I know a lot of people have reservations paying top dollar for just a sandwich, but I'd say the quality of ingredients and flavourful sauces is totally worth it. I always get the holy cow sandwich with vamp sauce, but will occasionally get the chicken sandwich with lunar sauce. I did try the lemonade they had once, but to be honest, it doesn't quite fit my palate. The lemonade has some sort of seasoning in it. If you've had lemonade from East Asian restaurants, you would kind of know what to expect. They also give you a discount card that you can show for an extra 15% off when you visit. If you're in the area looking for a quick bite, I'd give this place a shot.

This was a hearty sandwich, well over a pound on arrival I'd say. Unfortunately, it was delivered rather cold but not their fault. The toppings options were very varied and appreciated but the sauce could have been more generously applied. This sandwich was crazy filling. The bread was fresh, soft, and sturdy.. and the patties were flavourful. I'm not a vegetarian but I was very satisfied with them and happy I chose this over chicken or beef options. Pricepoint is a big high for a veggie sandwich but I truly feel there is high value in their product.. Need to go in and remove the delivery from the equation for a clear review

I love the name of this Oakville establishment, the Sandwich Society, however I did not like their…read moresandwiches quite as much. Let me preface by saying that their OG The David sandwiches are not bad. The focaccia bread was nice, and the sauce is solid where they didn't overdo the truffle flavours. What they however overdid was the prosciutto. Sometimes in life, less is more. They just went 'ham' with layers upon layers of what tasted like the cheap San Daniele prosciutto (according to the website they used ones produced by local Niagara farmers), where in parts of the sandwich that didn't have the mozzarella cheese, the sandwich was inedible because it was so salty. By eating the entire sandwich, I would have exceeded the entire week's sodium intake. By the end, I had to throw a quarter of the sandwich out since it was so heavy and salty. Had they invested in higher quality prosciutto and included just two or three layers of it, it would have been a pretty good sandwich. I remember, outside the restaurant they said something along the lines of if someone ate a sandwich from Sandwich Society, he/she would not regret it like their EXs. But after having one, I experienced a certain degree of buyer's remorse. Remember, "we don't eat sandwiches because we are hungry. We eat sandwiches because we are members of a Foodie app called Yelp."

Nice and clean inside, the staff was friendly and very helpful with the menu. I decided to get a karaage side dish and a bbq pulled pork sandwich. The fried chicken was nicely seasoned and complimented with the mayo dip. The bbq pulled pork was very tasty but was a bit messy to eat with the sauce and the bun. Overall, I think this place is good and would love other things on the menu especially their milkshakes.

Mind you the reviews were all old over a year ago. Since COVID I do noticed most restaurants quality post COVID has gone down. Ambiance: It's pretty small with a few tables. Decor is pretty cute and modern. Also super clean with one unisex washroom. You order at the counter and seat yourself like a fast food place. Service: Service was good. The lady took our order and the food came pretty quick. We also got there at 1:30pm so it was empty. Food: We ordered a easy as pie milkshake which is like you apple pie in a milkshake! Pretty cool idea. The pics on the website looks great. However in reality it didn't look like the website pic at all. Just white milkshake. There are tiny chunks of apple/ cookies and a hint of cinnamon. But overall tasteless and not sweet. It's was like I was drinking ice milk with some texture. I was not impressed. We only took a couple of sips and it left a weird after taste so we didn't end up finishing it To share we got the Kimchi poutine. It was essentially fries that were not that crispy soaked with Kimchi and some mayo on top. It was ok a little underwhelming. The 3 sandwiches we got were different so we can try them all: 1. Sriracha honey Karaage chicken sandwich. The chicken was a bit soggy maybe from the sauce. The bun was fresh. The lettuce inside was a bit wilted. 2. Pho beef banh mi sandwich. The beef was a bit dry and the banh mi was tasteless with no flavour 3. Bbq pull pork sandwich. It was sweet and flavourful but again too much sauce made the sandwich a bit soggy. Pricing is fair. But probably won't come back. For $50 I can get better food elsewhere.

The restaurant interior was bright and clean with high ceilings and a nice vibe (no fluorescent lighting). The menu was varied. I ordered the Italian deli sub. The small is their 6" and large is their 12". Bread options were white or whole wheat. The staff member kindly walked me through what a fully loaded subs toppings were. We were handed our to-go bag and headed home. To my surprise upon opening the bags, the subs were individually boxed with a pickle served separately on the side. The size of the sub, the amount of fillings and the freshness of the ingrediants put together shops to shame! For the price point of the sandwich (~$17) I thought it was really fair pricing. This was truly a classic sub sandwich experience. I will absolutely be back for my next sub craving!

The man working behind the cash was very friendly and polite when taking our order. Hubby chose the sub with ham and turkey and I chose the turkey, Swiss and mushroom sub. The subs really hit the spot - soft sub bun with lots of fresh toppings and not too overly dressed with sauces. This is our fave sandwich chain these days for sure. Until next time Firehouse!

We arrived around 11am on a long weekend and they had plenty of tables available, but by the time we were leaving, all the tables were full. You need to order your food first and get seated after. They bring your order to you, but if you need a coffee refill, or milk and cream, you need to pick them up yourself at the station. Coffee refill was a challenge for us, since we had to go through all other tables and wait for the staff to refill our coffee, and even there were times they were out of milk and had to drink our coffee black. We ordered "Key West Eggs", "Crepe au Fraises", "Slow Roasted Lamb" and "Canadian Peameal Back Bacon". Our food was delicious and we would love to go back and try more of their menu items. The Balsamic Chicken (with bacon, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, spinach and pesto aioli) was fantastic, and had excellent flavours. The side dipping sauce was delicious. The Florence St. Sandwich (with tomatoes, artichokes, Asiago and sun dried tomato pesto) was good, but I didn't enjoy the flavours as much so would probably try something different the next time. I would have preferred to select my own bread since the ciabatta and panini was hard to cut through with a knife - it got messy. It would have been better if it was cut in half before being served to the customer to make it easier to eat. After ordering from the counter, there was sign to wait to be seated. Service just to get seated was extremely slow. In the end, we asked someone if we could seat ourselves, which we did. The food was then brought to the table, but it was confusing since we had to get up again to go to a different counter to put cream and sugar in our coffee. Although the portion size of the chicken and ingredients were good, the sandwiches were pricey considering there was no table service, and seating was disorganized. It would be difficult to host large groups or families here. It would have been ok to reduce the amount of chicken to cut costs and price since there were two thick layers of meat. Ambiance was good.
