It's better for US servers because they only make 1 tip per table. In Germany they don't require any tip and my cousin told me that Germans in that area don't eat out often and when they do it's an experience that they savor. I get it. I really do. We asked for the check and probably got it over a half hour later. We were more than satisfied with our large meals that we also ate for breakfast the next day!
