I made the reservation over a month in advance and even paid an additional **$189 in resort fees** for **Westgate Las Vegas**, receiving a confirmation afterward. When I called Westgate directly to confirm the reservation, I was shocked to learn that a reservation had been made and **cancelled the same day it was created**--without my knowledge. I then spent hours on the phone, only to be transferred between multiple **timeshare marketing companies**, none of which took responsibility. I was ultimately told there was nothing they could do on such short notice and that I needed to make other accommodations. To make matters worse, I was contacted by a third-party timeshare broker involved in this situation and was told--while driving to Vegas with my son--that I would be charged anyway. At first, they refused to issue a refund and would only communicate when trying to sell the package. The **resort fees were never sent to Westgate**, yet they kept my money. Eventually, I received a text admitting they made a mistake and promising a refund. **It has now been over a month, and I still have not received any refund or follow-up communication.** This experience caused unnecessary stress, ruined our trip planning, and feels extremely deceptive. **Please do not waste your money--this company operates like a scam.**

Transaction Date October 10th 2025 Order Number: 7920491…read moreAmount Paid $139 Business committed to provide to me and my wife: $200 gift card and a stay in the hotel Marriot Hotel in Orlando. Business falsely claimed they were the Marriot hotel themselves and falsely claimed that my wife had won a gift card at the marriage conference she attended. - the business is attending these marriage conferences to scam vulnerable people - was hiding their business name and pretending to be a more legitimate company like Marriot. was claiming that I just have to pay a small fee for hotel local taxes for the hotel stay which is normal so it made me think paying $139 was legitimate. - the business was giving everyone who attended this "prize" in the form of a phone call that is used to lure people into a timeshare or just to simply take their deposit - the phone sales people are deliberately misleading people so they sign up - was scamming vulnerable people, we took their call while we were in the birthing suite for my newborn girl, my wife thought this was good luck. Once I got the confirmation email and found out the real company name and terms of the confirmation by email, my wife was dismayed, she knew we would be losing the deposit and not getting the hotel stay and not getting the gift card. Effectively we knew we had been scammed once we got the confirmation which of course was after the payment as this was done over the phone under false pretenses with plenty of deception. The confirmation showed that hotel was not the same as discussed, the company was not the same and it was a timeshare not a normal hotel. - at no point in the phone call was there any mention of a timeshare which is pretty obvious because they were acting under another business name "Marriot" - the company tries to increase their legitimacy by pretending to be "part of the marriage conference venue team", "part of Marriot hotels" - they also lied during the phone call saying this was a new Marriot Hotel that we just opened up and made up an elaborate lie that due to the hotel opening soon they had a prize for a select few people at the newly wed conference due to their partnership with the conference to "try it" as a promotion. The story was completely fabricated so they could scam my wife and I. I did reach out to them to get a refund which was denied of course but this is not surprising given all I have typed above. My wife and I learned my lesson we got burnt by this company. Companies like these cause a general mistrust of all companies and make it much more difficult for legitimate companies to do business. We are going to be very cautious from now on. It is a shame so many other people will be getting scammed also by this company "Always Travel with Us LLC"

I got a call and a voice message claiming that I won the award from the bridal expo I had attended, but the company name was not mentioned. The voice message explained that I had entered my info on a tablet when I first entered the convention center and I remembered doing that. I remember that prize being advertised as a gift card to Target. I called back hoping to collect and the lady congratulated me on winning a Visa card and needed my fiancee on the line to share other great news. I got my fiancee and she exclaimed that we won three free nights in Las Vegas at the Burkley, to be used within a year. The catch was that we needed to collect our gift within 6 months. Well we were skeptical and I (dumbly) (hindsight is 20/20) decided that we'd just put our card down for the deposit to hold our reservation to collect the gift in September, and then we'd cancel if we needed to. After the phone call we decided it was too expensive to fly or drive to Vegas to collect this gift and that we wanted to cancel. I called 30 min after the original phone call to cancel receiving the prize. Surprise surprise, NO REFUNDS!!! We lost $129 in deposit money because they held us on the phone and reiterated how loyal and legit of a company they are and that they'd never due anything to damage their reputation. Also, we could not transfer the gift to someone else. Again, hindsight is 20/20. DO NOT ACCEPT THEIR OFFER AND PLEASE READ OTHER 1-2 STAR REVIEWS!!! Edit to add #1: They would not let me cancel this trip at all, only reschedule, so I am still getting updates. Edit to add #2: This was explained to us as a tour, NOT a timeshare. SCAM. Edit to add #3: The "owner" replied to this review on Google and it was not relevant. Maybe a bot.

On December 18, I canceled via both phone AND email -- well within the 24-hour window I was told about, and more than 24 hours before my December 20 flight. Their own terms state cancellations must be made "at least 6 hours before departure." I met that easily. Despite this, they processed the charge and have not responded to my cancellation requests. No confirmation, no callback as promised, nothing. I have timestamped emails proving my cancellation. I'm now disputing the charge with my bank and filing complaints with the BBB and Florida Attorney General. If you book here, get everything in writing and be prepared to fight for your refund.

Nearly 7 Hours on the Phone. Still No Resolution. Avoid…read more If I could give Expedia zero stars, I would. I have contacted Expedia more than six times over an unresolved ~$800 flight credit, spending over 6 hours and 58 minutes on the phone with at least four different representatives. I have gotten nowhere. The misinformation has been relentless. First I was told I could use my credit directly with the airline. Then I was told I had to wait a full year from cancellation. I waited. I was then told the issue was resolved and to contact the airline, which I did, multiple times. Every single time, the airline confirmed the same thing: they refunded my ticket to Expedia over a year ago, the credit is sitting open on Expedia's end, and Expedia needs to release it. Yet Expedia keeps closing the loop on their end and telling me it's fixed. I even have emails from them saying so, while nothing has actually changed. To make matters worse, multiple representatives refused to transfer me to a supervisor until I asked five or more times and got extremely firm about it. That alone says everything about how Expedia treats its customers when things go wrong. This is not a miscommunication. This is deliberate obstruction to force me to rebook through Expedia after I've had nothing but bad experiences with them. I will not be intimidated into using a service that has treated me this way. I am now pursuing formal complaints with the BBB and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and am looking into small claims court. I'm sharing this review so others know what they're getting into. Book directly with the airline. Save yourself this nightmare.

I am extremely upset and disappointed with my experience booking through Expedia. What seemed like…read morea convenient travel bundle turned into a frustrating and expensive lesson in how easily customers can be trapped by hidden non-refundable terms. Expedia promotes its flight and hotel bundles as simple, convenient, and cost-effective. Unfortunately, what is not clearly communicated is that many of these packages include strict non-refundable conditions buried in disclosures and fine print. These terms are not presented in a clear, obvious way during the booking process. Instead, they are hidden within small links and policy pages that most customers would reasonably assume are standard information. When plans change--which is a normal part of travel--you quickly discover that the reservation cannot be modified or refunded. By that point, the payment has already been processed, and Expedia simply points to the hidden disclosure as justification for keeping your money. What makes this even more upsetting is the lack of support once the problem occurs. Customer service repeatedly falls back on the same explanation: "Those were the terms when you booked." Meanwhile, the customer is left feeling misled, frustrated, and financially stuck. Expedia points to the airline or hotel, and the airline or hotel points back to Expedia. In the end, no one takes responsibility, and the customer loses their money. This experience feels incredibly unfair and deceptive. If something is truly non-refundable, that information should be clear, bold, and impossible to miss before payment is completed. Instead, the current system allows important restrictions to remain hidden until it's too late. Travel companies should operate with transparency and fairness. Unfortunately, my experience with Expedia left me feeling deceived, disappointed, and taken advantage of. Because of this experience, DO NOT USE Expedia and instead book directly with airlines or hotels where policies are clearer and customer support is more accountable.
