This spot was hyped up all over social media, and the donuts are truly nice to look at. We tried the classic blueberry donut which was tasty and the viet coffee 50% sweet which was super strong. Service was nice. Of note, we did see a few flies around the cafe that landed on the donuts.

The donuts and pastries here were good, but could've been better. I visited this Cambodian donut shop with a friend around 10am on a Saturday and our experience here was relatively good. Going down the list of donuts/pastries we shared: -Creme Brûlée Donut: Nice brûlée shell and the custard was sweet and creamy. -Guava Cream Cheese Cronut: Loved the guava cream cheese frosting which wasn't too thick nor rich, but I wish the pastry itself was flakier. -Croissant Bomb with Jalapeno: Meaty and buttery. It's nice that they can warm it up for you. I felt like there was only sausage in here and there was a lack of ham and bacon. Not really worth almost $11 in my opinion. While the donuts/pastries were generally good, I felt like the donuts would've been better if we came and tried them at opening at 5am. That fresh element was missing and the donut quality tasted and felt like they were sitting out for a while. There's a good amount of free parking in the lot in front of the shop. They also have some tables and seating to enjoy your pastries and drinks at. I'm unsure if I would go out of my way to come here again, but this is a solid donut spot for sure.
Knead Donut & Tea is a small, welcoming spot with incredibly friendly staff. The donuts were fresh and delicious, with new batches coming out continuously while we were there. You can really taste the difference when they're served warm and fresh. Definitely worth stopping by!
Straight forward customer service. Eccentric selection of donuts that are not your standard fare. Creative flavor combinations with some classics included as well. Good flavored donuts. If you're in the Long Beach area then chem 'em out!
They came out with a mango sticky rice donut... heaven. Coffee is always perfectly balanced between strong and sweet. We get the Zombie.

They also have croissants and savory croissants- like ham and cheese. The number of different beautiful baked goods to choose from makes you want to just spend all your money in this place to try them all. The service we had was also 10/10. The person we had was so kind and helpful. She was patient answering all of our questions and giving suggestions. She even found out it was my first time there and gave us a free sample. We got 3 cronuts, a ham & cheese croissant, a black sesame Vietnamese coffee, and a regular Vietnamese coffee. Everything was insanely good. I will say Vietnamese coffee is typically strong and sweet. It's nice here because you can control your sweet level, they have a whole sliding scale so as to make your coffee just right. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place! Definitely when you have a chance check it out.
I was hesitant to write a review, being from out of town I wanted to try it out. The selection was great, went early in the morning on Sunday. Tried the bacon, banana, strawberry, brûlée and guava. The bacon donut was a bit cold but tasty. Honestly they all were not as moist as I'm use too but taste good. Would recommend to buy the ones you plan on eating that moment. Although I left mine in the car and three days later ate the last guava it was still delicious. Not as good as fresh but great ingredients. Worth checking out if you are in the area. Guava was the winner.
Picked up a few donuts for the fam. Didn't realize these were going to be fancy donuts until I got to the place. There's a good selection of decedent donuts. The owner was kind enough to add in an extra free donut. The donuts were all pretty good - I heard their coffee is good as well, but since I don't drink coffee - can't say much about it. Overall - not my type of donut (I like the old school boring donuts) but the execution and pricing fits. If someone is looking for a fancy donut, would rec this place!

6 donuts for $30. I came for the blueberry donuts because I've had it before from another shop and this one here looks exactly the same. However, it didn't taste the same. The other place was better but I don't remember where it was from. It was good but not amazingly memorable. I also enjoyed the strawberry fancy kronut. The creme brule with added filling, strawberry shortcake, and crumble donuts were okay.

He tried to correct her but she took advantage of him being nice and pushed the 3 boxes of donuts. He was so nice, she totally took advantage of his nice manners. I was at least hoping for good donuts but no one even could finish theirs. Three different flavors, all bad. Don't waste your time and money on this disgusting place with deceptive techniques.

Such a fun donut shop in Long Beach! The selection is incredible, with so many creative flavors that it's hard to choose. Everything looked fresh, colorful, and over-the-top in the best way. We tried a few different ones and they were all delicious. Huge bonus: they have kolaches! As someone who appreciates a good Texas-style sausage favorite, that was such a great surprise and definitely made this place stand out. Also had not seen an option for sweetness in Vietnamese coffee. Loved that Great variety, and something for everyone whether you want a classic donut or something a little more ridiculous and indulgent. read more
We stumbled across Knead Donuts while we were in the area and decided to give it a try. So glad we did because this place is truly a hidden gem! We tried the Peach Cobbler, Banana Pudding, and Lemon Poppy donuts, and all three were excellent. The donuts were soft and fresh, the toppings were generous, and each flavor actually tasted like what it was supposed to be. The Peach Cobbler was probably my favorite -- warm cobbler flavors with plenty of peach topping. The Banana Pudding was creamy without being overly sweet, and the Lemon Poppy had a really nice lemon flavor. I also ordered the Zombie Coffee with banana cream. If you like your coffee STRONG, this is the one! The banana cream added a nice sweetness and flavor without taking away from the coffee. What really impressed me was the selection. We didn't get there until around 2 PM, and they still had a large variety of donuts that looked fresh. A lot of donut shops are pretty picked over by the afternoon, so that was a huge plus. Service was excellent. Everyone was very nice, welcoming, and helpful while we were deciding what to order. One thing to know: there is no restroom available, so keep that in mind if you're planning to sit and enjoy your donuts and coffee. Great flavors, fresh donuts, strong coffee, friendly service, and plenty to choose from even later in the day. We found this place completely by accident, but we will definitely be back! Donuts were a bit dry, the toppings on it definitely were delicious however buying into the donut it was a bit dry and they are somewhat over priced! The lady helping said a dozen can go up to $60, what saved it for me was their iced coffee! Definitely try the banana coffee read more

You need to get Knead in your life! Visited Long Beach and my brother took me to one of his favorite donut shops. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and generous! Along with the half dozen I ordered, he added more and filled my box. In addition, he gave me a free Vietnamese coffee, and I was able to try the various levels of sweetness before I chose, which was great! I chose the 50% sweet and felt it was nicely balanced. As for the donuts, what can I say? They are true gourmet donuts and so unique. My favorite donut was the Ube donut and least favorite was the Dubai donut. I thought I would like the Dubai the most but it didn't hit like I thought it would. The rest were amazing and the Kronuts were a true treat. Another thing I loved was that I went the week of Halloween and there were many festive donuts to match the theme. My Ube donuts had chocolate bats on them, and the gentleman told me they also have festive donuts for Christmas, including the Grinch!! These donuts are wonderful, not just for yourself, but to take to something special. These will be a crowd pleaser and I look forward to coming back when I'm in the area. read more
The only reason I give this place less than a perfect score is because I think I've spent a grand total of eight minutes here in person. But don't get it twisted, Knead Donuts & Tea is worth all the hype. The parking lot is private but semi-limited. The decor on the inside and outside are vibrant and showcases the LB neighborhood. The staff is exceptionally kind hearted (we came near closing time and they gifted us with extra pastries after we bought a half dozen and some coffee from them). But what makes an eight minute experience exceptional is their reputation proceeds them. I've had their coffee and donuts a few times and every time it has been fantastic. The donut is crisp where the sugar glazes its surfaces, the flavors are strong and balance well with coffee, and the visuals be slaying all social media outlets. They are unique in their selection and they execute everything well. One of my favorites is the crème brûlée donut. Nice crunch for the caramelized exterior and a creamy not-too-sweet interior. A treat through and through. Whether you buy your goodies and hang inside to beat the heat or you take these delectable donuts to a party, you'll understand why you NEED Knead Donuts & Tea. read more
I haven't been to Knead in a long time and now they have 4 locations. The Man working the counter was very generous when I brought my sister for her first visit. We tried almost every donut and ordered a coffee. This is a very unique place and has the most creative donuts in LB. The best donuts I've had during my lifetime are Knead, Parlor Doughnuts in Oceanside, and Sidecar in Costa Mesa. read more

Customer service is always top notch. We live in Vegas and every time we pass through Long Beach, we have to stop at Knead Donuts & Tea. My favorite is the Thai tea with the cronut that has strawberries and cream. Love the crème brûlée with vanilla flavored cream as well. They have so many specialty baked goods that leave you wanting more. They keep a clean and presentable restaurant. Such a great find. read more

They have their own parking lot with plenty of parking. The guava cream cheese and fancy strawberry croissant were good. They were light and fluffy and not too sweet. The strawberry shortcake was ok. I got a hot Vietnamese coffee with oat milk and it was pretty good (also not too sweet). They close at 3pm on Saturdays but asked us to leave at 2:30 so they could start cleaning up. My friends and I went to the parking lot and sat in my car to chat for a bit and around 2:50 someone came up to my car and said they close the parking lot at 2:45 and asked us to leave. They were nice about it but it seemed weird when Google, Yelp, and the front door all say they close at 3... read more
You need KNEAD in your life! This is known as a gourmet donut shop, the donuts at Knead are specialty donuts with distinct flavors like dulce de leche, strawberry cheesecake, and creme brulee to name a few. The donuts are priced on the extravagant end, but they're worth the price! It's dangerous to live so close to this donut shop, I've tried several donuts and they're all delicious and fresh. My favorite has to be dulce de leche. Aside from their donuts, they also have breakfast sandwiches and Vietnamese iced coffee, cafe sua da. The breakfast sandwiches are on soft croissants and eggs are runny unless you tell them how to prepare it. They give you a choice of cheeses too. The coffee comes in different strengths. I've purchased donuts as small gifts to coworkers and friends and they always ask me where I purchased them from! Service is SUPER friendly, my favorite staff member is Amy. She's so cool and sweet! Food is always prompt, there's a small area to eat inside, there's always parking available! read more
tried out Knead Donuts & Tea after watching a YouTube video featuring it! as someone who went to undergrad in Lowell, MA, i felt it was my duty to support a Cambodian-owned business (if you didn't know, Lowell, Massachusetts has the highest Cambodian population in the US based on percent proportion!). for drinks, we got the Vietnamese Iced Coffees, one Regular with banana and one Black with half Kneaded (I think? which is basically just a very tiny amount of condensed milk). we also got a guava cream cheese donut. the banana vietnamese iced coffee was delicious and definitely kept me awake for a while! it had a nice amount of banana flavor. I didn't try the other one because I don't like black coffee )-: but the guava cream cheese donut was fire! it had so much flavor and you got enough of the cream cheese in each bite. the two people who were working there were super kind and polite. I definitely would come back here to try their other drinks and donuts and keep supporting the place overall. read more

Came here New Year's Day for breakfast. The parking is good. Walked in expecting a large donut display but there was not much. The available donuts looked nice and very decadent. We got two ham cheese croissant, blueberry donut, and a guava cream cheese donut with Vietnamese iced cofffee. Service was nice and fast, they had to heat up the ham cheese but the coffee was ready quickly. I docked off one point because I was expecting the best Vietnamese coffee. My bf and I enjoyed it, however I just expected something out of the world lol. It was small but clean inside, seats for waiting. They seem pretty busy with customers in and out. The croissant was good and the donuts are not average donuts. It was a nice place seemed to be run by a mother and daughter. read more
Knead is a "gourmet donut" shop located on 7th street and Redondo in Long Beach and they have been expanding in the area with a location in Cerritos and an upcoming location by Costco on Willow. I visited at 7am (before work) and they didn't have their creme brulee donut at this time. I typically see it in the afternoon and I'd recommend it. The contrast between the custard and the freshly bruleed sugar shell is nice. If you see it, then I think you should try it and eat it within the hour. If you hold it too long, then the sugar shell melts away. Today, I got their Cinnamon Roll donut, their Blueberry Cake donut, and a Thai Tea. Their Thai Tea ($6) was very good as it was strong and nicely balanced with half and half. Many places don't have the perfect balance that Knead has with their Thai Tea and I appreciate it. Their Blueberry Cake Donut ($4) was filling, it had blueberries in the cake, blended into the frosting, and there were whole blueberries on top, which were a nice touch. Their Cinnamon Roll ($4) was basically a cinnamon glazed donut. The reason I come once a year or once every other year is because their donuts range from $4 to $7. I sometimes get texts from FiveStars which makes "special" offers on a dozen donuts for $50, which just reinforces my distaste for the cost. While I like the donuts and appreciate the different flavors that they bring to the table, I know that I can get a dozen amazing donuts down the street for $17. I also cannot say that I'd prefer spending $7 for a doughnut rather than a more premium pastry with fresh fruit and laminated dough. I'd consider coming to Knead more regularly if they did one of three things: (1) if they offered some premium doughnuts that were freshly prepared and "still warm" at specific times of day. (2) if their standard/classic doughnuts (chocolate, glazed, cinnamon roll, old fashioned, bear claw) had pricing that was closer to other places as it would allow me to perceive better value, and I'd buy more volume of standard AND premium donuts. (3) If they rotated innovative flavors that I couldn't find elsewhere. Nevertheless, as I stated above - I do think that there are exceptional things here and I do visit intermittently. I think that you should as well so that you can make up your own mind on it! read more
Came to Knead because I saw they had a blueberry donut. I ended up getting 2 blueberry donuts, 1 ube cronut, and a maple bacon donut. Since I went about an hour before closing, the donuts didn't look as fresh as they probably do in the morning. My friend and I tried the ube cronut first, and it was so good! The blueberry was decent- not my favorite, but still good. The lady also gave me a free iced coffee, which was a nice surprise and really good too. I also love how they have Angkor Wat printed on their boxes and coffee cups- that was honestly one of the main reasons I wanted to check them out. Their donuts was little on the pricey side. Since the cronut was so good, I definitely want to come back and try more flavors. read more

I've heard about this before but never got the chance to try it until this week. I'm not a huge fan of donuts so I don't go out of my way to search for it. But a few days ago, after my pcp appt I was driving by on my way to my next appointment I popped in to get something sweet. The display was kinda disappointing. The inside looked like every other donut shop. Food was just behind a clear glass window without additional covering. When I saw the prices on the price tag, I thought I was mistaken. Each donut was $5+. That's ridiculous. These donuts are unique compared to others of course but don't justify the price. I looked at their drink choices; boba teas are also $6+. I didn't get any so I'm not sure if it'll justify the price. Anyways, it's def one of those special occasion places because nobody can afford to eat this often. Knead Donuts & Tea Located on busy street with plenty of parking. The shop is small and clean the staff laidback and chill the woman at the register was very helpful and has a sweet personality. Ube Cronut This donut light and slightly sweet with a nice chew light frosting not too sweet with a swirl of Ube buttercream delicious and creamy there is a small dollop of a coconut custard style filling on top that brings together all the flavors a Cronut is a tad dry but still an 7/10 German Chocolate Donut A cronut not too sweet covered with a thin layer of dark chocolate topped with a light chocolate buttercream and a dollop of thick coconut pecan frosting sprinkled with toasted coconut This one is good but I feel the cronut needs some sweetness the coconut pecan frosting is yummy saving this donut from a lower score. 6/10 for the cronut portion 7/10 for the cronut with buttercream and a dollop of coconut pecan frosting. $6 Maple Bacon This donut is lightly sweet with a nice chew light frosting topped with bacon the bacon could be better if they used more of it and eliminated the tiny pieces of fat usually this isn't a problem but the tiny pieces bacon with fat attached tasted weird. The bacon and the maple glaze paired together brought the salty sweet taste I expected. 7/10 $6 Holiday Maple Bacon (2) Maple Bacon with a tiny pancake and maple syrup container on top this one is a top tier interesting work of art it's cute and tasty with a nice chew the donut isn't too sweet the maple glaze is on point the bacon is good and this one has a lot. What makes it so special is squeezing that syrup on top it made this one a clear winner in taste with salty sweet deliciousness. 8/10 $7 each. Strawberry cheesecake Yeast donuts lightly sweet covered with a strawberry shortcake crumble and a light strawberry glaze. Topped with cream cheese cream a dollop of strawberry filling a a tiny bite of strawberry cheesecake this one has a bunch of flavors that work well together and I must say it really does taste like strawberry shortcake in donut form it's pretty good. 7/10 $7 each. My honest opinion I find that all of the donut bases are riding on the same theme they all taste exactly the same even the Cronut when they could have been made with separate tastes or a bit more sweetness in others. The good points are the quality of the ingredients used to make some of these donuts you can taste the freshness and they look good we taste with our eyes and these donuts hit that mark very well. Just know that these donuts are way too pricy in my opinion and will set you back appropriately $6-7 each, bringing the total price I paid for my order of 6 donuts & a small chocolate milk $43 way too pricey in my opinion. I don't think all of Kneads donuts are worth the price they're going for why because I've had some of the best donuts in California one that stands out is The Donnutery in Huntington Beach. Those donuts are worth every penny and knead doesn't compare they are pricy as well but the quality and what they offer vegan, gluten free etc is on another level. Chocolate milk. Was a bit too sweet for me I'll leave this for the kids I must have outgrown chocolate milk. Food: 7/10 Service: 7/10 Ambiance: 6/10 I have a philosophy about donuts: the more decorated and pretty they are, they less of an overall good experience they'll be because they're TOO darn expensive. Unfortunately this spot adds further evidence to my belief, because HOW did I pay $10 for two small donuts?! I ordered the lemon poppy old fashion + the maple pecan old fashion. Both were a tad too sweet but delicious. But I wasn't able to get price the premium price tag to properly enjoy them. This is a great spot for fancy donuts you bring to work or an elevated event. read more
We've wanted to stop here for a while, but we never had the time. Don't be like us...find the time! It was mid-afternoon on a weekend and we needed a little pep in our step. Right place at the right time, I guess, because we drove past Knead and had to make a u-turn, but we made it! We walked in and were greeted warmly by the gal behind the counter. We knew we wanted a Vietnamese coffee, but dang! Way to tempt a person with all the beautiful sweet treats! We got our coffee, which was delicious and a welcomed energy boost! But I couldn't leave without sampling some of the goodies! I got the Tiger Tail and hubby got a Blueberry Donut (I think). We are both fans of everything we sampled and will definitely be back! read more

Stopped in, and ordered a pig in blanket and 2 ham and cheese croissants. They gave us 2 sausage croissants instead and the pig in blanket was cold. Do we need to ask for it to be reheated when we order?

Those poles are only there to discourage people from parking overnight. They are removed during their normal business hours.
