Of the two numbers listed on their website, one is invalid and the other directs to a phone number not even affiliated with the farm. The poor lady who answered the phone was friendly and indicated Double Mountain incorrectly listed her number for reservations. So please do not call the number listed on their site for reservations since it's incorrect.

I initially advised Margo that I was going to propose to my now fiancé somewhere along the ride and well Marg and Laura Definitely help me out and made it perfect... The horses are great, staff is amazing and we had zero issues the day was legit perfect.... I'll have ridden horses before but my now fiancé has never been on one. They made sure to pick out the right horse for her and for a beginner she actually took control the horse and did not let it take control of her. People have to remember that horses are animals and that none are perfect, so whoever is reading this definitely plan a trip out there , enjoy the outdoors and have a good time :-)

What a great little place for hiking! I would call it more of a nature walk rather than a hike, but…read morethat's what makes it great for small kids or those in wheelchairs. There are two short trails that are less than a mile each. The Streamwatch Trail takes you along the water and even has a little underwater fish viewing area. There weren't any fish in March, but it must be pretty cool to watch the fish underwater during busier seasons. The Wetlands Trail takes you along a wooden boardwalk to literally go through a wetland area. Most of these trails are stroller/wheelchair friendly, but there are some parts that are on dirt and gravel, which may be a little trickier. There are also a lot of picnic tables along the Streamwatch trail, which would be perfect in warmer weather.

We took both the Wetlands and Streamwatch trails. You've got to be verrry careful right now on the oh-so slippery boardwalks of the Wetlands. It was very icy throughout the entire trail. The Streamwatch trail winds you through picnic areas, along the river, and by the underwater viewing area. We drove around past other trails and over to the family meadow and picnic area. Plenty of parking and the restrooms that were open were clean. There were a few structures and trail aspects that needed some tending to, but overall it's a lovely recreation area...peaceful now but probably loads of fun for families in the springtime!

Our 11 year old really loves this camp! This was her first year attending any summer camp and we're…read moreglad we chose Steve & Kate's. It's a tad pricey but you basically get what you pay for. It's about 90 bucks a day as far as I can recall but if your employer provides you with a Bright Horizon backup care benefits you can save a ton of money. Steve & Kates's offers a lot of activities for the kids. Kids arrive in the morning and get checked in by super nice staff who appear to remember most kids' names. Your child then gets to pick their preferred lunch. There's usually a daily special and pizza or a sandwich - which is available every day. The food (according to my daughter is so-so). Probably much better than any cafeteria lunch but also not the greatest. If your kid chooses pizza they only get one slice so if you have a pre-teen that eats as much as a grown man it may not be enough food. The good thing is that they do have unlimited sides available which include a salad, fruit and mashed potatoes. The activities are pretty great and your child will basically be able to do whatever they like best. Ranging from robotics to baking bread to making movies, etc. Kids even get to save whatever they have worked on during the day and you as the parent get to watch (or listen) to the content directly from your profile. One thing we really loved about this camp is that attendance is so flexible. No need to commit for an entire month of camp because you can literally pay as you go. Just sign up online, pay for a day and you just show up. Great camp!

She told us she was playing with a friend and fell and couldn't find anyone to help. The friend went around looking for a staff to help. When I reach out to speak with staff about more details about how did that happen. Staff was prohibited to speak with me and my husband. It's negligent. They have way too many kids and few staff not well trained to instruct young kids. I would never bring my kid here again.
