So I went to Kohl's to use a 20% coupon that the store prints up and I tried to use it on two items and the lady said those items are price protected and so I said well what can I use this coupon on and she pulled it up and you don't have a white selection. In fact it's a joke. They're all the items that no one wants to buy that Cole sells. What a joke so really the coupon that I get from returning an item from Amazon is really no good because everything in the store most everything is price protected so you have to buy a Kohl's item and the coupon only works on a few items really the items that I don't need or want so shopping at the store is really a joke. Do I recommend this store? No, I doubt that's why I wrote the scathing review. read more

I love this Kohl's! Yes, I used to shop at the one on Mississippi off of Havana. However, this one has an Amazon drop off location which makes it easy for me to return my items. I love how Kohl's decorates for Christmas and also I saw a giant Christmas Alpaca for sale but for a whopping $600.00!! I was very tempted to purchase it. Keep in mind, I don't think I'll ever buy jewelry from Kohl's again. Especially online. I bought this beautiful $2,000 worth ring for $300.00 and only less than a year later, the rose gold turned to silver. I don't recommend getting any engagement ring here. It was disappointing and they have a not so friendly return policy of only 180 days. This isn't beneficial for jewelry at allll. However, this place does sell some really nice clothing for the office atmosphere for sure. The customer service is actually friendly as well as the one on Mississippi off of Havana. I love the Kohl's charge credit card because I have received some money off when I made $300.00 purchases. The only poor thing is that they don't offer wifi around their store. The Brighton Prairie View location has horrible 0 signal. read more

I went in today and the cashier checking us out was very rude. I had a coupon for 30% off and it did not say anything anywhere that it had to be used with a kohls card. I even showed her it doesn't say that. It was a coupon from Retailmenot so okay she could have directed me to look on their website for coupons but SHE DID NOT. I just looked on their website and there are coupons I could have used but she didn't tell me about them. I find this to be pretty bad customer service. If you see someone trying to use a coupon that apparently isn't right, go that extra mile and point them in the right direction. I work in customer service and go out of my way to help people, even if it takes their business elsewhere because it's the right thing to do. read more

this store has really gone downhill! went there today to return an Amazon package and look for some curtains. Apparently this Kohls doesn't carry curtains anymore, so I just looked around. Seems like no one who works there cares about the store! it was so disheveled and not stocked. Looked like a bunch of toddlers were let loose in the place! I felt like I was at a Kmart instead of Kohls! Will not be back. read more

I like Kohl's! I think this store is always clean. The staff is always very very friendly... but I will have to say that I knocked off stars because I feel like every time I go in- I get harassed over their kohl's credit card. I always have the same battle with them of politely declining and then the ' are you sure?' Then another decline and another ' but you need this..' It's pushy and really off putting. I get it. I'm not trying to be a dick. I'm sure kohls or even the manager emphasizes for them to push it in people. I'm really not blaming them or sour to the workers. But.. today I had a cashier get rude with me today. I explained to her that I will politely pass and that I appreciate it anyway.. she persisted with snark which was surprising. Maybe she had a bad day. Maybe it was a long day. We are all people.., But I'm pretty sure it's going to be my last time going in there for a long time. I can't stand it anymore with the cards. I have been shopping at this Kohl's for a long time but have never been more disgusted as today when the manager REFUSED to honor the stores marked price on a pair of Nike shoes while we were checking out. Her exact words were "I don't know what to tell you." And she literally walked away leaving me in front of the retail clerk shrugging her shoulders. How about you tell me you're gonna honor the price? So again while in line I had to explain to my 11 y/o son that he couldn't get the shoes he wanted. Fortunately he is smarter than the manager. We took our buisness to another store where customer service is a staple. Kohl's owe us an apology for the embarrasment! We will never be back!!! read more

Had a great experience here. Bought a couple hundred dollars worth of stuff and used a coupon that we didn't realize was for Kohl's credit card use only. The very nice salesperson gave us he discount anyway. They now have a very loyal customer for life! And, their sales are always awesome. read more

This is my favorite clothing store. Apart from the coupons I get in the mail, I always feel welcome and well taken care of here. If I ever forget my coupons they usually will give you the percentrage off anyway or do the scratch off. I also really like the area with the makeup because the young lady there assisted me with helping me find the right shade of powder for my skin. I wish I remembered her name but she was a sweet girl with alpt of knowledge on the matter! read more

Kohls is a great place for affordable and comfortable clothing. I would give them five stars since their staff is always friendly and they have great deals, but I really am bothered that they ask me five times about signing up for their credit card. I don't mind being asked once and maybe a second time...but five times is overkill and extremely pushy. I know the clerks are told to push it, but it turns me off to want to shop there. This happens every time I shop at Kohls (especially at this location) and It seems to be getting worse. After I've said no four times, I don't want to see how much I can "save" by signing up for their credit card. I prefer to pay with cash and if someone like me doesn't want to pay with credit, please do not push the issue over and over and over again. read more

Went here with the BF a few days before Christmas since he needed to get some shopping done. I was very apprehensive, since the Kohl's Store in my neighborhood (Aurora) is always a zoo this time of year. This Kohl's Store was almost empty! There seemed to be a salesperson in every department and every one of them greeted us warmly and offered to provide assistance. Even in the off season, I've never had such great customer service at my local Kohl's Store. It is a wee bit smaller than my local Kohl's store, but I think from now on I shall forego my local Kohl's and shop at this one. read more

The store is clean and most of the staff is nice, however I did have to deal with a very rude employee in the fitting room who seemed less than thrilled to be working. We all have bad days so if didn't ruin my experience but I did end up leaving without purchasing anything because I didn't want to go back and try anything else on. read more

My all time favorite place to go clothes shopping for myself and the family. To include the grown children and the grandchildren.

So I came in here to get a T-shirt for my boyfriend. The store was clean and nice. I am giving three stars because I was very annoyed at the cashier who kept pushing me to open a credit card. There was no line and I was happy that I could pay right away since I was in a hurry. I was annoyed because I couldn't be out of there fast enough because the cashier would not stop asking me to open a card. I understand there is pressure to open credit cards from their bosses, but when a customer says firmly NO then drop it. I spent ten dollars, paid in cash and even after the transaction was over the cashier still asked me to open a card. I said no again. I even told them I don't shop there enough to use one, and they still wouldn't take no for an answer. I will not be returning to this location just because of that. If I want to shop from kohls I'll just stick to online where I won't be harassed to open a credit card. read more
