Then they demanded payment in advance for her treatment plan based (supposedly) on one of the two insurances. I made an initial payment. They failed to properly file insurance and claimed that it just did not pay. I called the insurance company (Met Life) and they requested additional information but the office ghosted them. We went to try to complete the dental plan and brought to their attention I never received a print out of the account. They said that they gave it to my minor daughter and now that she is 18 (was not at the time) they don't have to give me anything. Needless to say we will find another, better dentist. My best advice, save your money and go to a professional dentist who actually cares about clients.

My granddaughter is in need of a root canal and this is the only dental office on her insurance…read moreplan. when this procedure was scheduled her grandfather had taken her in for the evaluation. they stated she could be brought in for the procedure and I could stop on my way home to sign for payment on my credit card. She got there before I did and was sent home because I had not been in yet. Strike one. When I arrived the price quoted to my husband was now doubled. strike two. when I asked to have this explained everyone became very defensive. I was told her insurance down graded the crown to a metal one and that they would not put this on a permanent tooth even if it was in the back of her mouth. In effect they doubled the price of the procedure and would not give me, as the person paying for this, any choice in the matter. Most root canals only last 10 yrs no matter what the crown is so I feel that I should have some say in this. Strike three. If I had any choice in this I would not be having this procedure done here. In effect this is legal robbery= quote one price, double it, and refuse any negotiation in the matter. Not my idea of customer service, especially when no one in the entire place is able to smile or even greet you pleasantly.

They always overbook. Back for her appointment this week and we have been in the waiting room for almost two hours past her appointment time. It's hot in here, it's crowded, and nobody is saying anything to the mom of the child running around hitting things. If we hadn't already paid in full for her braces we would never come back. Only positive I can come up with is that the dentist and the dental assistants are all nice. This place is just not run very well.

THEY WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY EVEN IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED ALL SERVICES! While the dental professionals may be ok, (although that's debatable because they put braces on my daughter's teeth before her mouth was fully expanded) their office staff is HORRIBLE. I scheduled my daughter on a Saturday, only to be told when we got there, she couldn't be seen except on Fridays. I did not reschedule another appointment right away. The office never called to get her back in for treatment. By the time I called to schedule her an appointment, there was nothing available and I asked to go to another Lovett office. No one indicated this wasn't a possibility without being treated as a new patient. I only learned this when the office called to confirm the appointment and told me to be in by a certain time to fill out paperwork. I finally was put in contact with the orthodontic office manager, and she scheduled an appointment. When we showed up, she commented "I don't know who told you to be here at 9:00." When I told her she was the one who told me what time to arrive, she began arguing with me until my daughter became embarrassed and visibly upset. We later scheduled another appointment to try to get cavities filled only to have that appointment canceled by the office. I sent certified letters to both the office manager and the orthodontic office manager as well as their corporate office. I know they were received because I have the receipts. No one ever responded. Finally, my husband went to the Baytown location to attempt to get our daughter's dental records, so we could go to another dentist. Upon speaking with a representative there, we were able to achieve this; however, we have still not received a refund for the service is not rendered. They deserve zero stars, but that wasn't an option.
