They have mommy and me classes every Monday morning for toddlers too! We love this place SO much. I have never loved a studio more! Or practiced yoga in a more comfortable open and loving space.

They have an unlimited 30 day new membership pass for only $30. While I may not be here for the whole month I do plan on taking more than three classes so I would be crazy not to practice here. I love that they have a variety of different yoga practices and each class is geared towards all levels of Yogi's. The studio is beautiful, clean, and very Zen. I brought my own mat but if you don't, they have plenty of mats, blocks, blankets, and pillows. I highly recommend Yoga Mindset for anyone looking for a yoga studio in the area.

I have certainly been to other studios that are very exclusive and if you don't go every day, you don't feel "at home". Radiance has a variety of super talented instructors. The only reason its not 5 stars is that some classes are super tight - I know this is standard for studios as its just the best way to maximize class sizes.

It was an impulsive decision to sign for a class that would start in 30 minutes and I'm so glad I did. It was a great class. If you're more experienced, I'd think it'd be a more relaxing yoga class, but if you're a beginner, this is a great class that helps kick off your yoga journey. I liked the fact that our Instructor Linda gave multiple options from easier to more way to make the poses and movements challenging. I'm really interested in becoming more flexible and hope to continue. The only challenge is that I'm not always in town. But when I am, I'll definitely attend yoga classes here. If you've never incorporated regular meditation into your yoga, start now - as it is one of the original 8 limbs. RE: owner Andrea - despite my being from out of town, she was warm, friendly, frank, helpful - and very knowledgeable of yoga, anatomy, health. I felt safe entrusting myself, my body into her sequencing. I'm no expert on Yin Yoga, but what I experienced was true to the style of Sarah Powers. I don't think it's a coincidence. Look carefully at the photos in the back of the studio and you'll find one of Sarah and Andrea (!) My ostensible reason for visiting was her David Williams workshop. The workshop ran for four days at a price I could afford. Although the other participants expressed shock and surprise I traveled so far, truth is - what I did wasn't even half so radical as David traveling to India to learn from Patabhi Jois, lol. I'm impressed and eternally grateful that a urban boutique size studio would host a teacher of this caliber. The gathering was intimate - not like those huge, impersonal yoga fests that go off like a rock music concert. The workshop was reasonably priced, the studio has ample parking and the general vibe is clean, well supplied with props, teas, water and goodies were available just like an olde time 70s yoga get together. I had so much fun at the workshop I decided to stay and take a couple of classes from Andrea herself and I was not disappointed. Here's the thing, in order to totally transform you have to let go. Letting go is scary, so you better trust the person you are dropping down to catch you. you can take that literally or metaphorically, take your pick. Alls I'm saying is, here I felt free to go. :)

The studio is small and personal enough to ask questions and be actively involved in the practice (not just atomatons copying the instructor), but I have never felt over crowded. You are truely challenged, you will sweat (and it isn't even hot yoga), and you will not get sleepy. Another great option is you can pay by class instead of by time period. I can get a package of 6 or 10 classes that don't expire for 90 days! For the business traveler like myself that can't get thier money out of a monthly membership this is perfect. And did I say the yoga is amazing?

If all you want is to go in and swim or just do a single class/workout it's kind of pricey, but I guess that's true of any Y, and it's why they encourage memberships. Worth it. They have some subsidized memberships available. And if you want to do beastmode/crossfit, the Y is much more cost effective than joining a local gym. You can sign up for swim lessons without a membership I believe, and the outdoor facilities are available to everyone regardless of membership. The building additions are fantastic, and there are so many classes to choose from: spin classes, jazz dance, Zumba, hiit, several kinds of yoga classes and a yoga wall. Always finding something new to try there. I like the giant mandala on the wall in the yoga/mediation room, it's a nice touch. Lots of machines of all kinds, the tvs, and large screen video classes on demand for things like kickboxing and a more curated weightlifting experience for newbies. They host regular fitness challenges which is also nice. Big group workout room with a mirrored wall. Popular place for birthday parties, has a splash pad, childcare center, and teen hangout room with air hockey, ping pong, pool, board games. The pool and whirlpool/sauna/steam room are great, great people, there are swim lessons on offer, and an awesome year-round competitive swim team for children and youth. Great beastmode/crossfit community, very supportive and knowledgeable. Handball courts. Gym/courts. Not sure why someone else referred to a track, since there is no running track per se. I use the paved walking trail around the soccer fields, wish it were a more forgiving material like wood chips but I guess concrete is more durable. The Y is more than a health club, it's about building community. This Y sponsors community initiatives/fundraisers/events and has twice yearly bring-a-friend and waived signup fee events. The community garden out back is an impressive, dedicated organization that donates lots of produce to local food kitchens. Nice big conference room. Administration has been helpful and friendly. Soccer program is wildly popular, they also host basketball, volleyball, pickle ball. The two reviewers who complained about trash on the playground both went there on a Sunday, I'm guessing it must have been right after a big soccer game day before they cleaned up since it's not usually like that from what I've seen. The check-in process is via a barcode scanner now. Locker rooms are good and clean.
