I have really had it with retail that treats customers like an inconvenience. I was at kohls. I took two pair of pants and a pair of shorts and went to where it says stand here well I was standing in the wrong place. instead of letting it fly and ringing me up I was berated. when the second person be rated me I said well it wasn't very clear it just says stand here so I stood behind the person in the wheelchair allowing her space and waiting my turn well I was told by a third person she's directing traffic I said how would I know that she didn't tell me where to stand I stood where the sign said the stand then I was told well that's the aisle I said there's two aisles here one on this side of the sign and one on that side of the sign it's not very clear then I was told well you're blocking people I said I already moved when you told me the first time I was in the wrong spot then another clerk said well if you stood there then other people would stand there too and they would block the whole aisle and my first thought was what about the TFTW in the wheelchair I put the I put the pants on the shorts down and headed for the door read more

The store was very mess. Which makes it very hard to shop. They had clearance, but it was all over the stores. It was hard to tell what was actually on clearance. Hard to find what I was looking for. Also not enough cashiers. read more

I really don't have too much to say here but I do have some Kohl's cash to spend but hate like heck to go into the store and Mentor because it always is so hot and trying to shop and try clothes on it's just not really exciting and fun for me because it just is extremely way too hot and that store so needless to say I don't shop there as much as I would love to. read more

The Kohl's shopping experience is generally just satisfactory. The lines are slow, returns are worse. The fitting rooms are almost always very dirty with balls of dust and hair littering the floor. They don't appear to be cleaned with any regularity. Sales and coupons can create real savings over otherwise high retail prices. This is the biggest draw for me. read more

Excellent service from Ms. Della who was working in the Men's Department today. Best and I were looking for some ensembles for the week to come and found a pair of slacks that I really liked. Unfortunately, the sizing was off by a mark and I asked Ms. Della if there was any way she could check if the more suitable size was somewhere still in the store. It was a sale item- most of the time, we've all experienced an instance in which we're told what's left in the sale rack "is all we've got".. but Ms Della was very pleasant and earnestly checked for us. read more

This store has been ruined for me. They a going to put in a Sephora. All the jewelry is gone. I was in the Mentor store yesterday and saw very few things I liked. No selection of purses to choose from. Brand names missing. I will go to another store if I want to shop Kohls. Bye Bye Mentor store. You will be on the closing list in the near future. read more

Worst customer service ever. Purchased clothing, and paid with a check. Because we pay cash for everything, do not fall victim to their credit card scam. A week later went to return items that did not fit, the check had already gone through the bank and they tell me I can only have a merchandise credit back. No coupons or Kohls cash was used. They are thieves, there is no reason if I paid for it with a check the cash came out of my bank so it should have been returned to me as cash. I will never shop with them again, I will take my money somewhere else. read more

I read all the other reviews that gave the store a low rating which prompted me to write this one. Being in Finance, by writing a check the bank has up to 10 days to return a check to presenter - so why would that person think she should get cash back? As far as the person shopping 1/2 hour before close - if you are shopping that late than you should know what you want get and checkout!! As for the checkout lines they must have changed since the review wrote their review because the lines are clearly marked with ropes. I have no problem with this store, I like the people that work there but I have little patience for some of the rude and uncontrolled children of other customers. I have never really had a bad experience in general but today bothered me. My boyfriend and I were just browsing along with many other customers a half an hour before closing when seemed to be someone in charge walks past.. complains about last minute shoppers and how this is annoying going on and on.. mind you still open for 30 more minutes. Here is a tip to the employees-- DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT CUSTOMERS IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS!!! Assumed this was common sense! This store is horrible. Customer service is nonexistent, clothing is low quality. The customers are rude, and although that's not the store's fault, they set up the lines in such a way that it becomes a free for all to the register and the cashiers make zero effort to create an orderly environment. Never buy fine Jewelry at Kohl's! It's not guaranteed!! I enjoy shopping at Kohls for cloths and small appliances. My son wanted to buy his girlfriend some type of jewelry so we took a look. We found a necklace that was normally $500 but on sale for &199.99 so we bought it. As I went to wrap the present I took it out of the box and the clasp broke. Thought I could take it back and just get another chain. My clerk Hannah told me that there were none in stock to exchange so I could purchase another one. I was then informed that they do not guarantee their jewelry and there was nothing they could do for me. As I looked at replacement chains she could one show me 1 at a time. I wanted to compare thickness of the chain. These chains are under $30 and for all the hassle that I had to go through to replace a faulty necklace was absolutely not worth it. I really learned a lesson to never purchase fine jewelry at Kohls! read more

While I would have considered myself a loyal kohls customer until today I will no longer be shopping at the store after my recent experience. I had bought several bedding options for myself and my children on kohls website this past Christmas. Once we had decided on the bedding I took the other two back to the store to return. After waiting patiently in line I stepped up to the counter with my returns, both in their original packaging and with the receipts. The girl at the counter, whose name tag was conveniently missing, had a horrible attitude. She was rude and disrespectful to both myself and my daughter. She questioned my return, the product and my integrity. While I understand holidays can be a stressful time for retail it does not give the employees the right to treat people this way. I will now be packing up all the other kohls items I have and returning them as well. I will no longer be shopping at kohls for anything. read more
