Overall I enjoyed my time here. This is a Chinese food buffet. They have lots of options and are nominally priced for the area. The food is pretty good, all of it was hot and pretty basic. They have Mongolian grill but they cook everything together so the noodles end up getting burnt and the veggies don't get soft which is why the mark down stars. Service is your typical Chinese buffet so all they do is bring you drinks and clear plates. It was busy so ambience was okay. I generally enjoyed everything except my grill incident. We were taking my 85 yo mother from the Spessart to Cora in Forbach. On the way back I wanted to stop at Asia. But, alas, Asia is no more. It is now Gourmet World. The concept remains the same. Chinese/Pan-Asian lunch buffet plus Mongolian BBQ at night. Unfortunately we only were there for lunch. I read the labels for the night buffet, and the meats included kangaroo and other game. Soft drinks and coffee/tea are included in the all inclusive price. Beer and wine are extra but I think it's only 1€ per bottle of beer and glass of wine. I was actually confused about this. You get your own beverages and we had five in total. We were only charged three. Had I realized that at the time, I would have said something. But I did leave a tip despite it all being self serve. Our ice cream cone had mold on the bottom of it. I brought it to the attention of the manager and he didn't care at all, he actually gave me an attitude. I then brought it to the front desk where the cashier asked me "what's mold?" . I was offered no compensation for the check even after explaining how upset I was. This place is horrible. Food is not good. Customer service is absolutely unacceptable! They were so RUDE! They blamed me for bringing to many customers so they couldn't serve fast enough because they only had 1 cook. However we had a reservation ahead of time so they were aware of the fact that there is a big group coming. Not to mention , upon paying the lady at the register was talking on the phone while I was trying to settle my bill. I'm never going back to this place and neither should you !
