They sell overpriced items that don't even work. Many people I know have complained about getting vapes from here that die after just a few puffs. Don't waste your money. Honestly this place isn't it. My gf and i decided to try something new and it had bad customer service and the products we got were really bad and didn't work. Luckily, they offered a free new vape but the new one also doesn't work. It tastes off and hits like garbage. So this interior on this place is a little worse for wear, but selection wise this is the place to go! Great selection of rigs, nectar collectors, and all sorts of pipes and accessories. Staff is really friendly and prices were along the lines of what I have seen in other areas. I LOVED the dogs running around the store, best surprise ever! Staff was knowledgable and they were currently offering a 15% off deal for donating winter goods (mittens, jacket, hat, etc), so they are charitable as well! I don't use this place for anything other than to buy tobacco for rolling my smokes. It does fulfill that role reasonably well, despite some distributor issues with keeping my brand in stock. I can't speak to how well they will be able to help you spend your college loan on that sweet 4-footer mom & dad always wanted you to have. Prices on my tobacco and filters are better than anywhere else in the area (that's not many places) But prices on the "Herbal Incense" you used to buy here are practically non-existent! There was a cute girl there (maybe still is?) who was always nice and seemed a little more "connected" in executing her duties than most of the rest of the staff. And I don't mean you should try to buy drugs from her. I mean she made eye contact, spoke clearly, and didn't have that "I need another Monster energy drink or I'm fittin' ta crash. Did you see that new Rob Dyrdek show? What?" look. They're all friendly, though. This location fails in comparison to the Madison location. My partner enjoys Velvet Cloud (organic, sustainable, non-chemical brand) for his nicotine vaporizer and while the Madison location offers dozens of flavors this Knuckleheads has none. We have bought many blunt wraps that we go home and find out they are dried out. (Which means we can't use them, because they crack.) Sure, they carry manic panic (which is hard to find in certain colors outside of this shop) but they sit so long I'd be careful purchasing them to use them. Also, maybe it wouldn't help for the employees to seem so annoyed when someone walks in. read more

I'm not really a big fan of Knuckleheads. I find many of their products to be cheap quality, yet overpriced. Also, I feel like they're more geared towards young and inexperienced smokers, since they are so close to UWM. As a serious smoker, I find many of their stuff to be a joke. Some of their workers are cool and know what they are talking about, but some others seem like they're just kids who Juul. Personally, I like Shiraz Market better, which is just down the road. I've been going to knuckleheads for years. It fits well with the vibe of the uwm section of the eastside. The people are always willing to help. They offer lots of items from hookah products, cigars, vapes, tshirts and incents to name a few. The only issue I have is the prices are not as competitive as some other stores around the city even other businesses on the same block. read more

Buying the hookah was a pleasant experience. BUT I took it home, tested it out & the stem (right underneath the tray) melted. I took the hookah back to kinda understand how that could've happen. I was accused of dropping the hookah which I did not. Even so that doesn't explain how that specific piece would've melted. I was told all that could be done was a 10% discount off of a new one. Before walking in you will notice how the door requires a push button, while intermittently covered with random paper. Upon entering you'll observe a close quartered shop filled with clutter. This leads to you going into a very hawk like mode, almost a I spy for what you may like. There is a sort of relaxed vibe to this experience that is welcoming, though there may come some headache thru examination. For a small shop it has everything it can jam in it and as well a very friendly people working there. Yet, after a walk through you will begin to notice the prices are too expensive for what you need. I would recommend online unless you enjoy paying for a experience.
