I am rating this store because of the great customer service I received. Annette truly made me feel welcome. As I was checking out she asked if i had any coupons. I stated no I didn't bring any. Her quick thinking brought out the question "do you get e-mails from us". I responded yes then pulled it upon my phone. Annette then told me how to find coupons. I SAVE $75 DOLLAR! Then because e-mail is connected to my account she pulled out another $10 of cash back award. $85 total. Annette made this old Democratic Cowboy feel welcome & valued. This store keeps getting worse by the day. On multiple occasions I've ordered stuff online, only to receive a used version or a mismatched one. Once I ordered some perfume and it came half empty and in a broken box. Recently I ordered some kids shoes and got two different sizes of the same shoe. When I returned it in store, they removed my Khols cash and asked me to call a # to ask for redeeming it since the error was theirs. I won't be doing that. I'll just stop shopping here. It seems they don't give their employees enough time to do things correctly or authority to make simple fixes (like giving me back my kohls cash). Then they give customers the run around for simple fixes. I hope their employees have started looking for other work because kohls is going to go out of business soon. read more

I'm not crazy about reviewing big box stores, big franchises or big brands, but I believe there's a reason to do so when there's a public health emergency. So here's my report, short and sweet. This Kohl's location is doing a good job keeping customers spaced in the checkout line, erecting plastic barriers by the registers, and pitching bells and whistles that I really wish weren't a part of running my credit card. From the beginning of our masked reality they did a solid job with their employees and keeping an eye at who's coming in the door, I appreciate that. Concerning the company at large, while their brands really aren't my thing, this is always a place we can find clothes for our 8-9-10 year-old kid. What is it about those ages, yo? Nothing fits right, you can't order the right size online, every clothing company has a different sizing. Kohl's manages to fit her right, and that saves us a lot of hustlin'. read more

We were looking for a cute outfit for our 10-year-old niece, so my husband suggested we try Kohls. What a disappointment! It is one of the dingiest and unappealing stores we have ever been in, but since we were already there we decided to look anyway. We had no idea where the girls' clothing department was located, so after wandering around for a while, we finally found an employee who told us that it was upstairs. The department was very small, dirty, and unappealing. The clothing was downright ugly. There were no cute outfits to be found. Most of it was grey athletic apparel. Then we decided to check out the greeting cards. Most of the cards looked old and yellowed, like they had been stored in a box for a number of years. We needed three cards but only found one that was in decent shape, so we headed downstairs to pay for it. When we got to the registers there was only one customer ahead of us in line. There were three cashiers, but only one was waiting on a customer. The other two were talking amongst themselves. Neither of them was looking to see if any customers were waiting. It took them a good long while to notice us. We paid for the card and went to a higher end store, where we found and purchased several cute outfits. Then we went to a drug store where we purchased the other two cards. I will never shop at this Kohls again. I've never been particularly fond of Kohl's but at least the Kohls' in the Seattle area where we used to live were bright, well kept, and there was a decent selection of children's clothing. I think Kohl's has great deals sometimes, but customer service really needs improvement. Maybe it is the I don't need your money attitude or the fact that I could not get one person to assist me. The register person even called for someone. Kohl's even if I would have only bought $60 in items you still lost it, multiply that times how many other customers just decided to go someplace else. read more

This store is rarely organized so sizes on hangers do not match garments and sizes listed on shelves are not what's there, nor is it stocked with a range of sizes, all of which make for a difficult shopping experience. And lines at checkout are typically long so not a great way to finish off. Sales and prices are of course what bring me back. read more

After verifying the hours of operation on their website for Sunday 8-10, we proceeded to the store at about 8:50. We made note that the sign on the door states that their Sunday hours are 9-10. Not 8-10 like it claims on their app. It was chilly outside and were able to enter through the first set of doors to wait. Employee after employee entered to start their shift without so much as an acknowledgment. That's ok. I wasn't there to make friends but dude, you had to reach around me to "ring the bell" for entry. Whatever. The clock finally turned 9:00 and the manager/supervisor/employee came to unlock the door on the OPPOSITE side of where I was waiting.? Really? Because you didn't look right at me the six times you let the employees in for shift? My husband and I nudged each other and got a chuckle out of it. Deliberate bitchiness. Perfect. That's what I always look for when preparing a Yelp review. Not. The coup de gras was after we thanked said manager/supervisor/employee for allowing us entry and she replied "Ok". Ok? Is that the new "You're welcome?" Or "No problem?" Or "You bet?" "Welcome to Kohl's?" After further investigation I discovered that this person is a manager. She has red short spiked hair and goes by the name T-Rod. Short for Theresa. It's a sad day in retail when employees are employed for so long that they are allowed, or feel that it's ok, to make the customers who keep them in business feel unwanted. I am so tired of Kohls shenanigans. And when I say shenanigans I mean deception. I shouldn't have to scrutinize every purchase made. But take my advice don't take it for granted that they will ring you up at the price that you are expecting. This last trip I was in the juniors section. There is normally a table full of t-shirts in between the jewelry and juniors section. There was a huge sign two for $20 That was the price that I expected today. However, Kohls had a different idea in mind for me. I was rung up at one T-shirt for $14.99 and the other T-shirt at $12.99. If my math is correct that would be more than. $20 total. Since these weren't the only items that I purchased I made it all the way out to the car before realizing I had been overcharged. I turned around and went right back to customer service. Of course the lady behind the counter did not believe me. She proceeded to tell me that they do not sell T-shirts like that two for $20. She then got on her walkie-talkie and asked someone to check the price. Of course that employee went to a different section in the juniors area and told me that they would be $12 each. I offered to show her where I purchased the shirts from. I know in certain cases someone will have something in their hand and place it down. And you may think you're picking it up and getting the sale price when the item that you want is in fact not on sale. However, this was not that case. There were stacks and stacks of the Style t shirts I was purchasing. Finally when I was ready to just return the items and say forget it I no longer want your bargain that isn't truly a bargain anyway, a manager happened to walk by and overheard our conversation. They adjusted my price. Let's be honest the Kohls cash is just a ploy to get you in. If they can have items on clearance for a fraction of the cost, What kind of markup do they have? Some of the absolute worst customer service I have ever received. Ever. Online stated they had headphones in stock which I was unable to locate. Items completely unorganized and labeled incorrectly. Asked an employee for help at the register and was told she didn't know how to search if the product was in stock and had me wait in line again to speak to another employee who informed me I needed to go back to customer service for an answer. Waited in line at customer service for so long I walked off and searched the "electronic" area again with no success. Went and waited in line again at customer service and finally spoke with someone who said they might be in the back. After searching back there for what seemed like an eternity she was finally able to locate the headphones. They need better organization, more employee training, and better systems in place to deal with inventory. read more

I'm writing about the Kohl's off of Paseo and the terrible service my daughter and I witnessed there yesterday afternoon around 5pm or so. I was waiting for my daughter to come out of the restroom so we could complete our shopping and then I purposely waited. A lady was needing to do an exchange. The sales lady started off rude and immediately was shutting the customer down. The customer was trying to explain she'd been assisted in the past where they gave her store credit and then she used that to buy the correct item so she didn't lose her coupon. The sales lady kept telling her they've never done that, which I know is a lie because a girl helped me the same way once when I needed to exchange pajamas. But the sales lady stayed rude, kept escalating her tone and basically called the customer a liar. The customer was clearly getting upset because she wasn't being heard or given any options just a "sucks to be you attitude". I'll tell you if I was that lady I would have raised more then my voice for the way the sales lady was treating her. I would've demanded someone else who was going to respect me and I would've been cussing believe you me. In my 68 years I've never let someone talk to me the way the sales lady was talking to this customer. The sales lady finally offered a manager but said she's going to tel you the same thing. The manager came out and at first started off kind of rude too saying she can't help and they've never helped in such a way. She finally then said here's what she can do, return the item, give her credit and then help her with the new purchase.... which is what the customer asked in the first place. I heard the manager tell her that she was sorry the sales lady hadn't helped and they don't always know the options. I thought how dumb then to sit there and say no if they don't know if there were options or not. And why did the manager first come out aggressive and arguing too if there were options? My daughter and I were disgusted at how this customer was being treated. My daughter put all her items back and we end to another location because we were so bothered by this. I keep thinking I don't want to deal with these people, what happens if I need help are they going to treat me the same way? No thanks! I'm not sure if the customer complained or not. I did track her down in the store and tell her she should complain and I offered her my phone number if she wanted to give it to a manager so they could hear the truth. I saw what happened and how they treated her, with other customers around too. I bet you those two ladies are going to shrug it off as it was the customers fault and not see that THEY caused it! THEY handled it wrong and THEY caused her to get heated. THEY also cause both my daughter and I to use a different store. But I suspect THEY don't care! Bad on you Kohl's people don't have to shop at your store and these two ladies that work there seem to have forgotten that! read more

I found what I was looking for, and it was a good deal and good quality, but both sets of registers at the front had only two cashiers working, with over a dozen people in line at each. The cashiers did not seem particularly bothered by the length of the line--it must be routine to treat customers this way--but it's even more frustrating to realize the cause of the delay: that every customer is being asked to sign up for a Kohl's card, to register for another gimmick, and still some third other thing. I couldn't believe it. Treat your customers as customers--people who came to the store to buy something, who found it, and who want to check out efficiently--not as cattle who should be made to wait in line fifteen minutes only to be peddled an endless series of other offers. (If your cashiers are evaluated on their ability to sign people up for such cards or offers, then that would explain this pathology and the intensified delays. Perhaps rethink your cashier incentives, and reward cashiers who are efficient in processing high volumes. Your customers would be happier!) read more

The manager at the Kohls on Holly is always rude, I was cashing out talking to the cashier lady, the item I was purchasing was $70. 00 more, I asked her if that was the right price she said it's a different Ninja coffee machine that is for $99.00, she asked if I wanted the one that was on sale and said yes, then the manager chimed in yelling they're all gone instructing the cashier to take it off, I said to him why do you have a full display with black Friday sale sign if they are all gone, he started yelling at me again telling me he was not going to argue with me, I said to him your the one yelling please do not talk to me anymore, he said get out of my store. This man hates his job and should not be working in customer service. I went to Bed, bath & beyond and purchased my new coffee Nija. I'm ready to clip my Kohls cc, and not shop their anymore if I'm going to be treated this way. Not worth being treated this way. read more
