I have to be perfectly honest. The only reason why I come to Kohl's is to utilize them for the Amazon return process. It's super convenient that I can drop off any returns I have from Amazon directly to the Kohl's. My refund from Amazon is typically processed the same-day I drop it off at Kohl's. Take a screenshot of your Amazon QR code for the return on your phone as I typically have difficulty with my phone connectivity in their building at this location for some reason. You get a 25% off coupon for *most* things in the store by utilizing Kohl's for the Amazon return process which is another bonus. I don't typically shop at Kohl's very often, but the 25% off coupon is a nice touch. Everyone at the Amazon return desk has always been quite pleasant to work with and I've not ever had any unpleasant situations in the store. It's clean and conveniently located in Peoria off Northern Ave. Plenty of ample parking so no issues there. read more

All employees that I encountered were upbeat. Line for checkout moved quickly. read more

I found some cute dresses online. I found one at my local Kohl's so much I wanted it in black as well. The South Peoria location had it in stock. I placed my order online, used my discounts on my wallet and and set to pick up at this location. I accidentally selected pick up in store and the app would not let me go back or change my pick up option. When I arrived at the location I called and let them know we preferred pick up outside and they had no issue accommodating our preference. They still wear masks inside and out. This Kohl's is close to home and convenient for us. They have a lot of parking although it's shared with other shops. The store has been very clean and organized when we have shopped. They enforce social distancing and I noticed at checkout they are sanitizing between each customer which was great! I love their coupons and sales which I am able to take advantage of when I use my card. Definitely able to find what you need as they have everything from clothes, jewelry, home decor, small appliances and more. The employees are friendly and helpful as well! read more

So first I'm going to say Kohl's is one of the first stores I go to when I need clothes. I hate internet shopping and Kohl's usually has what I need or want in my size at a reasonable price. If the item is on sale or I have Kohl's cash it's smoking and it's one of the few places I can find kids Converse shoes in my size. My husband wears a 33 waist jean and this is one of the places they usually have his size. We both went on a early Sunday afternoon at the start of the holiday season. They did have one pair of Levi's in his size and they were on sale saving us about $20. Clearance was abundant...so why the low score. Well, this location was playing Hispanic music. Now don't get me wrong I'm all for diversity but this music was blaring. B L A R I N G!. So loud and distracting I bought nothing. The whole hour we were shopping. Second, most of the dressing rooms were closed, having to walk the whole perimeter of the store to find one. Put signs up directing a person to a new location instead of us having to walk to another room to find it also closed. Three, they had two registers open and we stood in line about 20 minutes with seven other people in front of us. I felt like I was at Walmart. Four, my husband found a pair of Van's on clearance but someone had pulled most of the clearance tag off so the price was not visible. When we asked how much they were the customer service rep told us she couldn't scan them because they put a black mark through the upc. Another sale lost. Huh, maybe that's why your business is starting to go under. Kohl's in general will still be on my list but I'll probably start frequenting the one on Bell Rd. That music was just way too loud to the point I wanted to just leave. read more

While on this side of town with my daughter we decided to stop in to check for some new clothes she needed for work. Parking lot is pretty huge and falls at the end of the shopping center so plenty of spaces. The store itself was really clean and we were able to find a few items she liked. Customer service however stunk. It felt like we were invisible. We walked by at least six employees and not one said hello, asked if we needed anything, Beck didn't even act like they cared. Pretty sad. We checked out our items and as we were leaving a gentleman finally said hello and asked how we were etc, im pretty positive it was a supervisor because he was directing another employee . I don't go to Kohl's very often but today was a slap in the face when I went. I am a plus size woman so that's where I headed to look for a dress. This area was very unkempt. Nothing was neat and the desire to look through the section was too stressful. The worse part about it was that my husband & I went to the men's department (which was on the other side of the store) and as we looked at other departments none of them were anywhere as messy and in disarray as the woman's plus size department. read more

I swear the employees there are just there to collect a check. No one greets you upon entering, asks if you need help, or makes eye contact with customers. Manager and security could careless about customer safety. I watch as two customers advise members of their staff. About two homeless men in front of their entrances panhandling customers. Sephora employees are even worst. They don't even bother to walk from behind the register, unless it to follow a "suspicious" customer. Even then, you'll stand at the register waiting for the employees to finish personal conversations or gossip about customers and other staff members. read more

My kid loves the clothes here but you can't just buy them. You MUST play the credit card game. If you travel, the bill will come-and-be-late before you get back. No online payment option. I can't hear, so calling isn't an option, either. I'm hoping the app will have a way to see the bill and pay. I'm waiting for the big class action suit against them for this so I can get back all the damn late fees I've paid. They'll know it's me because they use my SS number as part of my account ID. You can't avoid it. Most of the clothes are ridiculously overpriced for the quality and then put on 'sale'. You have to remember what they cost or guess and pray the sale has been entered into the computer. The return policy is the only thing I love about them, and make no mistake--it's a good one. read more

I usually love Kohl's. I was not impressed with my experience today. As I walked in, the sales associate didn't have anyone at the register but I wasn't greeted either. I went into the store knowing what I was looking for. This store was set up opposite from what I'm used to. I went to the girls section to look for jeans. I couldn't believe the mess the folded jeans were in. It looked like Black Friday x 10. I had a hard time finding my daughters size because they were all unfolded and stacked on top of each other. After finally finding the correct size, I proceeded to check out. There was a line of people by this point, so backup was called. Apparently the backup cashier was new or wasn't the cashier very often. The gal in front of me had an issue with getting a $10 off code to work. The cashier finally got it to work after asking the other associate for assistance. I had a rewards coupon on my phone. Generally I just show them the phone & they scan it. This guy took my phone from me & tried to scan it on the bottom scanner. When he realized that didn't work, he proceeded to use the gun. I also had another coupon and he took my phone from me again. I was very ready to get out of the store. I'm not sure if it's a management issue, understaffing or both. With the other Kohl's stores not to far away, I'm not sure I'll be returning to this one. read more

Had a very unpleasant experience at the jewelry counter with an associate. I grabbed a number and was standing waiting there to be assisted, and no one even asked for my number or what I was. I approached the woman who was in the jewelry department and when I start asking for assistance she puts her hand up to my face basically telling me to shut up. She then asks for her break and doesn't assist me. Unacceptable! Very disappointed with this kohl's store. read more

I'm a big fan of Kohl's but not loving this location. The first associate I interacted with looked scared and like a deer in headlights when I asked her a question. And she didn't seem to understand what I was asking her. Great! I found an item that I really liked but when I tried it on,, it was a little tighter than I would have liked. So I went to the plus size area to see if they had it there. The plus size area was a disaster. There was no order. Things were a mess, strewn everywhere and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. It looked like an afterthought. And I really loved that it was right next to the bathing suit section. Really, you might to send an associate over there once in a while to clean it up so at least those of us shopping in that section might feel that we matter too. This one may be closer to my house, but I think I'm going to look for another location and hope for better service. read more

Love their sales and quality merchandise...They always send out coupons even when you don't have a kohls card. The staff is always friendly and the store is usually kept up clean and organized. My mom and I had a terrible experience with the manager at this store! My mom went to go return a $5 Star Wars clock that didn't work. Since we couldn't find a replacement, we went to customer service to get our money back. Instead, customer service insisted that my mom give back her Kohl's cash. When my mom asked to talk to the manager, she said that my mom 'obviously couldn't read' and that she needed to calm down! I came in on Monday afternoon to shop Balm cosmetics. What I didn't know was I was gonna walk into a mess in the cosmetics area listening to all the employees complain about a girl who always get Saturdays off. After they were finished ranting about each other's business in front of me one girl decides asked me if I need some help. I asked if she knew if they had the three pack highlighter kit. She replied no we haven't had that since Christmas. I was shocked to hear this because I just checked online it shows that they had stock of it. Her response was that's because they stole it. My thoughts were if you're the specialist and never have Saturdays off and you knew this was stolen why couldn't you write it off to keep your inventory correct if you're at specialist...... read more

I go to Kohl's for their clothes, I do not go for their customer service. Luckily I know what I'm there for and where to find it most of the time, because asking for help from someone is a pain. Good place for housewares and clothes, although their clothes do tend to shrink or not hold up well. As does the jewelry- at least the costume stuff tarnishes quickly. However, you can get super cheap deals here if you combine the coupons with sales or clearance items. Seems like we always have a 30% off coupon so we don't pay full price for anything here. Of all the Kohl's stores I've been in, this is the worst. I found the customer service to be very bad and the clothing racks were all disorganized. I don't mind spending some time in a store searching for a deal in 70 or 80% off racks, but when these racks are COMPLETE CHAOS it is very frustrating. Yes, customers are not being courteous when they leave the wrong size in the wrong area, but customer service representatives should be checking for these things. I LOVE Kohl's. Been shopping here for years. This store in particular is always clean, staff is friendly and of course the prices are great. Best part is their customer service department. If you have to bring something back they don't ask you a million questions like you are a criminal. When the item I picked out rang up at about three dollars over the price posted on the rack and I pointed it out, the cashier stood there fanning herself with a brochure, looking anywhere but at me and gave me a who cares, take it or leave it attitude. She didn't return one if my items and refused to give me a bag so I could walk around the store. She said if you didn't bring bag then I can't give you one. This is a rotten store. While my husband and I were shopping at a busy time, he started having chest pains. I found the manager and asked her for a wheelchair and to call an ambulance please. She rudely declined and told us to leave the store as to not bother the shoppers. I was able to help my husband out to our car, thanks to some helpful shoppers and promptly drove him to the hospital. Thank goodness for the kindness of the shoppers. Not only was the manager nasty, but the other employees did not care either. What if my husband died at the store, would he have been tossed in the trash by the helpful and caring manager? We no longer shop at this Kohl's nor any other and I have cancelled my store card. We currently had a very unpleasant experience at the South Peoria Kohl's. We found some holiday onesies online for a very good price, and it said they were available for in store pickup, so instead of ordering online and waiting, we just went to the store as we were in the area at the time. When we got there, the price in the store did not match the online price, but I was told that they price match. The cashier said they would not because it is the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, so I asked if we bought it for in store pickup, if it would still be the online price, and she said yes. We decided to take them back to customer service, to see if they could just give us the price instead of going through all that trouble. Customer service said no, so we went ahead and stood there and ordered the items for in store pickup, and we handed the items to customer service. They then said we had to wait for them to process them on their system. It was about 9pm and there were not many people in the store so we sat and waited and stared at the items we purchased as they sat there on the desk. After waiting about 30 minutes, an employee came and picked up the items from the customer service employee, and she left with the items. We went and found her half way across the store and said we have been waiting for those items to be processed and she just gave them to us with no problem. The other employee that knew we had been waiting did not even let her know that we were sitting right there that whole time. It seems weird that we could not just take the items we purchased and had a receipt for. Instead, we had to wait for them to hand the items to another person who immediately just handed them right back to us. read more
