Lowes staff are almost always friendly and helpful and ask you if they can help. This particular trip to Ohio for a move out/move in, I decided to remodel the last bathroom to do. I found my contractor and we discussed I'd be buying from lowes as ALWAYS! and would wait a few days before I go there to order stuff. He was worried that if I waited we might not have everything when we need bec we are on a time crunch of starting June 12 and ending before the 23rd for the new tenant. I live in California now. So we decided I'd order and he'd drive from Lakeside (an hour and a half ONE WAY) to pick it up. Lowes sent me daily text and email telling me to pick items up and I would call them and ask to hold it all and when it is ALL in he'd go get it so it's only one trip. The young lady never gave me her name, but informed me every call that she knew and the manager approved. That service got them a 5 star. Thank you. But I got a call from a different girl on the May 8th telling me everything was there and needed to be picked up, I explained the situation and asked her if she was sure it was all there, she said yes. The contractor sent one of his guys that was in the area to pick it all up on the 9th. The young man that picked it up, TRUSTED LOWES was giving him the whole order. The young man took it to my storage. I flew in and discovered on June 10th that the shower faucet set is missing and 18 pcs of tile. I contacted the contractor bec I thought it would be better the young man to go in and see the lowes employee he dealt with so he could get the missing stuff. As of today, the 16th, I was told they are not taking care of it. I reordered the shower set and now it's not going to be here until the 21st!!!! Putting us waaaaay behind. I'm so disappointed and unhappy with the way this is all going after spending thousands of dollars at Lowe's and doing that on the regular. I've remodeled 4 kitchens with lowes and planning on doing several more, in fact I stopped in to see Elsa to extend my black kitchen cabinets into my dining room on my 2nd day of landing here. So yesterday my contractor pointed out that the shower pan box has already been opened and when we pulled it out, it has damage. It was obviously a return that got put right back on the shelf. My contractor called Lowe's to exchange and they said they had none in stock. On his way home he decided to go ahead and just stop and looked and he found 2!!! Another damaged one and the one he had them pull down from above rafter and it was good so he bought it. Now I have to return a shower pan and I have no car bec this wasn't part of my plans. I am so disappointed this whole purchase was a mess and I am holding Lowes responsible for it. I get it's hard to get people to work now-a-days and care, but we have got to do better people! I've bought a shower set for $210 twice and do not have one in my hands, paid for 18 pcs of tile that we did not get, and have a damaged pan to return. We haven't opened the shower glass doors yet so praying those are good!!!! I will be going into talk to the manager with hopes of this situation being corrected. Please check your cameras at the front desk where he was given the items and see for yourself that he did not get them on May 9th. I have detailed info if you want to call me :-) Please Streetsboro, Ohio Lowes! I hope to update this with excellent customer service or even remove it once this is all corrected. Great news! I will be changing this star :-) So far so good...I went in and talked to the manager and she was awesome!!! She did not push me aside or refuse to do anything. Instead she went above and beyond for me like I hoped! Missing tiles were taken care of and she's looking at the camera to get the facts on the shower faucet before she refunds me for one of them. I have positive vibes this is going from a bad review to an excellent one!!!! Thank you, Allison! I appreciate that you did everything to give me EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I appreciate you taking care of me and seeing to it that I get my money back on the faucet. I know it was very time consuming to view the video recordings during a time of being busy and understaffed. Thank you sooooo much! I love lowes bec of the customer service and you are proof and a great remodel to your team. I've bought several kitchens from you and will be buying more in the future as well as everything I buy from you for my remodeling jobs ;-) Yhanks again and you've kept a happy customer!

I was in the back of the store with two men filling out paperwork and getting the process started. Final check out was at the front of the store. I come up and explain I'm buying the mower and need to sign up for the credit card offering. The young man working the counter asked me if I would like 5% back on the credit card. I said sure why not. not realizing the offerings were either 5% back or promotional period of 48 months interest free. The young man signed me up for 5% back on a 4,000$ purchase that now has an interest rate of 27%. I paid 3 payments and owe more than I did when I initially purchased it!!!! I called once I noticed and got in touch with them and the credit card company. I was told they would honor it and fix the mistake. A month later I get a email stating they cannot approve my request. After paying 600-700$ in interest on my interest free card, I had to pay off the balance of 4,021.99$. I would have never purchased this mower if it wasn't for the interest free promotion they were running. I will never in my life do business again with Family Farm & Garden. It was my first and my last time. I wish I would have gone to Tractor Supply or Royal King. Please save your time and money and do the same thing.

Response to the Airgas company:…read more Hello, My 15-year-old son rode his bike to your Airgas company in Streetsboro. Ohio walked to the back of the unit where people ring the bell and someone comes out to service you. So at this point, all they know is that my son is on foot with a backpack. A 15-year-old handed the store manager $201.45 cash and asks for a container of nitrogen. They sold him the nitrogen container which weighs about 40 pounds. The store manager who sold it to him, watched my 15-year-old son put it into his backpack and walk away with it. He told me this when I called to complain about the sale. Why would your manager not question a 15-year-old buying a big tank of nitrogen? They use nitrogen to put death row inmates to death. Just about 30 seconds or less breathing nitrogen in will suffocate you to death. My son bought it for that intention as he was feeling suicidal. If he had succeeded your company would have a huge lawsuit. When I spoke to the manager about how upset I was and why he wouldn't think it was unusual for a young child to buy that type of a product and come on their bike and on foot he got scared and then hung up on me. Then I made a phone call to the regional manager, who said he would talk to the store manager. When the regional manager got back to me he said that the store manager thought it was for a school project. That a lot of times schools doing tech programs use nitrogen. He obviously had a lot of time to stew over what his answer was going to be all night. I don't know any school in the area that sends a student to buy a school product of nitrogen if they're using it in the classroom. Just trying to cover himself in some way. My 15-year-old son can't buy cigarettes or a beer, but he can buy something to kill himself from your company. I can't imagine nobody there would ask him what he was using a huge tank of nitrogen for. They just took his cash had him sign the receipt that he paid cash and let him go on his merry way, disgusting. On the receipt, it says no refunds. The police have the tank currently, but I can pick it up and bring it back to get a refund which is exactly what your company should be giving me.
