My significant other and I agreed on a three day inspection period (versus the traditional ten day) with the sellers of our home...which meant we needed an inspector ASAP after locking into the sale. He was even able to squeeze us in with such last minute notice for a next day inspection! The next day comes and when we arrive at our pending home, Karl was already there and starting the inspection of the exterior of the home with his drone. I had dragged my parents along to be at the inspection, and Karl greeted my entire family individually m and made everyone feel excited to be a part of the inspection process. He also went on to explain a bit about the inspection software he uses, which insures that every system imaginable in the home is covered during the inspection, and showed us the new drone technology he used to take detailed pictures of the roof. We really appreciate that he kept us informed from the moment we met. Throughout the inspection, Karl really had our best interests in mind. We told him that this will probably be a home for our family in the future where we will start a family and raise our future children, so he gave a lot of great advice on things to plan ahead for when we have kids such as blocking off the fireplace vent and adjusting the garage sensors to a certain height for younger children, things we probably would not have thought of. It felt like we were talking to a great friend that really cared about our future in this home throughout the entire process. The entire inspection was very thorough and Karl left no stones unturned to make sure the home was safe. He took his time to explain how systems unfamiliar to us worked (tankless water heater, heated floors, etc) and spent a lot of time checking the attic and crawl space as well. We then received the inspection report within 3 hours of the inspection appointment, which included pictures in every section and everything he covered in writing. My wife and I were in the process of buying our first house, and needed an inspection immediately.
