I would NEVER come here without a coupon; they seem to price their merchandise ASSUMING that you have a coupon in hand. A quick online search will provide you with a couple of printable/ downloadable coupons that you can present on any given day. That being said, a family member (a minor who is spending their hard earned money, working a W-2) went ahead and made a significant purchase and paid FULL RETAIL PRICE *GASP*. I did a quick amazon search and found the SAME EXACT ITEM for 1/5 of the price as Kohl's *sadness* I insisted on a return/ re-buy to get the coupon discount. Said minor was unsure, but with the EXPERT LEVEL Help of a customer service personal named "Irina", it was an EASY process *whew* But it gets better... Said minor was so excited about the savings, that they choose to look at additional products in the same expensive category *sigh* Well, they found yet another (even more expensive product) that was to their liking and was surprised to see it a whopping 60% OFF (same brand as the previous purchase) It was literally no hassle at all. No wait, no confusion, she was absolutely confident and went above and beyond and reversed the previous full priced item and rang it up with today's 60% off sale + allowed us to use our additional % off!!! IRINA has single-handedly made TWO new customers from this single transaction. I never considering shopping a Kolh's before, but dang... EXCELLENT 5-star CUSTOMER SERVICE can't be beat! I cannot even enter the store anymore with the fragrance everywhere. It's like walking into a chemical cloud. Everything in the store is covered in the fragrance, which embeds into the fabric of clothes, in and outside of shoes, on toys, rugs, you name it, plus the employees are wearing it. We shouldn't be chemically assaulted when trying to shop. One third of the population cannot tolerate this environment. I will take my money and spend it elsewhere. read more

We had two recent experiences where customer service really did not give a darn. We tried to return an Amazon order and they told us to go to UPS store. They no longer have kiosks with employee assistance. There is no staff on the floors to help. The most recent was trying to place an order on my phone while at Customer Service in front of the clerk. The lady was not helpful in getting our discount to apply, so we left. I will not do business with them again. read more

I am so done with Khôls today I had $20 kohl bucks that i was going to use on a pair of boots . The boots were in total disarray in the department and the prices were all different but I had seen them online for $39 . Anyhow first of all she said my Kohl's cash was void I had already used it after a brief argument a male came over who had quite a attitude just ring it up he said . That's when I realized she was charging me full price for the boots . I was mad at this point and then she voided the whole transaction and I lost my Kohl's cash . I bought the dam boots but am done with Kohl's lack of staff and aging technology . Macy's have far better customer service and product . I've been coming here to buy my kids clothing, and sometimes shoes for sometime. The prices are good. The selection is decent. Parking is good. Customer service isn't amazing, and is usually really slow. Cleanliness of floor (at least in kids) isn't great, but nothing to complain. All in all, I come back over and over for the selection, and the prices. read more

I was waiting outside the mall to get into Kohls on Thursday (thanksgiving day) along with a bunch of others. The mall did not open their doors till 5:00 pm, same as Kohls. Once we all got into the mall we walked over to Kohls and their doors were still closed with signs that said the inside doors would stay closed until all customers were let into the main doors. Which meant the bottom floor outside doors. So weren't we Customers also? And wouldn't it been appropriate to put one of those signs on the outside of the mall doors where we were waiting outside? So we had to wait another 10 minuets for them to open the inside Kohls doors for us. I had been to Kohls the day before to see where I needed to go to get my two items I wanted. I had planned on getting there early and grabbing my two items and getting to the checkout before there was a line. Needless to say this didn't happen. read more

This place is crap. Employees have ruined this experience for me. So rude and obnoxious.

They have some very inconsiderate employees at this location. For example, the last time I shopped there was a couple weeks ago. I spent what is to me a very large amount of money on clothing. I was checked out by a young lady named Brianna who seemed too busy laughing with her coworkers to acknowledge me. She rang up my items and told me there was a problem and had to do it again. The first time she did it I was unhappy how she was bunching my purchased items in a pile on the counter. As she ran everything through the second time, she quite literally balled the clothes up and put them in the bag tangled and wrinkled. Some fabrics wrinkle very badly and it's important to take care of them. As I watched her I wanted to ask for my money back and leave. I appreciate it when store employees understand that I just spent money on nice clothes and don't want them wrinkled and unwearable right off the bat. This young woman obviously doesn't care. I know that because when I brought it to her attention, she looked shocked, then laughed. Maybe this Kohls needs to have a lesson on customer service for their employees. Or maybe stop hiring kids. read more

Traveler beware. I use traveler checks for purchases when traveling. Kohls associates at Rougue Mall did not know what travelors checks were and would not accept. Made me sign, then would not allow me to use after talking to manager. Will no shop at Kohls again when travel. read more

Well, kohl's gave me a credit card when no other retail store would. Their sales are awesome and coupons (check retail me not website) are fantastic! If you like to shop online, they have a great selection. Now for a few negatives. The isles are usually overcrowded and sloppy. Sales associates are usually quite friendly and helpful. I was shopping with my friends one day and we were needing some assistance. The cashiers were clearly busy so we didn't want to burden them. Just when we thought we would receive assistance from an employee or the loss prevention guy, they engaged in a "tickle fight". It would have been endearing except for the fact that we needed help and they didn't even see us. To make it worse the loss prevention guy had a wedding ring and his coworker didn't. Just to let people know in case they did not see or hear the story. Kohls in california was accused of raising their prices, then putting them on sale. It was not an isolated case in 7 stores checked all were found doing the same thing. Many times, when looking under the price tag attached many items were much cheaper. Working in a few retail stores prices did go up, but did not then go on sale. In most stores you try to remove the tag, in kohls case it just just shows and verifies what, I said in a earlier review. I m not saying the one in Medford does this, however, I would not b surprised, as most decisions r made at corporate headquarters! Just saying b careful when buying anywhere, it is sad to say the number of times the price is not right. If the sale sign is left on the product any decent store such as Bi-mart takes the sign down and gives u that price as they should do.
