Great experience grabbing a coffee from Knowledge Perk this past weekend! They had great service that was very helpful with the drink items, and it was a coffee shop where you can relax, unload and actually get some work done. I spent hours there working on my book on their couch and it was a very peaceful environment where I could type away! Will definitely be back, and I'm excited to try their food items next!

Stopped by this cute cafe on the way home to Raleigh - ordered two vanilla lattes with oat milk (they do not have soy milk, but no biggie). Took about 5 minutes of wait time. And this vanilla latte beats out the Starbucks version by a MILE. Not as sugary, no lingering taste, their vanilla tastes less fake lol. Honestly this latte from KP is my new favorite! Too bad there isn't a location closer to me in Raleigh/Fuquay! 10/10!!!

Welcome Knowledge Perk 2. In the space that was formally Mister Changs & just open. This is an expansive space in a great location at the corner of Hiway 160/Steele Creek Rd & Hiway 460/Gold Hill Rd right on the edge of Fort Mill & Tega Cay. They have lots of coffee choices as well as teas & smoothies. You can get beans and they will custom grind at no charge as well. They have a few light food choices, muffins empanadas and various flavored food bars. I asked if they could micro the empanada & the dude said it stays warm in the server. I got it, unfortunately it was cold so that was disappointing, I tried the oat meal bar it was very tasty, a bit on the sweet side but good. I asked for a bold drip & asked what it was, he said it was a blend and had the bold & smokey flavors called Burn Rate, It was mehhh. You roll the dice at times cause they don't really do taste samples for coffee, do they? It was just OK, a little on the acidic side with not a lot of bold flavor. Oh well sometimes you win, sometimes you close. You have the choice of 20 or 12 ounce cups. I opted for the 20 oz & for $3.45 a good value. The oatmeal bar was $2.95. The bar & empanada both came in large plastic containers, good for the environment? They have a huge natural wood common table which is beautiful central in the main room. Lots of individual tables & power outlets. The staff were all nice, knowledgeable & professional. As I was leaving the young man behind the conunter said 'hope everything was good'? 'I said the Empanada was cold' He said, 'oh, I'm sorry.' and then just looked away and went back to what he was doing. I said 'well most business would offer a future credit on another purchase.' He turned to a lady standing behind him and the next thing I know she's telling him how to create a refund. I told them I didn't want a refund, I would prefer a credit toward a future purchase for similar amount. It turns out the lady was Jennifer, The Manager. She said, next time you come in, just tell them Jennifer said you had a credit. I hope they make it, I would like to see them be successful

Two words. Coffee flight. I love coffee and have been seeking out flights. Knowledge Perk is right around the corner and I finally had a day to enjoy with my husband. The inside feels like a typical coffee shop with wood accents and various places to sit. We were greeted and took a second to look over the menu. I landed on the iced latte flight which included blueberry muffin, brown sugar cinnamon, chocolate strawberry and london fog tea. All were delicious. The chocolate strawberry was my favorite. I had no idea fruit and coffee could go together that well. We also ordered a cinnamon pastry. It was brought out warmed and was delicious. It was like a croissant and cinnamon roll combined. I wish there was a little more of a selection. Many tables were taken when we were there. Lots of people working or on laptops. Our drinks took a little while, but I was essentially getting four small drinks. I'll be back to treat myself.

No more randomly bitter or over sweetened coffee. This is an actual coffee shop. Real coffee shop.

It was soft in the middle with just a little bit crunch on the edges. I also had the club sandwich. It was much bigger than I expected and very filling. The indoor playground was awesome. Mrs. K. and I stopped in after our shop and settled in with two excellent coffees and a piece of cranberry loaf, which turned out to be just the right companion for a quiet late morning break. The space is calm, comfortable, and set up in a way that makes it easy to linger, and I could see myself opening a laptop here for an hour or two without feeling rushed. The seating is arranged with enough breathing room that conversations don't echo, and the overall atmosphere leans more toward neighborhood café than anything corporate. It's the kind of place where you can hear the espresso machine but not the world outside, which is exactly what you want when you're trying to enjoy a cup without distraction. Everything we had was well prepared. Parking is plentiful, though I imagine the lot fills quickly before and after services, so timing might matter if that's a concern. For us, it was an easy in and out, and the visit felt like a small discovery in a part of Charlotte that doesn't have many independent coffee options. We left feeling grateful to have found a spot that delivers good coffee, quiet seating, and a sense of local character in Steele Creek. [Review 24 of 2026 - 4524 in North Carolina - 25215 overall]

I ordered a zucchini quiche and nitro coffee, my SO ordered drip, cortado, and empanadas (Patagonia, spinach, and breakfast). I thought the cortado was delicious. The drip was very weak and the nitro bitter. The quiche was just slightly over salted. I liked the spinach empanada, but found it heavy on the salt too. The Patagonia was pretty delicious and had great flavor. When I took a bite of the breakfast empanada, I couldn't name any of the ingredients in the filling. Overall, gave me the caffeine boost and sustenance I needed, but I probably wouldn't return.

The bread was like an afterthought, only meant to cleanse the palate so that you could separate the salad and the frittata.
