Totally satisfied customer. Scheduling was great. They fit me in even though they were fully booked after I explained the necessity of my last minute timing. They then found a way to still do it even though the text message confirming on my end never went out, so there was a snafu. Packing up was great. The two guys who came were friendly and polite. I noticed them wiping their feet every time they went into the house. I saw what they were doing--packing wise, carrying--and it was respectful of the stuff as well as their own safety (important, you know). This has been during Covid19, and even though most people where we're at dispense with masks, they wore them in the house and whenever they and I were talking, also with social distancing then. Price. OK, by nature we always think "it's too expensive." They were neither the cheapest nor the most expensive of who I checked out. But they were highly recommended by my brother, so I went with them. I then decided to store the stuff at their warehouse. Again, not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. So when all is said and done, fair price in general, and very fair considering how satisfied I am. About my brother's experience. He had exactly the same experience. My move was across several town lines. His moves was across several state lines. read more

We were stranded when our original moving company didn't show up to help us load our UHaul. I called Knowlton Moving in Warren, ME in desperation and they has two guys who were finishing up early on another job. Mick and Deon came over and worked tirelessly to get us packed and ready to go. They took care of our stuff and made sure it was secured on the truck. I don't know what we would have done without them. I highly recommend Knowlton Moving for their professionalism and hard work ethic! read more

Knowlton's came for a site visit in order to provide us with a quote. We were told a quote would be emailed to us within several days. Despite multiple phone call follow ups to the company over a 4 week period, we did not receive the emailed quote. Each follow up phone call, we were told the quote would be emailed that day. We ended up not using this company, as we never did receive a quote. The lack of follow through was unprofessional. read more

Knowlton moved a piano for me. From the first phone call, they were polite, knowledgeable and efficient. They gave me a time for pick-up and delivery, they were on time for both. The quote for the move and actual cost of the move were spot on. The delivery guys ( 3 of them) were professional and respectful of my home. They set up the piano where I asked and even told me a little about the history of the piano. Knowlton was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them and would certainly use them again. read more

Knowlton is the worst! They were responsible for gouging all 5 of our wooden dining room chairs and when I spoke with the owner about it he was a jerk and denied all responsibility. Additionally a couple other items arrived broken. They then threatened to sue us when we withheld our payment until we determined the cost of the damage. The people I have interacted with there (not including the actual movers) were all unpleasant and aggressive. I will never work with them again. I would give zero stars if I could. We ended up just paying them in order to not have to interact with them further. read more
