I could spend an hour reading the sayings on the tea towels and socks but I would be laughing so hard I'm sure they would throw me out! Great for gifts and stocking stuffers! They even have gratitude chocolate bars and bags of gourmet popcorn in flavors like salted caramel. Oh, my! The place isn't massive but isn't small either. We spent like 30 minute perusing and liked what we found. The folks running the shop were very helpful and very nice. They all seemed to have played a lot of board games! Prices were where we expected them - not a discount shop, but nothing crazy. Very much what we expected to pay and based on the Pokémon ETB and two board games were walked out with, I'd say we're fans!

Yes, they do! One person's oddity is another's treasure. The first floor has shelves loaded with dishes, glass wear and serving pieces. All arranged by color or designer or function. Clearly they care about how items are presented and it makes it so much easier for the customer. For example, there was an entire shelf filled with depression era green glass dishes and serving pieces. No need to hunt, it's right there for the taking. On this floor there are also lots of books, dvds and albums. Vintage clothing, some beau winter coats and jackets amongst the collection. If you, your man or child wants cowboy boots, there are dozens and dozens in every size! Wow! An amazing collection. A wall of wooden masks, beads you can scoop for $5 a bag, statues, knives, tools, paintings, toys, the list goes on and on! Downstairs is where they have the majority of furniture from near and far. Some truly beautiful carved wooden pieces and doors, just waiting for the right customer. Those working there were busy arranging items but always greeted me and offered help. There are several sections that you can tell are collections by individual sellers. Unlike some of the reviewers, I did not see the Nazi memorabilia and I'm glad I didn't. While we need to learn and understand history so we don't repeat it, I fear that some may collect this crap for the wrong reasons. Hopefully it was removed based on the feedback from those reviewers. If I had seen it, I would have gone straight to the owner or workers with my concerns since not all owners read Yelp reviews. Located right across the bridge from Hood River, there are plenty of parking spots out front. It's a fun place to stop, I needed an hour as there is so much to see that time goes fast.

Hands down the best soft serve I've had so far and not to mention the dairy free option. I also picked up some gems from the record bins and had a good conversation with the couple about jazz. Would definitely go back here when I'm in Portland.

They seem to cater more to an older crowd, at least that's the impression I got by the types of clothing they carried. Casual polyester print dresses, loose tops, slacks. Oversized t-shirts and tunics. Some denim. Big, chunky necklaces. Lots of bling. Not necessarily my style but I won't ding them for that. Was on the hunt for mother-of-pearl earrings for a friend. My friend had just purchased a beautiful mother-of-pearl necklace and since its her birthday this month, my goal was to find complimentary earrings. After going into all of the higher end boutiques - Twiggs, The Ruddy Duck, Chemistry Jewelry, Plenty - I decided to wander into Dream Street Boutique. Right on the counter were 2 displays of earrings and a beautiful pair with mother-of-pearl stones dangling over a silver teardrop. At $28, that was beyond reasonable and they are perfect! The right stone, a little dangle and classic silver. Sold! Was so happy to find exactly what I set out to get and can not wait to give them to my friend. While I was there another shopper came in and told the owner that one of the tunics she bought had pilled during the first wash. She mentioned that she shops there frequently and never had that issue with other similar tops. Without hesitation, the owner went over to the rack, picked a new tunic top, and handed it to the women without even going through the whole, "let me see your receipt and ring up an exchange" routine. She accepted the return in good faith and without any hesitation. Now that is customer service! So while the style of clothing doesn't match my personal taste, I still give 5 stars for the customer service, the reasonable pricing and the fact that there are women for whom this style does match, and they can have a great shopping experience here knowing the clothes are backed with a guarantee.

While this boutique is located in downtown Hood River, the exquisite collection of thoughtfully curated goods would fit in any cosmopolitan city boutique. I wish this shop was located in Portland, not that Portland is cosmopolitan, but it's where I live! The lushious handbags, many from designers in LA or NY, get me every single time. My preference is always for nice leather bags with a simple but very unique design, without designer names and logos distracting from the quality design and material. At Plenty, there are plenty that fit this description. Sorry, couldn't resist the pun! On my recent visit I saw, and immediately purchased, a python clutch in an ombré design of orange, black, mustard and turquoise. Trust me, it's way more beautiful than it sounds! It's a standout piece that goes with and elevates any outfit. The clothing is made from high quality fabrics and very well-made. Mostly in solid shades of neutrals that work in everyone's wardrobe, with patterns and pops of seasonal color mixed in. Jeans, sweaters, jackets, shawls, capes, blouses, dresses - yes, yes, yes and yes. Casual or evening. Lunch with the girls or date night. Something for every occasion. There is always a unique collection of jewelry, shoes, and a selection of beauty products near the back. The staff is very friendly and attentive. If you are the type that needs a sales person's help to pull together an outfit, then this is your place. My preference is to browse on my own and seek assistance when I have questions and they seem to be able to discern the different needs. The items are high quality so the prices reflect that.
