I LOVE that they take Amazon returns!! read more

This smaller sized Kohl's store is nicely laid out. The racks are always neat , but there is rarely anyone to help out if you need to find something. You really can't beat the prices Kohl's if you have a coupon and combine it with competitive clearance prices. read more

Yeah, it's a standard Kohl's with all the same stuff that every other Kohl's has. What I like about this location is that it's close to my home and other regular shopping/errand places and it's rarely crowded and it always has plenty of parking spots available, unlike the one at RI Mall. They are also pretty good about calling additional staff to the cash registers when the lines do start to back up a bit. I go shopping here for basic clothing essentials (shirts, pants, socks, underwear, workout wear, and sometimes shoes) and they pretty much always have what I need at a reasonable price relative to other stores. I also like getting the frequent 20% coupons, as well as occasional "Kohl's Cash", which helps lower my expenses even more. Do I go out of my way to shop here? Not really, but when I do need something, it's nice that it's so close and easy to get in and out. read more

She went above and beyond to make my experience a 10/10 and gave me discounts on my jeans because I kept having to come back because none were not fitting right. Horrible customer service we should all be aware of. We purchased a Fit-bit from Kohls. Within 60 days the product went defective. Came back to the store and was directed to Fit-bit because this was outside the "30 day window". We contacted Fit-bit and they replaced it. The second watch went defective again, second watch in 4 months. Called Kohls to seek a store credit for a return or money back, and told there is nothing they can do about it because of their contract with Fit-bit and its outside the 30 day window. Two large corporations who could care less about the consumer. THIS IS THE VERY REASON WE SHOULD ALL SHOP AT AMAZON, YOU WILL NEVER HAVE THIS ISSUE !! Amazon would take it back and deal with it and not place the consumer in the middle. read more

Great place to shop when you have the coupons......I wait for the mail and about once every six weeks I get a 30% coupon (yeahhhhh) Using the 30% in connection with their sale items you can really get some deals. I bought a 2 piece suite that would have normally cost about $239-$250, with the sale price and a 30% coupon I was out the door for $70.00! The North Kingstown store is always a very calm place to shop, I have never hit a line. read more

Kohl's in general is a store in which selections are limited, and prices without sales are high. They do however have regular sales and if you are lucky enough to get a 30% off coupon, the bottom line is pretty good. The North Kingstown store is a much more relaxing place to shop. However, the petite department is not well-stocked, and the styles are not always that stylish. The Warwick store's petite department is slightly better but still needs improvement. Housewares sections are quite complete and interesting particularly in the picture frame and art departments. If you become a regular shopper at Kohl's, you can earn Kohl's cash which allows you further discounts. Be sure to sign up for the Rewards card in order to benefit from this. It is difficult to find assistance in both the Warwick and North Kingstown stores, but when you do, sales personnel do put forth total effort. read more

This store is such a pleasure to shop in compared to Warwick. What a great job the manager of this store does. Everything is so organized even the clearance which makes it easy to shop. I live near the Warwick store but I prefer to go to the North Kingstown store. Warwick should take pointers from this manager. read more

Went to this Kohl's for the first time and had a fine experience shopping around the store but once we got to the register to cash out, it came out to about $180 and we had a coupon that we were going to use along with my moms Kohl's card who was not there but my father was planning on using her card (which he has been able to do at other Kohl's locations) and the cashier said he wouldn't allow it because my fathers name is supposedly not on the card so we began to ask if we payed for it today, could my mom (the cardholder) come back with the receipt to get the discount and immediately the cashier starts yelling and being very disrespectful to my father by interrupting and making rude remarks such as "I don't know if she's still your wife." And "how am I supposed to know if you guys got a divorce or split up?" The encounter ended with my father getting too mad to make the purchase so we said that we were all set and left. But all in all, not a great experience at all! We will most likely not be returning to this Kohl's location. read more

It has been a year since I used Kohl's North Kingstown RI as my primary shopping location-spending $5000/year on my credit card alone. Due to an unfortunate issue with 2 Kohl's floor managers (male/female) that still work in this store, I decided to re-evaluate my shopping trends. My neighborhood store (1 mile from home) was so convenient. I soon realized that the marketing for Kohl's was terrific. It seems like customers are saving so much money, but the fact is that prices appear to be jacked up compared to other stores such as Macy's. I now save so much more at other stores without all of the games and ridiculous coupons and "bucks" that expire before use. My family,friends and co-workers now also know to stay clear of this store due to what I feel is unfair. Beware customers! Bad customer experience. I bought 2 pairs of Nike pants on 2/15 at Warwick store and got 2 different sizes as my son was not with me. The large fit so went back to Warwick store to exchange medium for large and they did not have any more large size. Went to kiosk and saw the North Kingstown store had some. Was not able to get to NK store until today, 2/23 and got the large and first tried to do an even exchange at register and was told that I had to go to customer service. At customer service, I was told that the large was no longer on clearance and could not do an even exchange. I compared the tags and SKU on receipt to the large pants I was trying to purchase/exchange and they are the same exact numbers/information of the large pants that I purchased on 2/15. I pointed this out and still would not do an exchange. I went to the clearance men's section and they have the same pants (but no large) in the clearance section. I left fuming, that is ridiculous that I could not do this exchange. I have been a faithful, satisfied Kohl's customer for years and I am so disappointed in their service. I will no longer be shopping with them, just lost a loyal customer with their store card. What a horrible experience!!!! i was in the jewelry dept friday 7/6/18 @ approx: 2:45 and was appalled at the behavior of the associate behind the counter. 1st she was socializing with her friend and ignored me. i was unable to keep her attention she tried to assist me in finding an elephant necklace but when she showed me one and it was not what i wanted she became agitated and turn to wait on another customer. that customer said to her to continue to help me but she did not. completely turned away from me. i asked her if she would help me and she snapped saying "well i do not know where everything is. she could have said go to the kiosk or whatever its called. in the meantime her friend starting hollering at me to not come in this store with an attitude and yelled go home! i was a loyal customer for years with holiday shopping ect. not anymore. i shredded up my credit car b/c i felt threatened and am afraid to return to your store in north kingstown. i would appreciate someone to view the camera i am sure that you have taped to see the outrageous customer associate (and friend) that made vow to never purchase anything ever-again at any kohls store or on-line. i am still upset! i am also considering going viral. read more
