But I also had a delicious cheap meal here that I have to talk about!! I wasn't starving, just wanted a snack before a long few hours of furniture contemplation, so I got a kid's size of the swedish meatballs for $5. Literally crazy value. 4 meatballs, a scoop of mashed potatoes, scoop of peas, scoop of lingonberry sauce. Delicious as always, just as good as everyone says. And genuinely, I cannot recommend enough checking out the falafel meal. The falafel is thick and textured almost like a meatball itself, and completely full of delicious flavor. It's absurdly good. I usually go with meatballs because they're a classic, but after this experience, I might have to do falafel balls next time. And they were cheap as well! $5 for 8 falafels, couscous, hummus, and a lemon!! What a steal! I'll be back for more soon, probably when I finalize which dresser I intend to purchase. Definitely worth checking out! Service was nice and employees were all kind and helpful to me. Great experience.

Torrco was recommended to me for plumbing supplies by a contractor that I know. When we began…read morerenovations on my kitchen in early December, my wife and I went to Torrco to pick out and purchase all of the plumbing fixtures for our new kitchen. We were helped in the store by Evelyn Zepeda, and ended up purchasing thousands of dollars worth of products from Torrco that day, including a $1,200.00 Rohl Faucet. The items were not in stock and had to be ordered, but that was fine, as the kitchen renovation was just beginning, and it would be weeks, if not months before they were needed. Eventually the items were delivered, and they were installed in the new kitchen some time in February. The kitchen renovation was completed in mid-March, and we began to use the kitchen and faucet. Within a week or so, we began to notice that the handle was sticking and binding. Shortly after this, we discovered that there was an o-ring around the handle that was pinched and causing the handle to bind. I called Torrco to inform them that the faucet was defective, and was told that I could ONLY speak to Evelyn about the issue as she was our salesperson. Evelyn, however, was unavailable the first few times that I called. Eventually, I spoke with Evelyn, and she requested that I take pictures of the problem and send them to her. This was done on April 19, 2023, and Evelyn confirmed receipt on April 20,2023 stating that she would forward them to the manufacturer and get back to me. I received no response from Evelyn until I requested an update on May 9, 2023. Evelyn responded almost immediately and stated "Yes, they said that the escutcheon just needs to be untightened and that o-ring put back into place. It should be an easy fix, probably then they installed it was tightened to much. Let me know how it goes." I responded to Evelyn indicating to her that the faucet handle was not assembled by me or my plumber, but by the manufacturer. I also reminded her that I am not a plumber, nor do I know what an "escutcheon" is, and that I just paid $1,200 for a faucet that I expected to be of high quality, and didn't think that I'd have to repair a brand new faucet myself, or hire a plumber to repair a brand new faucet. This email went unanswered. I reached out to Evelyn again on May 16, 2023 asking for a response. Evelyn stated "I followed up with them today, as the tech support got back to me with the answer I provided to you. They said that is not something that needs to be replace it need to be untightened, I will let you know at soon they get back to me." I again mentioned to Evelyn that there was obviously a defect with the faucet, and that I should not be held responsible for repairing this. Evelyn responded on May 18, 2023 and stated "I complete understand, I reach out to them asking for a different solution. They sent it to tech support, once they get back to me I will let you know." Weeks went by, and I received no communication from Evelyn. At this point, the o-ring had now completely fallen out of the faucet, and the handle has been loose and jiggly as a result. In mid-June, my wife went to the store and spoke to Evelyn directly, asking for a solution to the issue. Evelyn did not offer any additional information, but told my wife that she would follow up with me. As of today, August 18,2023 I have received no response from Evelyn. As I have received nothing further from Evelyn, and did not want to spend even more money to hire a plumber, I decided to take Evelyn's suggestion and attempt to repair the faucet myself. While attempting to "loosen the escutcheon," I managed to peel the matte black finish off of the faucet. So now, after paying $1,200 for a faucet, being denied warranty coverage on a brand new faucet and being told to repair it myself, I am now left with a faucet that is still not repaired, but also damaged. If Torrco and Evelyn continue to refuse to stand behind their products, I am going to be forced to purchase replacement parts for a brand new faucet, and hire a plumber to install them. I am absolutely disgusted with the awful service that I have received. My wife and I feel as though, once they took our money, they no longer wanted to be bothered with us.

I had three rooms renovated, dinner patch work inside the house all done beautifully. I worked with a bit of contractors before that we're reliable, but JDRC puts in an extra umph to their work. Bathroom, kitchen, and bedrooms came out with excellent quality. Bedroom, split room, remove closet, and adding a door. Repainted walls and simple adjustment of light switch. Excellent paint job and sanding the walls. Bathroom renovation was done on removing grout and mold. Inside window tray was fixed. It was horrible initially because other contractors messed up the support and caused major molding to occur. JDRC was able to patch it but did recommend replacement. Repainted heatpipe. They sand down the old paint and repainted it. Excellent job with everything here. Kitchen work was cabinet replacements, sink, and countertop replacements. Everything was great. They even replanted the walls afterwards since they wanted everything to look nice and new to match their work. Kitchen window molding was replaced sure to new cabinet sizing. JDRC was flexible and easy to work with. They do honest with and trustworthy. I've seen contractors that cheat on their job, and JDRC did not. I highly recommend them for renovations. This job was done months ago but I haven't had time to write this review. Thanks again!

But it drove my wife crazy, and the more I looked at it, she was right... The grout was no longer white, but kind of gray & discolored.... it just looked bad. And also, when we moved in, the people before us had just applied caulk between the tub and the tile wall, and it was all yucky and discolored (and probably a bit moldy). So we decided we needed to regrout. I was considering doing it myself until I did some research... this sounded like a time-consuming, tedious job... removing the old grout, applying the new grout after mixing it, washing the tile, waiting for it to dry.... I'm not much of a do-it-yourselfer to begin with, so the lazy sombitch in me decided to see if I could find anyone who would render this service for a reasonable price. I called a few people, and some places (particularly Amore) were kind of douchy on the phone about re-grouting. So I called Mignone, and they were able to give me a ballpark estimate. He had someone come out in a week or so, and man, for just $175, they did an incredible job. It's unbelievable how new the shower looks now.... fresh, gleaming white grout between the tiles. The man got the job done in less than 4 hours, and in just over a day, it was dry and ready for use. So, if you are considering a little home improvement in this type of area, definitely give these guys a call. I do feel somewhat guilty not being a do-it-yourself guy, but then again, it felt good supporting a good, reputable local business. So, if you need anything work done with your bathroom tile, give these guys a call. Well, I take that back. If you're trying to install a secret camera behind one of the tiles so you can see your co-ed roommate take a shower, don't call these guys. You're a real sicko, man... and you need to get some help. But for anything else you want to do with your tile, try these guys.
