I had tried several quotes on Yelp and none seemed to be worth the price. When I stumbled upon her webpage / portfolio, the decision was pretty quick. She responded super fast and although it was last minute, she was able to fit me in on a Saturday. I prefer studio shots and her studio is HOOKED UP. She has all the cute props, baby outfits, headbands, pillows, backdrops and wraps in 100 color schemes- literally hundreds! I was also able to bring some of my own baby outfits. My baby did get fussy very soon after starting the session and she was so sweet with her to calm her down. Her turn around time with the final photos was good too. She is very communicative also. I was super stressed because the only day all kids were home from college & adults were available was Thanksgiving & Black Friday. Big order, I know. So, we were contacted by several excellent experts but none were available for the limited availability we had until Whitemoose Photography reached out and they had a photographer named Kapri who was available to come on Black Friday. There was an additional charge for coming on a holiday/Black Friday which I gladly paid and was so excited to finally get some good pictures of everyone together. The shoot was fun and Kapri brought a good energy and fit in well with all of us. Prior to Kapri coming I asked if she had a green screen or something to create different backgrounds for the senior pictures. She did not have a green screen but she brought a white sheet as a backdrop and said so she would bring a white backdrop so she could insert different backgrounds for the pictures and insert some fun backgrounds to our daughter's photos. We booked her Senior Pictures for the same day with Kapri. I asked before she left fter the shoot when we could see the pictures and was surprised to find out we needed to wait 14 days. Just to see the proofs. I let her know we would be traveling Dec 12-24 so if we could get them before the trip it would be something fun we could look at on the plane. Kapri sent a text 3 days before the promised delivery date asking if I had had time to review the pictures. Her email messages she sent never came through to my email or an alternate gmail account address I gave her. Thank goodness for the Yelp app because it allows you to send & receive messages as well as links to the pictures. When we finally got to see the pictures disappointment was the consensus of everyone that was in the pictures that saw them. I contacted Kapri and let her know that with her awesome energy and how much fun we had during the photo shoot we were all disappointed and surprised with the final product. Also all the senior pictures had a white background instead of different city scapes like we discussed and no filters were applied to any pictures. I don't know a lot about photography but I have several retired friends that are hobbyists. I asked for the digital pictures so I could send them to our friends so they could "fix" the lighting or angle or whatever was wrong with the pictures. So Kapri & I went around and around because I couldn't tell her what I didn't like about the pictures. Finally as a last ditch effort I sent her some fun family pj photos from a Google search I liked. After Kapri saw my vision her true talents came through! Using AI she was able to turn a sterile unflattering family picture into a warm holiday fun photo with all of our loved ones together! (The ages of everyone ranged from 18 to 84). Kapri said she forgot about adding the background for senior pictures and when she was done with those they were "fire" according to the younger members of our group photo and our daughter loved being able to take pictures at home instead of booking senior photos through the school photographer. I learned It's super important to communicate the spirit or inspiration of the photos. (The cap and gown photo never happened irl). Kapri was able to CREATE the cap & gown photo using other photos she took & a picture of the color of the cap & gown! I'm still gobsmacked by what a difference AI makes!

I had some girl friends take the pictures with a different photographer & thought the idea was pretty cool. I had never actually looked into it because I didn't know where to start or even look. My friend's daughter took her engagement pictures with Sevier photography. When I saw her pictures, I was convinced she was the photographer for me. I really wanted to take the boudoir pictures but I was a little hesitant because I didn't feel 100% comfortable with body. After I spoke to Sadie, I got really motivated & excited! Of all the professional photographers we have had Lauren was so patient and friendly to my 4 year old. Not many photographers understand that kids are kids and often get distracted or change their tempers quickly. Lauren was so kind to my daughter waiting on her even if she decided to throw a fit. Before our photo session Lauren called me several times to prepare. She sent me an idea of an outfit and I had the outfit handmade saving $60. Lauren paid so many compliments with how the outfit matched the picture she sent me of what she wanted my daughter to wear. Lauren also had a special necklace made for my daughter to wear in the pictures. It was so beautiful and matched the dress perfect. Lauren also bought a crown and painted it special to match my daughter's outfit. When we were deciding on a place for pictures, Lauren took a whole morning, drove out to my area clearly an hour from her, just to find the perfect place. She found a spot that I honestly didn't think was appealing. It was an old boarded bridge over a small creek. When Lauren got all her props and told Aurora what poses to make I was in so much shock to see how beautiful she made the environment come alive. If you would drive to this place you would never believe our photos were taken there. That is how much talent and creativity Lauren has. To see this place come alive through her lens and ideas was so cool. She danced around with my daughter played with her and even formed a good relationship with my daughter before the photos. I received my photos right away. I was amazed with how quick I got them. They are all so beautiful and I will forever have this memory captured. The color is gorgeous. I posted one of the many great pictures on my Facebook and before 24 hours got 100 "likes." My daughter to this day asks for Lauren and she even drew a special picture for her. I haven't mailed it yet but I will soon. If anyone ever wants to take family photos, wedding photos, and especially kid photos I highly recommend Lauren.
