I've done a few Amazon returns here. You have to adventure a bit through the store to get to customer service because it's on the second floor tucked way in the back. When you do Amazon returns they give you a coupon to use the same day in store. I kind of don't like that they have decor and heavier fragile stuff upstairs in which you have to transport downstairs to checkout. I do like the convenience of the Sephora in this location, it's never been busy when I visited & I can usually find what I need. The store usually has sales running in many departments on many items, plus you can earn kohls cash/rewards so that's cool. read more

Went there August/ September to buy a few items. Got in line and stood there for a few minutes/ while. The cashiers were from another country with on their cell phones to there ear and don't proceed to do there job. Like they all didn't understand how to work in retail. A customer handed cash to the cashier and was supposed to give cash back in return as they just stood there and looked confused at the currency. There selection is great but not customer service was horrible. The manager needs to hire American that can work. I haven't been since. read more

The store went through a rearranging of checkout lanes. The checkout is now on East side of the store and weeks ago I was told we would be able to do returns there saving you the trip upstairs. Now today it is not so and you have to trek upstairs to still do returns! The return area has new technology and no more registers but just tiny code machine snd printer for your return receipt. There. Is a lot on sale but prices have jumped for many things. Jackets $150 and a noticeable increase likely due to tariffs. Juniors dept now upfront left as you enter The store seems to have no staff except cashiers. read more

Yeah the 2.5 star rating is honestly on point here. This Kohls is so weird, everything from the layout to the staff is just odd. I feel like this Kohl's opened in the early 90's and has been operating the same way since. The store has two entrances but only one actually works. You'll want to park to the front of the building and not off to the side. Once inside there's two floors, although there's not a lot of signage to tell you that. The first two times I was there I didn't realize there was another level. The store is dated and just doesn't seem right. I've ordered for pick up and it's wonky. It'll say it's there but it's not. Then you'll get an email stating your emails will be put back unless you pick them...but there's nothing to pick up. Overall I find this Kohl's to always have sales but everything is still expensive for what it is. Honestly I find the quality to be pretty meh lately. The sales you'll find throughout the store are often damaged or missing pieces. I would love to say that going to another location is better but I don't see the draw in going to Kohl's anymore. read more

I love Kohl's. My love for it started when I lived in Minnesota for two years. It has never died. This Kohl's is in a plaza with plenty of parking. A TJ Maxx is across from this Kohl's. It's seriously convenient and deadly for someone like me to have both these stores within close proximity. I parked midpoint between the two stores and walked into the Kohl's after I had finished looking around at TJ Maxx. I absolutely loved the Peanuts plushies that greet you immediately when you first walk in. Every purchase goes to a worthy children's campaign. Naturally, it makes sense to see Peanuts merchandise in the home state of its creator, Charles M. Schulz. This store has two floors. It is huge! I didn't see whether there are elevators. However, I did use the escalators to move between the floors. The Pac-Man arcade games make me happy. Frankly, anything that is electronic or plugs into an outlet makes my day. There were cute small kitchen appliances. I have never seen such a small air fryer in my life! I also admired the AeroGarden and vacuums running on artificial intelligence. This store has a fabulous kitchenware section. I spent a lot of time looking at the latest olive oil dispenser, accessories for InstaPot, and more. Kohl's always has great deals on everything, including clothing. They are cheap and of high quality, which seems rare. I still own and wear items that will not die, which I bought years ago. My rating is more about the end of the pick-up process. The pillows I purchased were put into something that looked like a large trash bag. I was expecting a large white Kohl's bag. The pillows are fine and the pick-up process works well. I'm not sure if I'll do it again because I really don't like to carry anything that looks like a trash bag. read more

Giving Kohl's just a three star because I swear they are running a scam here. It seems everything is always on sale and yet it's still soo expensive, I just know they mark things up and then place the items on sale which brings them back to normal price. Anyways, Im probably just crazy. Besides my ranting the store is usually well organized and you can get deals on things when you have coupons or use "kohl's cash", which are basically rewards points on you kohl's credit card. Kohl's also knows how to dress there manikin's very well. When I was at kohl's last a little girl walked up to one and said "daddy", it was hilarious. Lack of wheelchairs for the disabled or motorized carts. I love my discounts there and the quality in 2022; miss the jewelry counter a lot; But you get a big zero for the disabled and forget the amount of retired baby boomers and Veterans who can afford to shop there. There are never any excuses for dismissing those who cannot make it to your elevators WAY at the back of the store. Even Amazon returns is WAY upstairs WAY at the front of floor two; crowded aisles to get your pre ordered parcels from and aisles jammed with clothes IF you are lucky enough to get one of two wheelchairs in the store My daughter recent surgery necessitates a wheelchair but Kohls is not prepared as many retailers are not prepared You make millions! Very easy to find. Has a lot to offer. Updated with a Saphora inside although the sign isn't updated like other locations. 2 floors. The parking lot is a bit of a maze. Didn't see a lot of staff available to answer questions. Renovations were great while keeping the feel of tradional Kohls prevalent. Surrounded by great places to eat. Recommend a visit. read more

I stopped at Kohls to quickly return an online purchase. I have only gone in a few stores in the last year due to Covid concerns. I was very disappointed to see that a family that was checking out was not wearing masks except for the mom who had her mask under her nose. I left because I didn't want to shop where customers aren't wearing masks. I called the manager when I got home and was told that they post signs about wearing masks and provide free masks but they do not ask customers to wear masks. The manager was very nice, but she said that is their policy. Also, if you want to return an online purchase you have to go to the store or pay the postage for your return. read more

This Kohls doesn't have the best customer service, actually it's pretty horrendous; but, they do have amazing deals to be sought. I normally come here if I am searching for gifts, or don't feel like spending a ton of money on something. Today I stopped in and purchased a pair of shorts, two shirts, and a UofM sweatshirt; total I spent only 12.75$ and that is what I call an amazing deal!! Both their full-price and clearance sections seem to the cheapest around. I also like that they are located next to Herbergers and T.J. Maxx; means I don't have to make more stops. I had pretty much stopped shopping at Kohl's after a number dead end shopping trips over the last handful of years. I don't rise up for clothes shopping to begin with, so Kohl's hasn't been one to enhance the experience. ALTHOUGH, redemptively, because of last night's I-need-to-find-a-patriotic-maxi-dress mission for this Sunday's Freedom Celebration at church, I decided to walk across the parking lot from Southtown's Herberger's over to Kohl's to see if I would have better luck. All of a sudden, it was as if Kohl's had an explosion of dresses again (one of the reasons I stopped shopping there...they'd have about 2 dresses in the store, but they'd be in the juniors section and may has well have been called t-shirts)! My hopes were lifted and I dove in (figuratively, not literally...sales associates hate it when people make a mess). Within a couple of minutes, the lights illuminated and the angelic voices sang over a rack of Daisy Fuentes dresses. Perfectly patriotic but not so much that you can't wear it at during other times of the year (aka, no flags were plastered over it). The one I grabbed, just felt right and I pretty much knew it was going to fit (btw, that NEVER happens). I tried it on and I looked 10 pounds thinner. I was on a giddy-high for the rest of the night. Their dressing rooms have unflattering lighting, so this dress really was saving my life. I feel like I need to write a letter to Daisy Fuentes for inventing this dress and to the clothing purchaser of Kohl's for choosing to carry it. As for everything else at Kohl's, the prices seem a little high for what they're offering, and it's just too many items packed within their available spacing: clothing, purses, jewelry, etc. There's potential for Kohl's redeeming themselves, and I believe they can win me back with continued maxi dresses (& to get new carpeting, too, it unfortunately looks well past its due date). read more

This Kohl's is worth a look if you are looking for some cheap-chic duds that are reasonably well made to pep up your work wardrobe. I like their Elle, Apt. 9, 1928, and Access brands. I can always find business casual things in here. Be sure to shop the sales here and it seems like most things are on sale. I can't get behind the Simply Vera line tough. There is something about that line that is just ill fitting and overpriced. The staff here is typically pretty nice and willing to help. read more

I typically would not review a chair store, like Kolh's, but I was more than impressed with the Bloomington location. I rarely purchase anything, except clothing - specifically jeans, for my husband. I went to the Bloomington location over work as it is convenient for me. They ended up not having the size I needed in stock. A Kohl's employee working in the department was very help and even offered to call the closest stores in the area while I finished my shopping! When I was done shopping and at the register, she came and found me with a list of stores that had the brand, color and size I needed. Now, THAT is customer service! read more

I went into Kohl's with my baby to get some non slip grip shoes for work... there was 1 man upstairs. I didn't know if he was a costumer or worked there because he didn't ask me if I needed help but clearly could see I needed help . Anyway I looked around for ten minutes and I put 2 an 2 together he was helping an 80 year old woman with Kohl's cash and was yelling at her and hade this horrible attitude.i didn't wanna ask him for help after I seen him talking to her that way anyway he walks past me really fast turns around with an attitude can I help you with anything!!!!! Really aggressive I said yeah.....he made a hand gesture to hurry up then said there in back corner! This Kohl's needs more staff and checkout and in store with customer service. Clothing seems disorganized and tough to find the popular sizes. The pricing is reasonable especially with the many discounts but I like to get in and out quickly and that is tough at times in this store. read more

This is a review for Kohl's online. I ordered some Christmas gifts this year from Kohl's. Part of my order arrived or so I thought. I opened the box and my receipt was on top of the items. I looked at the receipt and it was correct. The items on the receipt matched the items I had ordered. However, during further observation the items I had ordered were not in the box. I doubled checked the receipt and thought to myself did I order these things? No, I indeed did not. I received someone else's order and someone else received mine. After about 5 different calls to Kohl's customer service line, 2 special trips to Kohl's, and a lot of my time, everything was straightened out. There was also a lot of discussion that had to go on in order to get what I deserved after all this hassle. In the end, one of the items was unavailable and it was a gift for my father. The item ended up being sold out in all stores around me and online. I had to pick a different item that wasn't exactly what my father wanted for Christmas but it would do. Who wants to just settle on Christmas?! I am very unsatisfied with my whole experience this year with Kohl's.com. I will think twice before ordering from Kohl's.com again as I think all of you should. One last thing, today I received an email to my gmail account stating, "Thank you for you order, Gina." My name is not Gina and I called Kohl's customer service right away. The best I got was it must have been a mistake and "Gina" must have used my email by accident. I even spoke with the supervisor. This is ridiculous. I had her address and last four digits of her credit card in my email! I made sure nothing was charged to my Kohl's card. This is so absurd.
