Sometimes, the business has use of items that we pick up on junk removal work orders, but the vast majority of the time we end up with a huge truck full of junk and waste that we need to get rid of. The Sanitation Convenience centers of Philadelphia are great for organic waste such as trees, brush and other organic debris as well as household trash if you are a citizen just looking to get rid of household quantities of trash or debris. The city has become very strict in regards to commercial dumping at these sanitation centers however and this city definitely doesn't need more trash thrown in the streets. Enter Richard S Burns. I've been coming back and forth to this place for the last few years and keep seeing the same employees - a surefire sign of health in a business. Folks are straightforward, but polite. They have scales present so you are sure you know what your total due is, and they are very good with facilitating travel in and out. Sometimes there is a crazy amount of traffic going on but the staff seem to know how to keep everything in control and to keep the place safe, which I respect. There are signs warning you to be careful when driving in - due to nails in tires and such. I haven't had any problems with this but I imagine it could be a bummer to experience. Overall, the folks here are good at what they do and I always feel safe in the yard. Please don't dump trash in Philadelphia - give a call to Richard S burns to either deliver a dumpster or to process your loaded truck full of debris.

Their prices are also very competitive and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs a dumpster in the Philadelphia area.

If you need a moving company, get someone who is professional. This man is not it. He moved my…read moreneighbor and he was disrespectful to the neighbors around him. He hit and destroyed the bouquet of flowers my neighbor sits on a table just to have something beautiful for the hallway. He blocked another neighbors door with the items being moved in. They were there far past the move in hours. I'm talking 1am and people have work in the morning. They were loud and kept the main door wide open after multiple neighbors asked to keep it closed for our own security. He personally asked me for a screwdriver, which I didn't realize until after he was a moving company (should he not have his own), and being the person I am I gladly offered my personal one. The screwdriver is part of a great set with multiple end bits. I thought initially he was moving in with the neighbor because he has no markings that would show he is actually a professional company. I told him please return it in front of my door when he was done. Embarrassingly enough for me that was 5 month ago. AGAIN me assuming (because there are no markings that he is a moving company, plus there were children running around) that he was one of my new neighbors I waited a month. I figured ok its been a month I can repo my screwdriver they will have to buy their own. My neighbor confused, told me that indeed it was a moving service and that she didn't even know that he borrowed anything from me. Thus started this long quest for just trying to get back what he stole from me. He has been extremely difficult and now it has come to the point where instead of him doing the right thing he has blocked me. Instead of saying I'm sorry, I misplaced it, let me reimburse you for my negligence, he has blocked me. I would NEVER EVER wish such a "man" on any person in the Philadelphia area. He is not one of moral character. He took advantage of kindness. No one has money these days to just throw away. If someone is kind to you you should not treat them poorly. Please also know his mailbox for his voicemail IS full. How do you run a business like that?
