I looked far and wide for a safe home for myself and my senior pets. Even with a great rental record of 23 years, it's very hard to find a place for geriatric, large dogs. The first property didn't have a fence, but Tara did not give up! She found our current home where we have wonderful neighbors (dogs included) and the safest environment I could have hoped for. She also had no problem when I was given emergency placement of a foster child and welcomed him with open arms. My senior dogs are safe and happy in a home where no one minds an occasional bark here and there. My senior kitties are also so happy to have a wonderful home with lots of windows to watch the country birds flying by. My foster son has a beautiful yard and a room of his own in which to grow up. He can't wait until it snows! He's from the city and this country place is what he needed. We are close to the most amazing country school where he is thriving. Our neighbors are beyond kind and helpful. It's a beautiful little community in the woods. Tara touches base often and makes sure that everything is working well and that we are happy. When we had a heating issue, she made sure that the repairmen came immediately and that everything was taken care of in a jiffy. But the house and property is in such great shape that this was a one and only need. I've never had such an amazing rental experience. I hope that if you are looking for a home that you will contact Tara and see for yourself how she can change your life for the better. But within a year of hiring her the issues started... almost impossible to contact or get replies from, mismanaged property, irate tenants calling ME, etc. Once I realized that my tenants were paying rent and I was not receiving my portion, I terminated them. They paint right over the…read moremold problems, we were forced to throw out half of our stuff due to this and they moved us to another unit, moving new people into the moldy one. Second thing I will say is that it is very poorly managed. There are 2 service guys that are expected to do all of the work including mold control, pest control, etc. these are jobs that should have been left to professionals considering the extent of the issues there. We had multiple water leakage issues (both very minor) and it was merely painted over both times, it always ended up coming back through. I would personally choose another place for this price point, there are nicer apartments down the road and closer to the university for the same price, and the staff here (besides the service guys) tend to seem annoyed whenever one calls about a service request. Another issue presented to us when we had first moved in was break ins. We were broken into 2x by somebody that had the key (because they never changed the locks) and I constantly feared for my safety. We got the locks changed after, but the attempted break ins continued for about a week. The pool was closed all year, not because of COVID but because Benton county health shut it down. Cars would be parked in spots for Months and management never did anything about it. Mind you there is little to no parking here as is. The place was so smoke damaged when we moved in we could wipe tar off of our windows. This place was a nightmare at times, but sometimes bearable- that being said, there are better places for this price point.

Oh not to mention they have garages that fit a smart car and when someone parks on the other side of your garage you won't be able to make a wide enough turn to get into your own garage. Um. Inconsiderate? How about unsafe? It's not just that. But they played Christian rock on a loud speaker all day until the live band came back at 6 pm. So, extremely loud and inconsiderate to the apartment complexes behind the church, and endangering others by not social distancing at a gathering. "Love thy neighbor" I guess. The representative I spoke was mildly rude - an attitude that she had better things to do then to answer my questions or provide me with more information. Aside from that, it's kind of silly (I'm thinking of a different word) that a potential renter can't apply for a house if they haven't viewed it yet. I live 2 hours away and the likelihood I'll get to see the place before several other potential renters get the opportunity is Zero. It's a seller's/leaser's market in Corvallis. They have the luxury of being quick to get off the phone, rude, and having restrictive policy over the application process because it doesn't take any time to find another renter either way. If you have the choice between this company and another, consider this review an indication of how they might respect their tenants. That said they have some coveted listings, on paper.
