This was especially frustrating since he had already been an established patient and had been seen there just a few months earlier. The lack of communication and urgency was BEYOND disappointing. On top of the total lack of care for patients, they bill you above and beyond what they state while not even following through with obligations on their end. He's been taking very good care of me for quite a number of years now. As I said before, you do not get a bedside manner better than Dr. T. He gets excellent reviews on all the physician and medical sites on the web, and well he should! The only thing i have seen people complain about is that sometimes, you may wait an hour to see him because he is running behind. I never complain and I don't care because when he comes in the room with me, I am all that matters to him. If he needs to sit in the room with me for 30-40 minutes, then he will do it. This is the reason he runs behind. He takes the time to listen to every question you have and he cares about your questions. He then takes the time to answer each and every question you ask and he makes sure you understand everything. Personally, I'd rather have a doctor who runs behind sometimes because he takes the time with his patient, rather than have a doctor who always runs behind and still only spends 5 minutes or less with you. Dr. T rarely has time to take a lunch and I hate to even think how late he leaves the office each evening. I actually just scolded him today and told him he was working himself into an early grave by doing that - he agreed! LOL But he cares about his patients, so he's going to continue putting in those kind of hours. It's also nice to have my doctor walk in and actually KNOW who I am! The man has jokes too, he quite often makes me laugh with some of his witty remarks! :D Scott is Dr. T's medical assistant and he is SO amazing! He is so kind and he'll get to know you also. You won't be just another number to him either. Best medical assistant Dr. T has ever had and the best darn medical assistant I've seen anywhere! Denise is the phlebotomist in this office. Yep, Dr. T has his own lab in the office. Makes things MUCH easier when he needs to check blood and urine! She's really good at what she does. I'm a really hard stick and she gets me the first time, every time, and it never hurts. Like everyone else, she knows me well too and even remembers exactly where my "good" veins are. She's been there as long as I've been seeing Dr. T since 2007. I can't think of the name of Dr. T's triage nurse to save my life right now, probably b/c I've only seen her maybe twice and have only had to talk to her on the phone a few times over the years. But, she too is wonderful. She's great at accessing whatever your problem is and gives wonderful advice! I'd also like to mention Susan, who works at the front desk at check-in and Fay, who you'll see before you leave the office to schedule your next appointment and who will call to confirm your appointments. They are both sweethearts and they both have been there for as long as I've been seeing Dr. T. I think it really says something that so many staff members have been with him for so long! There are a lot of other people who work in this practice that I really don't have much contact with, like some of the women who answer the phones. But I've always had a great experience with every staff member in this office. Zero complaints. I have to leave messages for Dr. T often because he keeps a close watch on my blood sugar readings. He always gets back with me asap! Before the remodel, the office was really nice, but now it is quite lovely. The waiting area is large, well decorated, and has really comfy chairs and couches. Everything is extremely clean! You'll also find free wifi here. Dr. T's office is in the Baptist Hospital Pavilion, so you'll be able to tap into the free wifi offered by the hospital. Bonus! I want to touch on the waiting thing again. Like I said, there have been times I've waited an hour or more to see Dr. T, but this generally only happens when I call in at 8am with an emergency and have to be worked into the already full schedule. It has happened several times with scheduled appointment, but not very often. The average wait time is approximately 30 minutes. But, there have even been times when I'm being called back before I can barely have time to take a seat in the waiting area. Dr. T is an internal medicine specialist, but that doesn't mean he can't be your general practitioner. In my humble opinion, it's always best to have an internist as your general practitioner anyway. To close, I'd just like to say again that Dr. T is wonderful and I promise you WILL NOT find a better doctor anywhere else!

Drove 2.5 hours from Savannah for two MRI appointments that were booked at a location that does not…read morehave the equipment I specifically required. Repeated misinformation from call center scheduling staff, confirmed appointments ignored, with no resolution except another booking on a different date for another 2.5 hour drive each way. The imaging technician at this location was professional and courteous -- this review is about everything else. After a 30-minute call full of contradictory information from call center employees, I was booked for two upright MRI appointments at the Gate Parkway location and drove 2.5 hours from Savannah, GA to attend them. On arrival, I learned the Gate Parkway location does not have an upright MRI -- the specific equipment I had explicitly requested and been confirmed for. The resolution was to rebook me for a later date, meaning two round trips of 100+ miles each way for a single appointment. The scheduling failures, in sequence: Doctors in Savannah, GA, sent scripts for two MRI examinations -- one of the cervical spine and one of the right shoulder. When I called to book, the representatives could not locate the scripts, then found one, then claimed they found two but that both were duplicates until the realized the scripts were distinct. This consumed the first portion of a 30-minute call. I made one requirement explicit throughout: both MRIs had to be in an upright machine, as pain prevents me from lying motionless in a horizontal unit. I was first told neither the Gate Parkway nor the Mandarin locations had an upright MRI. When I said I would cancel, I was then told Gate Parkway did have a UPRIGHT MRI. I was then told back-to-back same-day appointments were impossible -- only to be told they were possible, and they were booked. At this point of my exchange with the call center employees, we have four contradictory answers regarding equipment availability and four more regarding scheduling. You may wonder, why didn't I call locations directly and avoid the call center fiasco. I did. My calls were rerouted to the call center. Following the booking, I completed all required pre-appointment steps: uploaded my ID and insurance cards, filled out the intake forms, and confirmed both appointments. Despite this, I received daily text messages prompting me to book and confirm appointments I had already made and to upload documents that were already uploaded. A technician came to retrieve me twenty minutes after my appointment time. When I mentioned I had driven 2.5 hours from Savannah specifically for an upright MRI, the technician -- relatively new and unable to speak to the matter authoritatively -- confirmed the Gate Parkway location does not have an upright machine. Staff at the front desk were apologetic but unable to resolve the situation. An attempt was made to redirect me to the Mandarin location that same day; it was closed. The outcome: a wasted trip and a rebooked appointment, requiring a second 100+ mile drive in pain at a future date. Management must be aware of this call center problem. It's their business, and culpability is with management. June 2026
