Has gone downhill a *little* bit in food quality. They have a new menu and maybe a new cook. They remodeled recently and set up a stage for local bands which is awesome but that may be why I come here instead of the food. I used to make this my main stop for shrimp and oyster po boys. We got both today and I wasn't as impressed as I used to be, especially compared to Claiborne's po's. Bread was dry, and it wasn't dressed like it used to be. They replaced their ridiculously awesome hush puppies on the side with some frozen fries. Prices went up too. My foot long Oyster po was $24.99. I'll attach some pictures of the new menu. read more

Nobody makes catfish like Mississippi. This was such a fun Friday meal at the Knock Knock! You could definitely split this plate between two people but I think we all wanted leftovers to keep enjoying it! We were taking a break from seafood & decided to go here for a quick lunch. My wife had the Caesar salad which she said was quite good. I ordered a cheeseburger & fries. First I have to say that I ordered it medium & it actually came that way w/a warm but slightly pinkish color in the center. Most places " medium" burgers arrive "well done" but this one was cooked perfectly. Taste however was lacking. It had an odd (almost off?) taste to it. The fries tasted as if they had been fried in old grease. In addition Both restrooms were out of order & were being repaired so there was no place for us to wash our hands prior to eating. In general the bar/restaurant area was very, very DIRTY. The service from the bartender was best described as disinterested & it was not at all busy. Cleanliness is one of the main things I look for from an eating establishment. I don't feel that Knock Knock lounge made the cut in this area. read more

I was hoping to find a new place to frequent; this is a nice size, very nice looking bar with good food & service, but we could not stay due to not being able to breathe. It's an old school place that keeps it simple. Outside looks like it's a roadside place, but inside it's a great place! It's very clean, too. Bartenders are nice (loved Mitch and Mariah) and friendly! Food was very, very good! We had a good sampling: cup of gumbo, crab dip (yum), fried catfish and shrimp platter, and patty melt. I would definitely recommend this for a place to have a couple drinks and grab a bite! We want to come back for karaoke. read more

The beer is cold. The bartenders are friendly. The food is very good. But the best thing is the girl who runs karaoke on Wednesday nights. She's so pretty. She sings like an angel, and she always makes me and everyone else feel welcome. I just love to watch her dance. Just precious! read more

Knock knock was great! Good, standard bar fare (burgers and sandwiches that come with fries) as well as an extensive selection of seafood dishes. We had burgers and fried fish. Both were piping hot and delicious. The staff and locals that frequent Knock Knock were all courteous and friendly to us out-of-towners and we struck up a few conversations about the area, and our home town of New Orleans. Most of the patrons were there for a birthday, and they even offered us some birthday cake, we gladly accepted. They have reasonably priced pool and darts. There are also murals painted all over the walls depicting mermaids, beaches, jungles, and dancing islanders. Overall, Knock Knock was charming, reasonable, friendly, and delicious. I would definitely recommend it to those looking for a bite, a beer, and some local color. read more

So disappointed becaue i had the gumbo one night and an oyster poboy a few months ago and it was delicious...other people have told me to try a burger here since i was in desperate need of one. Well...not only was the prices wtong online so i was charged 4 more dollars than what was posted but the burger was barely cooked..instead of med rare it was rare rare...my dogs loved it but me not so much..the best part.. the fries..which i only had 10 in my box...hopefully with charging more money youd at least have the right amount of fries to go with the burger. read more

Good variety of seafood. Has two separate eating areas, in the Knock Knock lounge side, you can smoke, play pool and order food. On the restaurant side, Tony's, it is non-smoking which is convenient for all the non-smokers. Great homemade chips with Crab dip and the softshell crab po boy was excellent. I called in a to go order. I was told 15 min. I waited 20 before I left the house. I still waited 15 minutes when I got there. I wasn't upset that it wasn't ready. I figured at least it would be hot, I live just around the corner. I left a 5 at the bar for a tip and took my food home only to find it luke warm and some of my order missing all together. I have had the food there several times and it's always very good. , first time calling in an order, and I feel like l got taken. Won't be doing that again. I could have returned to the restaurant and gotten the remainder of my order but the food would have been cold at that point. read more

Keep an eye out because if you are not watching on the left side of the road headed west toward Louisiana you may drive right by this little sweet gem. They did not invest much money on flashy signage and the building is quite simple, and these little places, I have discovered, are the ones where you can find the best food. I went in here with the full intention of ordering some raw oysters because it was still April (a month with an "r" in it) but once over the menu I HAD to try the "Oyster Heaven" a platter with 16 baked oysters in the halfshell - 4 Knock Knocks, 4 Tuscany, 4 Bacon Parmesan and 4 Rockefellers. The Tuscany and Rockefellers rival the heavenly ones I had at The Hog's Breath in Destin but without the high price!! Next time I wont have to look at the menu, I want a 20 platter with 10 Tuscany and 10 Rockefellers. I liked that the place had pool tables, dart boards, the little game that has the claw that dips down into a bunch of stuffed animals (my daughter "won" a $5 little orange fox) and Knock Knock has a jukebox too!!! Even though I couldn't drink because I was designated driver, the drinks coming out of the bar area looked good; wish I could have had one. I want to go back here so bad it hurts. read more

Restaurant attached was the best food on the whole trip . Fantastic menu , seafood , prices , service etc . Go here first !
