If I could give a zero I would. This lady is a true scam. She will take your pictures and then go…read moreghost on you. She will feed you lie after lie on why she has not given you your photos back. If you request to get your money back she will respond with more lies. I would not recommend that anyone use her. I know the world we live in is dark but for you to just take photos and not give them and edit them to the owner is very creepy. It seems that maybe she has an obbsession with other peoples love story and ruin a lifetime memory because her personal life has went to shits.

I deeply regret hiring Meagan Gauna (Freckles Photo) and am writing my first negative review to…read morehopefully save others from the undue stress of making the same mistake. Highlights: - Showed up late and to the wrong venue (despite having been provided schedules and the venue address months in advance) - Missed roughly half of the photo opportunities we'd agreed upon her taking in-advance because of her tardiness & disorganization - More than 10 months and I still have yet to receive a single edited photo - Incredibly rude and unprofessional communication (when she even bothered to respond) - Completely ceased communications after repeatedly missing her own stated delivery dates There's a lot I could say but I'll do my best to keep it short. I shared a Google Sheet with Meagan months in advance and specifically asked for several shots. Some of the ones I'm most disappointed she missed were those of the bridal party & groom getting ready. I have absolutely none. When I sent the hair and makeup schedule showing we started at 10 am, she never mentioned she didn't plan on showing up until 4 pm when all but my finishing touches were done. Whomever you choose as your photographer (especially if it's Meagan) learn from my biggest mistake and never sign a photography contract without a clear delivery timeline in writing for your edits. Though I understand even more unanticipated unfortunate events unfolded in Meagan's personal life after our early talks about her "delays in workflow," being ignored for months after you paid a business for a service you still have yet to receive is unacceptable. I assumed edits would be processed in order of the date they were taken but she repeatedly insinuated any communication or updates I reached out for - about the work that was already months late - would mean she would just push my work down even further on her priority list out of sheer spite. This was a wholly unpleasant, unprofessional and unfortunate experience from start to finish. I have never worked with a small business that represented itself so poorly. Accountability, integrity & responsibility should not be your expectation if you choose to work with Meagan. I did receive the unedited photos several months into the endeavor but aside from that, no reimbursement, small photo "extras," or any form of restitution was ever offered for the endless delays or inconveniences. Additionally, it was implied that my priority in the editing process was pushed down the list because I did not consent to social media sharing & my images could not be used to promote her business. Meagan used to have a good reputation, and many people I know have been happy with her work in the past. I thought her prior good reviews (and personal experiences from folks I knew) would mean this would be a fun and seamless process. However, in my experience, it seems like she no longer cares about her clients, her business or her craft. Meagan is unprofessional, unreliable, and a huge source of stress--all things you definitely do not need when planning your wedding. The very last thing you want to be doing in the months following your wedding is having to hunt down the photos you rightfully deserve & you can't wait to see in their final form. Bottom line - If I could do it again, I would choose someone else in a heartbeat. Your wedding is a once-in-a lifetime event and you deserve a photographer who will actually deliver.

Firstly our photographer Francis was amazing and so helpful, everything else was questionable. Our appointment time was at 1:45 and we didn't take our pictures until 3:10 only for our shoot to be 10 mins. Online it said come on time so your time won't be taken and we got there on time. Meanwhile before we were finally attended someone came to their appointment and got taken care of in minutes. Just disappointed we had to be there way longer than we expected and pay for their poor time management.

The male manager there treats his female staff and female customers horribly and after calling back the so-called area manager today, it is apparent the district manager and he are buddies because he actually said to me *i* was the problem and he wasn't going to do a thing about the poor treatment I received. His nasty arrogant attitude was truly apalling. You honestly can't make this stuff up. My sister was witness to this horrid treatment i received, It certainly wasn't me, That is a fact, and, again, i have been going there for years never having an issue like this before. It was my sister's first and last visit there after the nastiness she witnessed by the male manager. I have spent a lot of money at this studio over these past almost 9 years now. I was also charged extended visit with cap and gown photos over clothes and sister who had one child was given outfit change plus cap and gown so *3* outfits total no extra fee charged yet her appointment took as long as mine did. The male manager took all her photos and none of hers were by the new female photogragher. I know how long her appt was because I waited to see how long hers would take. I knew it wouldn't be done in 15 minutes. What is even more preposterous was the fact I was rushed through and almost didn't get cap and gown photos which is what I mainly came in for. I had to beg for those photos. My boys were RUSHED THROUGH and didn't get the photos I came in for as boys and I were scoffed at with attitude by the male manager and they were scared and not smiling like they normally would yet *I* was charged extended visit. Sister, again, was not. My boys got the new female photographer with camera issues on top of it all. To be treated like this was shocking. It is HARD to get 3 young children bathed and ready and get there by 10 a.m. so you surely want to get the photos you came in for. I had to BEG for the few i got. I honestly don't know why I didn't whip out my phone and record this atrocity of an appointment but I refuse to let this go. You just can't get more obnoxious and unprofessional than that male manager character at the Cypress Jcpenny location. And I refuse to drive further to another jcpenny as suggested by corporate representative to get photos. That is absurd. I am NOT the problem here. The poor management at the Cypress Jcpenny studio is who flat out refused to open the 2nd studio just to be a cocky jerk to us since we didn't book extended visit which I have never had to do before. Yet when I called the district manager, he was as cold and ruthless as the store manager so a completet waste of time calling him back today. Somehow I knew it would be a waste of time and why I didn't return his call immediately. He was more arrogant then the store manager if that is even possible. I regret referring my sister just to have her witness this horrible treatment I received. Well, karma is real. We all know these studios are becoming a thing of the past. Nuff said.
