At first we were unsure how it would go, but fortunately they have been the best property management company we have dealt with to date. Stephanie, the "landlord" is super accommodating and very helpful. While we were there the fridge went out. Within two days not only were we provided with a brand new fridge, but Stephanie brought coolers over for us to store our food in until the fridge was installed! We also were the recipients of a new dishwasher when our old one went kaput. Stephanie and Corvallis Property Management take amazing care of their tenants. Wish we could have lived there longer. With our sometimes unfortunate extemporaneous life situations (which happens), the service and communication that Albany Property Management regularly offered was excellent, friendly and helpful. The Albany Property Management staff were incredibly responsive to our needs and requests, and they bent over backwards to make things work for our family. The two years we were in the Corvallis house were our first ones back from living abroad for decades, and we had had multiple property managers in other countries. Albany Property Management was easily our best experience and we appreciate them.

I thought it was strange they didn't do first and last. They charged for 1st month and a $4000 dollar deposi. The kind pretty girl explained you get it all back. It is just in case something catastrophic happened. She told me that normal wear and tear was acceptable and would not impact getting the $4000 deposit returned in full. It was all lies. in the end they absolutely lied and made false reports to keep all of the deposit. I am disabled confined to a wheelchair. So I had lots of help. Choosing Northwest Investment Management Services to manage my home as a rental is perhaps the…read moreworst decision I've ever made. I loved my home, and didn't want to sell after I got married. I thus decided to keep it as a rental. My first renter was wonderful. My second renter was letting the yard go. I thought a rental management company would help me ensure the house was kept in good condition. When I interviewed Rex, and told him how much the house meant to me, and how I was concerned that the yard was looking bad, I remember him telling me that he would make sure that I was proud of the house. In the 5-ish years that he managed the house, he did one walk through, and two inspections. The inspections were after neighbor complaints. Each time, I asked him how the house was, and he told me that everything looked fine. When the tenant finally moved out, we found: carpet soaked in urine, garage concrete soaked in urine, baseboard and molding chewed up, blinds chewed up, windows scratched, window screens ripped, about 1/4 inch of dog fur and dust on every surface, a shed stuffed with trash, mattresses and tires in the back yard, broken appliances, and more. In what universe would this be considered 'fine'?
