As the first reviewer of this place I'd say it's a location that needs work and if they work on their opportunity areas I'll definitely be back to give them another chance.
Parking was easy as they had a private lot with spots right out front. Hard to miss on the road with a large purple Kobe sign.
Went in with my family of 8 including 3 kids on a weeknight. Great ambiance and very cute setup at the table with flower centerpieces and cute seating benches. Most of the night they played top 40 but once they started closing they stopped playing music. Drink choices were ok. Their kids juices came in glass containers and When we asKed if they had plastic containers they looked confused. Obviously we didn't want the kids to break their glassware but maybe they just weren't thinking of kid friendly glassware when they opened.
Menu had choices from spring rolls to pho to sushi platters and combinations. We ordered a few rose glasses and light beer which weren't bad. Started with edamame which was decent but nothing amazing.
Ordered their big C plate, curry plate, the rocket plate and a kids chicken that came with rice and chicken broth. The food took a little bit and with only 2 other parties in the restaurant slower than expected. But once the food came out I was impressed with their presentation. Beautiful art pieces.
Taste-wise it was just ok. Not amazing melt in your mouth sushi but creative pieces none the less. Sadly our curry plate had a long black hair in it. My mom who ordered it had short blonde hair. We gave it immediately back and got it replaced but my mom couldn't eat anymore as she lost her appetite.
Service was decent. Not very attentive as we had to get up to ask for sauce and had to ask for extra napkins several times as they didn't give us more than 2 the first time we asked.
If they could work on service and spend less time preparing theIr art pieces I i think we'd go back. I'd say quality was ok given they are in Germany. read more
