She apparently had time, so she tacked those couple minutes on to the end and I got as many minutes as I actually paid for - that's always super appreciated! It would be nice if the room was a little more soundproofed or located further back in the building away from the road; I could hear lunch hour traffic rushing by on the street about 20 yd away. But other than that, this was a great massage, and I've had plenty over the decades. A lot of therapists these days slop through the motions, but Karen really has a pinpoint, accurate understanding of the human body and I give her full props for 90 minutes of targeted, firm pressure body work. As my massage was prenatal, we ended up having separate rooms, but Cindy checked to make sure I didn't mind first, and we were totally fine with whatever setup worked best. Cindy made sure I had proper supports for laying down, and used a body pillow to hug while lying on my side when it was time to do my back. My aching joints felt so much better after the hour, and my husband's massage therapist was able to work out several tense knots for him as well; we both felt much more relaxed and less achy post-massage.
