There is a reason that I prefer Dobbs Peterbilt over most other franchises, the service, the…read moreefficiency and speed, and the employees genuine efforts to get you back on the road in a timely manner. My favorite Peterbilt of all time, is Dobbs in Little Rock. I wish I came through this direction More often, because this one would be right up there with it. I've had an issue with a coolant light on a truck that I bought for the past couple months. I long suspected it was just the surge tank sensor, but all the Kenworth and Peterbilt places I called while traveling the country didn't have any in stock and had to order it. Anyhow my light was incessantly flashing, the check engine light with the wrench came on, and beeping to the point where I wanted to rip my dashboard apart and pull the whole assembly out. I was going to give Kenworth a try but I read reviews on it and someone said to drive the extra couple miles to Western Peterbilt. I called the service department about 2 hours out and talked to one of the best technicians I think I have met at any Peterbilt dealership. His name was Nick. I told him my issue, he told me what it most likely would be, but said he was backed up until early the next week. He then told me that I could come in, and he would do a quick diag for me, at the least just so I know where I'm at with the fault code. I got there about 1:30 p.m., and he came to my truck with the laptop and plugged 'er in... Come to find out, it actually WAS the sensor, and believe it or not, they actually had it in stock! We walked up to the parts counter together, chit-chatting back and forth, got the little part, went back to the truck and he straightened my pins out on my connector and then just slid the sensor right back into its seat.. PRESTO, haven't had the lights or beeping since. He also triaged another issue I had to give me a lead on my next repair. I can't thank Nick enough, for being so backed up, yet waiting on me for a couple hours and taking time to come out and give me the help that I needed. I wish all Peterbilt dealership were Dobbs, and they all had a Nick. All things considered. I live probably about 12 hours away from this location, but I would seriously consider driving straight through to have work done here, because I know it will be done quick and competently. Thank you nick, and thank you Dobbs, for a five star experience. I hope that if I ever need to, I can have you guys do my repairs.

PDI tech passed off damage to side skirts as a "feature". Mixed experience. Trailer is great and we got it with minimum fuss. We had pre-approval from my Credit Union for the purchase. Over the phone, salesperson CeCe asked my wife and I to fill out the BlueDog financing application because "We need it to work with your bank". I told her explicitly on no fewer than 3 occasions "We already have financing. Please do nothing that will result in a credit pull. My wife and I are trying hard to protect our rating." I also wrote it on the application. Each time she assured me that she wouldn't. Of course, as we were already halfway to Spokane (5 hour drive) my wife looked and Surprise! At least 2 credit pulls from Spokane. When we arrived and complained, CeCe tried to explain to us that we didn't actually have a pre-approval (despite having email to the contrary). She pretty much evaded and deflected any questions we asked about anything. When we got into the finance office, Kurt (finance guy) was aghast when we told him. He looked at the app and saw the "please no pull" note, and admitted to not seeing it. CeCe had not ever conveyed our request to him. He gave us a parts credit to try to ease things. So Kurt a) owned the problem and b) tried to make it up while CeCe just pretended it didn't exist. Don't deal with CeCe. When we drove over to Post Falls to pick up the trailer, our PDI tech was nice enough, but when I pointed out a weird bulge in the aluminum wheel skirt, he gave us some line about it being "to give extra room in the event of a tire blowout". Which sounded like BS at the time, but we had been on the move for about 8 hours at that point, and I just wanted to get out of there. When we finally got to our campsite, I took a closer look and it was totally due to damage. Comparing the two sides of the trailer makes it really obvious. Also, there's sawdust inside many of the cabinets. I mean, how hard is it to clean that up?
