The next morning at 9 am, I walked in and was greeted warmly by the front desk. I filled out some paperwork and waited a few minutes before Karla walked out to take me back to the room. She was soft spoken and gentle, and she asked me a few questions before having me undress and get on the table under a warm blanket with a pillow under my feet. She had a medium to hard pressure during the massage, and she didn't talk much, which I liked, so that I was able to relax. I had a few knots in my shoulders and lower back, and she took the time to work them out. I had the option of aromatherapy for free and chose peppermint. At the end of the massage I felt relaxed and pampered. She had a glass of water waiting outside the room for me after I dressed along with her card to make a future appointment. The first room was a wet room with 2 stone "beds" . Even though they used warm water at times , the room was cold and it made the whole experience a bit unpleasant . The sauna part was probably the best one. After the scrub/sauna part was over we got 20 minutes in the tea room. We were served fruits, 3 rally small but delicious cookies and watered down mint tea. The last step was a 90 min anti aging facial. The tech was good but nothing to be blown away by. As far as the cost, we paid $900 for 2 people, plus $240 tip for the therapists. The place was scattered with signs that suggested leaving a generous tip. Even the bathrooms had at least 2 signs. It felt a bit exaggerated and as I stated on the beginning, commercial. I don't mind spending the money for an authentic experience and unfortunately this place didn't hit the mark. They offer longer or shorter times, as well as local massages on feet, back, etc. Yesterday they had a holiday season special starting, offering free parrafin wax for hands or cupping. I chose the wax and it felt and smelt amazing. This establishment is very clean. The staff are always welcoming and generous, offering bottled water for the ride home.
