It is only worth fixing on my machine if the rest of the machine is in decent shape. Victor checked it out and found it is worth fixing. But before going to that expense he did all he could to give them a bit more life. I'm sure I will have them replaced relatively soon. He could have encouraged me to buy a new machine instead, which would have benefited the store and cost me much more. He didn't do that. I so appreciate his honesty.

In December 2024 I purchased a very expensive Embroidery and Sewing Machine (about $8,000.00) from…read morethis store. At the time of purchase I was given excellent service. I later returned to the store to purchase fabric and other items. July 29, 2025 I purchased some items including a ruler that cost $42.50 + tax. When I got home I realized I already had the ruler and about 1 week later tried to return it in it's UNOPENED package (I live in the hills so it is about a 30 minute drive to the store so I didn't immediately try to return the item). I was told they do not give cash refunds, only store credit because, quote "some people abused the return policy". This is a violation of Washington State Law but they don't care. I took the following information from Washington's Consumer Protection Agency's site: 1. Disclose the return policy: Retailers must clearly communicate their return policy to customers before they make a purchase. This can be done through signs in the store, information on the receipt, or on the retailer's website. 2. How many days does a customer have to return a product under Washington's consumer protection regulations? Under Washington's consumer protection regulations, a customer has seven business days to return a product for any reason. 9. Minimum Return Policy Disclosures - Retailers must clearly display their store's minimum return policy -- whether it is no refund at all or store credit only -- on all signs and receipts. I have decided to keep the ruler and never do business with them again. Nowhere is it posted in their store about the return policy, it is attached to the receipt which you get AFTER you have paid for the product making it non-returnable. Of course, I doubt that they care if I come back because they already got the big money from me.

Great store! We…read morevisited 4 different quilt shops on this day. This was the second one we stopped at. Obviously, we love visiting quilt shops and stores with fabrics. They have a nice selection of fabrics and accessories. We also loved going through all their clearance items. In addition to fabric and sewing items, they also sell Husqvarna machines and have sewing foot and items for those machines. The cashier was friendly and helpful. We can guarantee that we will definitely be back.

There was a tiny corner in the back with fabric and a few odds and ends throughout. I was in the store for no more than five minutes saw everything and left. Clerk who I guess was the owner was hiding in her plastic corner. Never came out to assist or ask what I might be looking for. You would have to hand the yardage to her and she cuts it behind her glass/plastic partition. Not a positive nor friendly experience.

(Okay, you called my bluff! Yes, we did.) Firstly, Center Diamond has a fabulous selection of fabrics and the prices are more reasonable than you'd expect. The fabric is sorted into themes and by color-- a feast for the senses! Maybe it's because I've spent most of my time at Joanns (R.I.P.) I was delightedly surprised that they carry flour sack towel fabric. It had never occurred to me to make my own kitchen towels! They have an extensive variety of tools and notions as well as fun vinyl decals to showcase one's sewing love. There's a great selection of patterns with finished samples for inspiration and several kits and a mahoosive selection of stackers, fat quarters, and jelly rolls. The staff was wonderful here! They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and fun. We bought a pattern and they even printed it out for us. My daughter and I can't wait to return! If you're a fabric crafter, do yourself a favor and stop into Center Diamond, you won't be disappointed!

There are so many goodies packed into this charming shop! I got there a bit late in the afternoon but the shopkeeper was very welcoming and encouraged me to take my time as she was doing inventory. I'll definitely come back when I return to the area!

The old downtown feel was welcoming with book stores, coffee shops, and bakeries with plenty of parking right in front of the shops. Sisters had such a fantastic selection of store made/selected fabrics, kits, patterns, and fat quarters that you will find plenty of wonderful things to take home.

I finally decided I wanted to make a quilt no matter how rude they were so I put on my big girl panties and tried again. Imagine my surprise when I walked in the door to find a new owner with a kind heart and a ton of patients. I've done a few quilts now and see no sign of stopping. So made a suggestion that someone print on the passport that fabric is prepicked. The person helping said if you don't like it give it to someone else this is the way it has always been done she even repeated this as I was going out the door. Rude communication to a new customer. I had found about $60.00 of fabric on her website and was hoping to have the free one yard complement the fabric I would have bought from her. Will never purchase from her, took the wind out of my sail!

Stopped in at Ewe and I Yarn Shop with my sister on a road trip from Vancouver, WA to Seattle. It…read moreis located in Chehalis, a charming little town next to Centralia. The shop is a hidden gem with a warm and inviting atmosphere. While Ewe and I is mainly a yarn store, they also have supplies for spinning, weaving, and felting, as well as craft classes. One side of the shop is Shonda's Food Cafe with hand pies, coffee, and baked goods. There are tables where you can sit and eat, but they were all taken when I was there on a Saturday in the late morning. They offer gorgeous yarn, such as the Alp Natural in the photos. The staff is kind and helpful, cheerfully winding my yarn without complaint and talking about possible patterns I could use with the yarn. I wish I lived near this shop so I could visit often.
