They are a husband and wife team so you're actually getting two photographers at a good price. We met them at their house and I was a little hesitant at first. Nothing they did, I was just a bit worried about hiring individuals and not some photography studio. They assured me they had plenty of experience. I am so glad we went with them. Joelyn was quick to respond to any and all of my emails. When my daughter scheduled her engagement photos, Joelyn and Doug arrived early at the location. They took fantastic engagement pictures of my daughter and fiance. From that point on, we knew we found the right photographer. On the day of the wedding, we told them what time to be at the church and they arrived a few minutes early (coming from Cypress to Sugar Land). They took great care in getting the correct lighting and poses as my daughter was getting dressed. They never pressure my daughter to pose for anything she didn't want. They took time with the first look pictures and made sure all the family shots were good. If they noticed something wrong, they'd take another photo. At the reception, they took several pictures and honor any guest requests. It was so easy working with them. We actually felt so comfortable with them, we had them eat inside the reception room with all the guests instead of a room reserved for the vendors. I cannot recommend them enough. They acted like amateurs for the entire day, I paid for a second photographer and I received less than 200 photos. I was charged $400 for the wedding album but what I received looked like one of those small, skinny albums you can get half off on Shutterfly or Walmart Photo. They didn't follow through with the itinerary of photos we had previously agreed upon on paper. There were hardly any shots of us with our family and very few of our reception. They weren't in the room for the bouquet toss or garter toss so they missed all that. Thank God for our videographer! They were unwilling to take a tour of the venue beforehand even though the management was so graciously inviting them so they could get a feel for the place and show them some good spots to take photos. It was just a mess. They didn't have their stuff together and they weren't as professional as they should've been. It's the one thing I regret about our wedding. And if I could go back and do it over again, I'd choose another photographer. I give them 2 stars because the few photos I did get seem to be of good quality. They didn't all have the best angles or moments, but at least they edited them to look better.
